Revelation 20:1 Thessalonians 4:
15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (in their grave).
16. For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Revelation 20:
6. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the 'first resurrection': on such the 'second death' hath no power, but they shall be priests of GOD and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
The above is a future event to take place after the Great Tribulation, just after anti-Christ and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire.
And likewise after satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years.
4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of GOD, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
In the future 'first resurrection' or 'rapture', Apostle John saw, among others resurrected in Heaven, souls of them persecuted during the reign of anti-Christ and time of the Great Tribulation.
They are mentioned of present in Heaven, after anti-Christ and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire burning with brimestone, and satan bound into the bottomless pit.
Therefore the 'first resurrection' or 'rapture' takes place after the Great Tribulation
Revelation 7:
14. And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(There's only one Great Tribulation besides tribulations mentioned in the New Testament, and these are the martyres who came out of it. Apparently their white robes of righteousness have been stained with blood persecuted to death, and only in the blood of the Lamb it has been made white again.)
15. Therefore are they before the Throne of GOD, and serve HIM day and night in HIS Temple: and He that sitteth on the Throne shall dwell among them.
