My goodness, the spiritually dead in Hell are called up to Judgment in Rev. 20, and then cast into the Lake of Fire, along with Hell itself.

You are very confused, Matthew! It doesn't say they are outside the gates of New Jerusalem, it says they are without....

If you read the previous verse, they are WITHOUT the right to the Tree of Life.

They were cast into the Lake of Fire in Rev. 20 and that's where they will be forever.

It always turns out this way, but hopefully some that aren't familiar with the subject can look for themselves and see the truth.

Hell was a place for the unjudged spiritual dead. Hell is thrown in the lake of fire.

So what? That means that is not the destination people end up in anymore...

It's inactive today.... regardless of where it is... Peoples sins have been paid for now.

They die and they are judged and they are placed either inside or outside the Kingdom.

Lake of fire is an option to go towards in my opinion. That fire is coming from God himself and they will find Jesus there.

I think all these people who want people to go to hell, are just ignorant of how God's plan is....

He plans on resurrecting the bad and good, and he has a place for both parties, outside and inside the kingdom.

People just don't go far enough to see that Revelation 21, 22 are completely new scenes... They aren't like Revealation 1-20.

You can't connect Revelation 1 - 20 with Revelation 21,22, other than the final words of the chapter which brings people right back to the start especially those people reading it in that day in age, concerning the return of Jesus, and the wraht of God being poured out among the people, including the judgement itself.

@Charlie24, While I think you may be rude saying I am confused, that just leads to dishonest discussion.

So, while you may be thinking people are going to hell today I guess. I do not.

I see Revelation 21, 22, picture.

I'll still eat with you at a dinner table.

Do you see the danger in what you're teaching here, or in what you believe?

The message it's sending to others?

No.

I am not teaching people to believe anything I am telling them.

I am constantly saying never believe me.

I do know what I am sharing however.

There is nothing wrong with what I am stating either.

@Charlie24, there are people out there that wish death upon me.

Thats more worrisome.

However.

It's the least of my concerns.

There's a danger on each side of you, Matthew.

If you are wrong about Hell,

1. You are telling others if they don't repent and believe the Gospel from the heart, they don't have to worry about going to Hell. and or spend eternity there eventually in the Lake of Fire.

2. You will stand in judgment of what you have told others. We are responsible to communicate the truth of the Scripture to others.

We had better make sure that what we are saying to others, especially when it concerns our everlasting position in Christ, is Scriptural and can be shown in Scripture when questioned.

Hey Charlie, I know this topic can stir up strong feelings, but I just want to share where I’m coming from with love and clarity.

I’ve already talked with you about this—my understanding of Hell isn’t based on fear or tradition. According to Revelation 20:14, “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” That tells me Hell, as many imagine it, has been dealt with. It’s not the eternal torture chamber people often preach about.

When someone dies today, I believe they’re resurrected, judged, and given a spiritual body—just like 1 Corinthians 15:44 describes: “It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.” From there, they’re placed either outside the Kingdom or within it, depending on that judgment.

As for the lake of fire, I don’t see it as a place of hopelessness. Revelation 14:10–11 talks about the Lamb being present there, and if Jesus is in the fire, then people passing through it still have a chance to encounter Him. That’s not fear—it’s refinement. Like Malachi 3:2–3 says, “He will be like a refiner’s fire… He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.”

I know some of this is conjecture, and I’m not claiming to have all the answers. But I do believe it’s worth exploring beyond the old binary of Heaven vs. Hell. God’s story is bigger than that.

If there’s more you want to discuss, I’m open. But I also trust that God lives in me (Galatians 2:20) and knows my heart. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Whatever He wants to do with me, I’m surrendered to it.

And just to be clear—He hasn’t convicted me about sharing these thoughts. Only people have. But Romans 8:1 reminds me, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

I’m not here to argue—I’m here to share, reflect, and grow. If you want to keep digging into this, I’m all ears.

