Scripture states Jesus will come back on the same place He ascended, Mount Olivet, Israel.
What else does Scripture state?

Rev 16:10-11 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. (11) They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

I don't think 1948 has anything to do with anything.

So that point is moot to me.

Psst : They don't even have geneaologies concerning who is or who is not part of the 12 tribes, so good luck trying to pass that off to anyone...

Especially me.

Just think about. In 68-69 Ad is when I believe that the revelation was written because the thing had become to the point of "soon" things to come "quickly."

I don't believe the who consenus that John wrote in 90 Ad, cause the temple was destroyed and there would be no reason to write about measuing it.

One thousand and nine hundred and forty eight years later, doesn't mean a darn thing...

Im also A-political and not a Christian nationalist.

16 but this is [the beginning of] what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:
This is changing/twisting the Scriptures. There is no "the beginning of" in the verse.

ἀλλὰ τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ εἰρημένον διὰ τοῦ προφήτου Ἰωήλ
No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel (NIV)

The "Amplified Bible" should not be quoted in discussions. It is not a translation, it is a rewriting according to what the AB people would like the text to say.

Absolutely. Peter quotes the prophet Joel in Acts 2:17–21 during his sermon at Pentecost. This moment is pivotal—it marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church.
Here’s the passage Peter references, drawn from Joel 2:28–32, and adapted slightly in his speech:

Peter continues quoting Joel through verse 21, emphasizing signs, wonders, and the promise that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
This quote sets the theological tone for the rest of Acts—it’s a declaration that the messianic age has begun, and that the Spirit is now available to all, not just prophets or priests. It also reframes Joel’s apocalyptic imagery as a present reality, fulfilled in Christ and the Spirit’s arrival.

This is changing/twisting the Scriptures. There is no "the beginning of" in the verse.

Please just try not to argue or bicker with anyone cause no one really cares about these things anyway when it comes to people whom are futurist. Typically they think people who differ with them are wrong, and even are unsaved people...

Yes, I noticed. Personal attacks, mocking, being called liar, deceiver and worse by these good people. Therefore, I just post here or there, but no long discussions.

When it comes down to "anyone who calls upon the Lord will be saved" - concerning the Last Days - that meant being saved from the Wrath of God that was coming as promised in Malachi.

People do become liberated and saved - through the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and go on to love God and love others, and should know they are part of the Kingdom of God, they inherit what Jesus had, and they can grow up from children of God to becoming sons or daughters of God.

One other reason that this topic is typically ignore and shunned away.

Is because is supposedly messes up the world that people envision is coming, when Jesus comee back.

They think that all the evil is just gonna be rid of and you will have a phsyical body and you gonna regin with Christ Jesus, or something like that.

Well Sorry, from my understanding. That evil that was gonna be gotten rid of was the people of Israel that was part of the 12 tribes for what they had done...

So... while you still yourself are good and evil by merit of adam and eve

You still have to deal with yourself no matter what and be careful of people saying

You must be perfect like your heaven in is perfect -- cause in Revelation those people needed to get their act together that was warned...

people use that stuff today to manipulate and control you...

Thats not freedom or liberty at all, thats bondage, and they keeping you in bondage by telling you God hates you and that you are just a filthy sinner and you need to repent or you go to hell....

LOL

Yeah okay, there aint nothing wrong with unloading your burdens and your own mishaps to God but you are never gonna be perfect, you can grow from immaturity to maturity but that is about it.. you make wiser decisions in Yeshua, than you do in your own ways of handling.

Turst the resurrected Spirit of teh Lord Yeshua in you and bide in him.

It's been a lot easier coming forward and just being openly honest with everyone on the board that I am not some future seeing jesus coming guy. I just dont want to cause you false hope on those matters cause just think for a minute how many people have been duped in life concerning this message of false hope, not only that the messages of you if you dont change your ways God is gonna be mad at you all the while you beliving in the resurrected Lord Yeshua.

