Have you not heard of the race of faith?

Many are called, few are chosen

Not all who try to enter in will be able. Strive to enter in at the narrow gate

Many run the race but one wins the prize.

As many as be perfect...

Seated in heavenly places

translated into the kingdom...

What is required to understand the gospel is nothing less than a PARADIGM shift away from man-made religion into the heart of God for His people.

The question was : is there a difference between a "NT saint" and a NT born again Christian ?

How is this an answer ?

Where is the Scripture that states NT saint ≠ NT born again Christian ?

It doesn't matter how many scriptures I provide if you can't discern what is being spoken of.

The thing is, you change Scripture constantly, the proof right after this.

For God so loved the world that whoever believes INTO Him should have eternal life.

Which translation is that ?

No single translation uses INTO, you are introducing a new word (into) for later use to fit what you have chosen to believe.

This is the work of God (not men)that you believe INTO Christ.

believe INTO Christ not found in the translations I checked.

And has translated us INTO the kingdom.

Finally a correct one.

Whoever believes INTO Christ has eternal life.

believes INTO Christ not found in the translations I checked.

I am come INTO the world so that whoever believes INTO Me should not walk in darkness.

believes INTO Me not found in the translations I checked.

I will stick by the words of Jesus Himself -- Abide in Me

2John 1:8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
2John 1:9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