I will not be bullied, nor am I going to put up with emotional abuse.

I'm not here to argue or bully anyone. I'm here to remind folks that Christ said in Hell there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth where the worm dieth not.

Christ took this from Isaiah 66:24,

"And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."

This is serious stuff, Matthew! This passage I just quoted is a reference to openings in the earth that man will be able to look into Hell itself and see those in there.

I can't remember where Isaiah introduced these openings in the earth, but I will find it and post it.

That's all on you, brother, @Charlie24.

I'm someone who believes Jesus has had the victory over all things.

All I need to focus on is growing and abiding in the resurrected Lord Jesus.

You can think I am leading people straight to hell ... but to me Jesus over came, Satan, Death, Sin, and Hell...

No one is going there anymore. They are judged, based on the life they lived.

Resurrected in Condemnation to outside the Kingdom.
Resurrected into Live to the inside of the Kingdom.
Resurrected into the better resurrection, inside of the Kingdom.

I mean... for you it's serious. For me it's not as serious because I have had faith in Jesus overcoming hell to begin with for the past 5 years.

It's obvious its gonna ruffle some feathers to those who are so worried and scared of this place that is inactive...

God is Love, but by the nature of His promises to man He must also be the Judge and Executioner.

So what?

Everyone knows that. They choose to believe on the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, or not.

God made it to where unbelievers can reside somehow outside of the Kingdom of heaven.

It say so in the bible @Charlie24.

Hey friend, I know a lot of people carry fear when it comes to God. They’ve been taught to tremble at the thought of judgment, as if Jesus isn’t strong enough to overcome Hell itself. But Revelation 1:18 says it plainly: “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Jesus holds the keys. Not fear. Not tradition. Not condemnation.

Now, I’m not claiming to be perfect or some kind of saint. I’m just someone who’s learning, growing, and seeking truth. And I’ll be the first to say—don’t take my word for it. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. Go to the Word itself. Dig into scripture. Because if you don’t, fear might end up running your life instead of faith.

Hebrews 4:16 reminds us of something powerful: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Because of Jesus, we can go boldly to God. We’re not outsiders—we’re His children. Romans 8:15 says, “The Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”

God isn’t far off. He’s within us. He’s near. And He’s listening. We have the privilege of prayer, of relationship, of walking with Him daily. And if someone chooses not to want that—well, they’re choosing to live outside the gates of the Kingdom. But the invitation is always open.

This isn’t about fear—it’s about freedom. It’s about stepping into the truth that Jesus already won. And that changes everything.

Ok, we are worlds apart, Brother, I'll leave you alone now.

We are not only responsible for what we say, but for what we didn't say.

I have said it.

Good. I'm glad to know we are worlds apart!

We still believe in that Lord Jesus, who died on the cross, and God who rose him up from the dead, by the holy spirit.

Im never gonna change my stance. It took 8 years to get here.

I hate it for people that never read the bible books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John outloud to themselves.

If they would literally read chapters a day, and get through those books in a few months time, and think about everything that is being said, and consider the audience of that time, and then go forward with Acts, and watch what happens, and see the whole of the audience written to afterward as a whole group of people that are living in that day in age, I believe it would help them siginficantly.

What happens is preachers fail... they don't do that with their congergates because they know, if they say "Jesus returned and overcame all things" and actually teach Revelation... boy oh boy, how it would change persepectives and world views, and lead more people to living in the resurrected Lord Yeshua within them...

In fact its so boring, people aren't gonna come back.

They fail cause they want the money... they need people to keep coming back... keep them hooked like fishes...

People probably notice I don't talk about Satan or the Devil hardly at all cause I believe that they were done away with...

You aren't gonna get that at church, they need you to stay, and obey! Otherwise you get thrown out.

Ive stood up in churchs and spoke out and walked out.... Ive gotten in trouble by Owner man... lol.

I was never the one who wanted to be controlled.
