It was necessary to have the context explained by defining the meaning of "assuage" so that other readers could understand what was being stated.

I do have a degree of respect for QT, and I believe that providing some understanding to what the word "assuage" was implying could only enhance the understanding of other readers on this forum.

@ProverbsInPink is it your responsibility to defend QT in this case or should his wisdom that he often displays, be the only defence that he needs.