1John 4:12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
1John 4:13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
1John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
1John 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
1Joh 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
1John 4:17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

~~~~~~
So I ask again - Where is the Scripture that states NT saint ≠ NT born again Christian ?
I'll give you a hint, ProDeo. Look in the concordance at the Greek word G1519 "eis" pronounced "ice", and compare how they translate it. The Bible translates the Bible.
With this information, look again at the verses Epi gave you.
You beat me to it. I also noticed the use of "εἰς" ("into") in the famous John 3:16 passage. But to be fair to ProDeo, I learned long ago when I first took German in Junior High School that the translation of prepositional phrases between languages does not always follow the literal meaning . In the German example, "Was für?" translates literally to "What for?", which in English means "Why?", but in German means "What kind of?"
Which makes me ask, why do we say in English that we believe "in" something? What are we inside of?
Interesting about the German nuance. The same goes for Greek with the masculine and feminine, like Hebrew or Latin languages. This puts English-only speakers at a disadvantage for understanding biblical texts. For instance, when the bible says "He" will come in regards to the Comforter...people are led to believe that this is a reference to a male gender Spirit. Whereas in Hebrew the Holy Spirit is feminine. So then we know that such gender disparities means that it isn't a separate Person from God.
Getting back to EIS in Greek.
The bible message is spiritual. And Greek speakers do not understand the gospel the same way that people who read the translations do. So that should raise a red flag. Orthodox believers see a union (theosis) with God in the gospel based on entering INTO Christ. So this difference in the gospel message as we (commonly) know it ....is not the English being a better way of reading the Greek...it is the poverty of the English translations that miss the depth of meaning in the Greek.
The problem is with the religious agenda that makes the translation conform to what seems reasonable and accessible. Basically, the religious system controls the narrative...not the original authors of the bible, and by extension God.
Is there a conspiracy going on for the souls of men? I think the bible is very clear on this...we are not to add or take away from the text. And there is a curse on those who trust in man. So it behooves any honest seeker to be critical of word choices of translators that either diminish the word values of the original text that blunts the message...or else adds to the text as a way to obscure the truth that would cover up our role in distinguishing the truth from a lie.
(I call those who trust in a translation of the bible MORE than seeking deeper into the original intent in the original language as being "trans".) :confused
I think we each have to take responsibility for the way the bible is being presented to us...in seeking the truth at depth...through wisdom, knowledge and understanding. We need to be more like the Bereans who sought the truth more deeply and were not easily swayed by what sounded convenient. We need to compare like with like and NOT fall into the trap of having a preferred apostle...like Peter for the Catholics or Paul for Protestants. I think each fully misunderstands their "favourite" author due to the fact that the choice is a carnal one and lacks balance for an understanding of the WHOLE counsel of God. In the end the bible can only be understood properly by reading through the guidance of the Spirit, that is able to guide us into ALL truth.
The bible message is spiritual. And Greek speakers do not understand the gospel the same way that people who read the translations do.
Nonsense.
You teach nothing but nonsense.
Listen.....Every person.... Greek, Chinese, Jew, Gentile...........all understand the Gospel the same way, and that is why they know to Believe it.
And when they do......their "Faith (in Christ) is counted by GOD, as (Christ's) imputed RIGHTEOUSNESS">.
The Gospel, that is the Grace of God, that is Christ Crucified as God's only reason to eternally forgive and accpet a SINNER .......is understood by everyone who is actually born again.
If you're not, then of course you wont be able to understand "GRACE.. through Faith". that is "The Gift of Righteousness".
And there is a curse on those who trust in man. truth from a lie.
The NT curse is actually sent to those who preach a false Gospel., as Paul teaches regarding them.
Its this verse......"Galatians 1:8"....and that teaches that any Gospel other then Paul's "Gospel of the Grace of God".. .and the person teaching it, is under a curse from God.
That would be you, as your Gospel is not Paul's Gospel, and in fact you have stated that "imputed righteousnes", and "the righteousness of Faith"....that Is Paul's Gospel, is "delusion".
(I call those who trust in a translation of the bible MORE than seeking deeper into the original intent in the original language
Its a con job and a false narrative to teach that the real truth is found in the Origianl "Koine Greek".....when in fact there is no original "K. greek Text"......there are literally about 30 completed NT Greek Texts.. and the Chruch recognizes 3 or 4, and NONE of them are the Originals.
They are all copies of copies.
The only "ORIGINALS" are the Apostles Letters, and those are long ago turned into dust.
So, its a faker, a false teacher - a religious pretender, who always tries to pretend that the "originals" are superior and the Translastions are not as good, are "faulty".
These religious pretenders do this because they are trying to prove that they are the authority, and the Bible isn't the final authority.
And it certtainly isn't for them......
Our new man is righteous and holy. But we still need the Lord to be imputing His righteousness to "us", because we still have an old man still existing.
Sure wish you would get the foundation of your gospel right...as it is, I'm afraid it is a false gospel, bottom line.
The problem with epi
is
He has done as many others before him have done .
meaning
HE can come along and expose the hypergrace and its sinfulness
AND YET HE leads men only into g reater darkness himself
with HIS UNBELEIF .
Did you know that even the wicked jospeh smith
could point out with pin point accuracy the deceptoins going on within churches at his time .
BUT WOE WAIL to all who followed that man , CAUSE LOOK WHAT HE LED THEM INTO . even GREATER rebellion .
You know full well that i myself expose the hyper grace movment ,
BUT YOU DARN SURE DONT SEE ME preaching UNBELEIF . NO ITS THE DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE ON JESUS
Epi DONT DO the latter and it has made him a man of great rebellion to GOD and HIS CHRIST .
Epi can easily influence the double minded
who also might see errors in this hyper grace
But Are led to UNBELIEF . WE should have preached THE WHOLE RIGHTELY DIVIDED DOCTRINE of CHRIST and of the apostels .
EPI does not know that or even teach it .
SO any man no matter how much truths he says against the hyper grace
and no matter how much talks about holiness he do give ,
UNBELIEF , teaching unbeleif , HECK ITS ALL IN VAIN and in all out rebellion towards GOD .
You need to stop splitting hairs.....that is the carnal mind trying desperately to make the scripture fit your doctrine, instead of forming doctrine from what the scripture teaches. The natural man can't perceive the things of God because they are SPIRITUALLY discerned. By your carnal logic here our old man isn't "ours" either and "we" wouldn't have needed the atonement or forgiveness.
Imputing righteousness is God calling things which BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY ARE. Says so right there in black and white...Romans 4. And truth is what God says it is. HE is the measure of truth, not our carnal logic. That isn't imagination or me believing a lie, but believing what God is calling truth. It's of faith and Spirit, so it needs to be spiritually discerned by those who actually have the Spirit of Christ and are looking to HIM, not their own mind. Just like we need to spiritually discern where it says all things HAVE been put under the feet of Christ but we do not yet SEE all things put under his feet.
Epi is a prime of example of what paul warned timothy about .
