Nowhere does Paul say we are under covenant. He only says the covenants applied to Israel.

Yes He did. The water baptism (JTB's) is/was/will continue to be a baptism of repentance. Nobody will be forgiven unless they repent (I could be wrong but, no way to know).
John preached the baptism of repentance so Israel would confess their sins and be water baptized for the forgiveness of those sins
We arent commanded to be water baptized. We believe Christ died for our sins, in whom we have forgiveness
We are to repent when we sin, know who we are in Christ and put off sin
There is no difference between Israel and the church when it comes to forgiveness.
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Lets start with Jesus and the twelve. During Christ's earthly ministry he built his church..........[Matthew 16:18 KJV] 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it............Christ brought people into the church by preaching his gospel. Christ's gospel was to repent because the prophetic Davidic kingdom was at hand........[Matthew 4:23 KJV] 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.............This gospel of the kingdom was the only gospel Jesus preached, and this is the gospel he sent the twelve to preach..........[Luke 9:1-2, 6 KJV] 1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
In the gospels the apostles preached to believe on the name of Christ. They had to believe Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God............[John 1:12 KJV] 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
[John 3:18 KJV] 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[John 20:31 KJV] 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
After the ascension of Christ, Peter and the apostles preached to believe on his name.........[Acts 3:16 KJV] 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

After Jesus's ascension Peter preached the water baptism of John for the forgiveness of sins, plus receiving the Holy Ghost................ Paul did not preach the gospel of the kingdom. Paul preached more than the name of Jesus. Paul preached all that the cross accomplished.

I can appreciate your understanding of these verses all being related to water baptism, but the baptism Paul speaks of is NOT water baptism, it is baptism by the Spirit of God..........................[1Co 12:13 KJV] 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Paul did preach the kingdom. What in the world are you talking about?
Ac 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. He also spoke of it 16 more times in his epistles.
Of course they preached the name of Jesus. You fail to understand the oriental concept of "name" It includes everything the person is and everything a person does or will do.In Jesus' case it meant the cross and the resurrection. Those details weren't mentioned simply because they had yet to happen/ Here is proof they are the same gospel:
Jesus' gospel:
Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Paul's gospel
Ro 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
They gospel is the same for all.

One of the ways to get out of the "water baptism saves us " mindset is to realize that we can be water baptized 300 times, "in Jesus Name" or "in the Name of the F-S-HS", and we are still not born again.
Water baptism does not have any POWER..........it can't cause a spiritual birth.....so, that means it is not involved in Salvation.
Another way to think about Water Baptism, .. is...
If Jesus never came down here yet....He is still in heaven.......Has not died on The Cross yet....
Now go and water baptize 3000 people, for the "remission of sins".....and how many are Christians?

Acts is not comprehensive it doesnt elaborate what Paul said about the kingdom. Paul did preach the heavenly kingdom NOT the earthly kingdom................. Yes we are to believe on Christ Jesus for salvation. everyone cites this verse for salvation. but fail to look at the context. Romans 10:9-10 is part of the "romans road for salvation" but should we cite this verse for salvation? Who had to confess Christ? Israel had to confess him openly ...........................[Mat 10:32-33 KJV] 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
If the Jews confessed Jesus they faced being kicked out of the synagogue..................[Jhn 9:22 KJV] 22 These [words] spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

The Reality is.....>John is preaching Paul's Gospel that is completely established by BELIEVING in Christ....without works and without water baptism.
= That's Paul's Gospel, of "FAITH in Christ" .."Justification by Faith"...>.. and John is preaching it.
You are one deluded individual. You ignore clear scriptures that show Paul preached the kingdom. To preach the kingdom IS to preach the gospel.

And any gentile who believes that is as saved as any Jew that does. Your arguments are getting sillier by the hour.
Every Gentile must believe this as well. If they don't they cannot be saved. Can you point out one gentile person who was saved that didn't believe in His name?