People out there man, we can be abusive. Especially for people who are leaders of a group -- they gotta "protect the fold" ..

That was teh Apostles job in their day when they ... was "in charge of protecting the fold..." "and governing the body of Christ"

which was living breathing people.

Hope to be with God in the afterlife.

It's not that hard.

You quoting what they expected and hoped for.
Do you hope to be with our great God and Savior Jesus Christ for eternity? What does that look like in our view? Where do you think we will spend eternity with Jesus/God?

People say and suggest whatever they want on my post.

You wont be able to get around Peter quoting Joel concerning the fulfilment of the last days being upon them. Sorry.
Do you think that God is no longer pouring out His Spirit on people? Do you think that people are no longer calling on the name of the Lord and being saved? That is what Peter said would be happening during the last days (see Acts 2:16-21), which had already begun before the day of Pentecost long ago. Not sure why you think "the last days" only lasted for a relatively small amount of time, but there is nothing about the term "the last days" to indicate that it can only refer to a small amount of time. It's the last days in the sense that there won't be any more days after they end (after the last day of the last days). That's all. The last days started with the first coming of Christ because that began the countdown to the future last day when Christ comes again and raises the dead and judges people (John 6:40, John 12:48).

I believe the resurrected Spirit of the Lord Yeshua is what resides in us today.

I dont believe people who say they are healed by faith healing. I got a lump in my throat and it aint cause im not faithful enough.

I do believe that the gifts of the holy spirit of what was in that day did eventually cease.

I believe the Holy Spirit of God ---> Changed -> to Holy spirit 2.0 - The Spirit of Christ.

You can lump a lot of things together, but I am just gonna answer your question simply.

Your other question is just another quote from what was written to a specific person concerning them waiting and watching... has nothing to do with us today.

I told that to the other person who shared the same mention you just mentioned already.

-- Reminder imma post how I want to and I dont have to do anything else but just be honest.

Do you not know how to quote people's posts and then respond to them? It took me a while to realize that you were responding to me here. Your response makes no sense to me. I'm afraid it's not possible to have a reasonable discussion with you because you are not able to express your thoughts clearly. Thanks for trying, anyway.

I want to just bypass all of that.

If it makes people mad, or does not. It wont matter to me personally. I don't gotta listen to what people tell me to do or not do.

I don't appericate in being looked at being incompentant but alas, I'm a failure :).

I try to do whatever I may do with clever intent despite the player of cards.

I know that people quote bible verse:

"we are waiting our great God and saviour and his return"

Thats from a letter written to a specific person concering their hopes in which they would see.

Does not pertain to today.

Dont know how that can be not understood.

People quote the bible so much concerning information that never pertains to them...

So... It doesn't mean there is no use if you use it properly but if you misuse it there is a ton of problems the individual will have concerning their thought process and also their whole world view.

Thank you to everyone who wants to ask questions - and if you don't understand my answers I can't help that.

Most people are wanting to debate and say "no Matthew thats not right, - scripture scripture-" and then make more irrevelant points that typically dont matter.

I believe its apparent for most on the board I am not.

Jesus walked around and reading those Gospels he talked to the Jews.
Paul wrote to saints.

there is no saints today.

Not gonna change - some call it pride.

Im thankful that the end-times are over with and that the only end time that remains is death.
Matthew, we are living in the end times. Take a look at Ezekiel 38-39, the Gog/Magog event to take place in the latter years, latter days (Ezekiel 38:8, Ezekiel 38:16).

The 7 years of Daniel 9:27 are the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9 following the Gog/Magog attack on Israel.

Ezekiel 39:17-20 is the feast on the dead bodies of Revelation 19:17-18 (read those two passages)

Ezekiel 39:21-29 is Jesus Himself speaking in the text, having returned to this earth (in the near future).

No we are not.

People do believe we are though... at least your honest that you think so.

I believe Peter was not wrong when he said they were in the last days when he mention Joel in Acts.

You just quoting the old testament which dealt with the jews. Not americans or any other countires.