Having a form of godliness but DENYING the POWER THEREOF .
For the gospel of GOD IS THE POWER OF GOD unto salvation to everyone WHO BELIEVES .
ONLY EPI wont teach that DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE .
he has a form of godliness , of even holiness as he talks against sin
and uses JESUS own words as well as other apostels
to talk about A HOLY WALK
to talk about holiness and the spirit and the new man .
AND YET , WHERE ARE HIS LIPS and WHEN have HIS LIPS ever once
UTTERED THE ACTUAL POWER OF GOD
WHICH IS THE GOSPEL OF GOD unto salvatiion to every one who ......................drum roll, BELEIVES .
WHERE is that mention . IN fact he said the gospel is not about salvation . HE SAID THAT .
SO there it is . his fault is easily seen and easily exposed . the man preaches UNBELEIF
and yet he himself can claim to BELEIVE in JESUS . BUT darn sure dont beleive HIS GOSPEL .
in effect that makes His FAITH dead and void .
Through the Holy Spirit I only wish you meant. Some people are forever splitting linguistic hairs under a microscope but Jesus and the apostles weren't teaching and preaching to linguistic scholars and intellectuals were they. On the contrary the truth was hid from such and revealed to such as were like little children. He has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise.
Those phrases in the Greek just mean just what they have been translated in English to mean...it means to believe in, in the sense of placing one's trust and faith in. Which already goes deeper than a mere mental belief "about" someone or something. Christ came to dwell in us by such a belief/faith.....if He is in us, we are in Him.....and as long we remain in Him, abiding and not falling away, He will remain in us.
I'm very sorry for those who are relying on their own righteousness instead of the righteousness of God.......much better to receive and have HIM to rely on, for everything, for salvation, righteousness, as well as understanding.
And no wonder. Those who are relying on their own righteousness easily become enamoured with themselves. It just feeds their pride and vanity. Kind of like actors in Hollywood.
The bible translations are full of misleading errors that create a parallel ideology that is not supported by the whole counsel of God. An example of this is the insistence that the gospel is based on forgiveness as opposed to being set free from sin, by translating the Greek "aphesis" (remission) to mean forgiveness rather than "freedom". Another is to translate the Greek EIS into meaning "in" as opposed to "into" (The Greek already has a word for "in" which is "en"). Is this done on purpose? I believe it is... to make the bible more accessible for a greater audience.
And far too many now claim to be qualified, based on the reading of a bible translation, to justify themselves in their own beliefs...something that is NOT encouraged in the bible. In fact it is seen as abomination to the Lord. So there are far too many religious speculators that are interested in ignoring the plain warnings of the bible in favour of seeing themselves, or MAKING themselves, to be righteous for a mere assent to a perceived dogmatic proposition. That kind of proposition is a construct that is predetermined by an eisegesis of the text (and not an exegesis that would be hard to understand for laymen) by those doing the translating...who know human nature and what the desired effect is...to fill the pews. But to prepare people for the coming judgment...not a care is given.
On the contrary the truth was hid from such and revealed to such as were like little children. He has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise.
Simple things can be hard to explain to those who are deaf and blind. Explain the colour blue to someone who has never seen. And yet a bare infant can see the colour and say "blue"
So it is with spiritual things. I try to explain spiritual things to carnal religious people here and they think I'm making things up. They don't understand the text in the bible so they won't understand other ways of saying the same thing..like "higher walk". They will say...that's not in the bible. Thus these show a complete ignorance of the meaning of anything in the bible.
Those phrases in the Greek just mean just what they have been translated in English to mean...it means to believe in, in the sense of placing one's trust and faith in. Which already goes deeper than a mere mental belief "about" someone or something. This is still at the level of religious speculation, and not the power of God.
People will claim to be born again by simply placing their trust in the "finished work of the cross" naming and claiming the promises of the bible without heeding any of the conditions or hearing any of the warnings. These see grace as something to be exploited by self-interest. People learn to do these things expertly at cemeteries (seminaries or semanticaries) where the preaching of death to dead people is perfected.
I'm very sorry for those who are relying on their own righteousness instead of the righteousness of God.......much better to receive and have HIM to rely on, for everything, for salvation, righteousness, as well as understanding.
At least in theory. Which fiction is better? To think one is righteous.....or to think one is as righteous as God? I know that indoctrinated people think it is safer to OVER-claim than to under-claim.
A false balance is abomination to the Lord. One must keep the balances straight by comparing like with like. I will give ONE example that shows that the translators followed an agenda to make the bible more palatable for unspiritual people....thus filling the churches with unspiritual people.
The key test verse is...John 12:46
I am come a light into (eis) the world, that whosoever believes on (eis or INTO) me should not abide in darkness.
Now we see that the original author John used the same word twice to show a balance in the statement...to make people understand something of a spiritual nature. He used the same word EIS to mean INTO...to show the relationship between the coming of Christ and its desired effect. We have to treat the bible with equality comparing like with like.
What the text SHOULD read is the balanced...I am come a light INTO the world so that whoever believes INTO Me should not abide in darkness (but have the light of life).
This shows that it is the action of God that translates people INTO the kingdom realm. It is gift of grace by faith.
The ONLY honest way to translate the bible is to use the same word to mean the same thing...ESPECIALLY if it's in the same sentence.
Why translate EIS as "On" the second time...just to please people like Amigo???
There is a Greek word for "on" ....EPI.
There is a Greek word for "in" ....EN
It's bad enough that the word EIS is badly translated...but even in the same sentence?
And this is just one example.
I'm teaching a translation into the kingdom realm by grace through faith and all you can do is falsely accuse me and justify yourself for a vain philosophy based on an invented ideology that has no power over sin.
It's not OUR new Man...it is Christ. HE is the New Man. In Him is NO sin. Stop confusing yourself with God and you may learn something.
Ephesians 4:20-24 KJV
20) But ye have not so learned Christ;
21) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Pay attention to the passage I posted which shows your words false.
Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV
22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV
17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Rom. 13:14
Some here are putting on themselves...but we are exhorted to put on a holy anointing...Jesus Christ HIMSELF!
Here come the ad hominems. You are completely predictable.
Yes, of course, we put on Christ, but that's a poor showing for yourself to try to deceive others about what this passage says.
Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV
22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
This passage says what it says. You can post verse after verse, but it still says what it says. It shows your words false.
More attacks and slanders from this troll...who says that the verse I clarified the confusion with ...is a lie. Typical. Of course. But the bible translates the bible IF one is open to God and His ways.
In fact, the passage shows your words false, and now you cry and yell like any spoiled child.
No, I didn't say a verse was a lie. This is your lie now against me.
Dig deeper all you like, but you won't make your false words true unless you repent.
