22-minute video. Very scriptural. Is he correct?

No.

The speaker has not considered the last 100 years of history to confirm whether or not his understanding is true.

Did you watch the video?

Preterist theology is based on a misapplication of historical records.

I started watching the video but after starting to watch it was obvious to me that what was being presented was wrong.

Claiming that the Roman empire was the fourth segment of the statue prophecy is also blatantly wrong since the Roman Empire only appeared around 60 years after Babylon was devastated and desolated by the Seleucid Empire and the people were scattered throughout their empire.

Recorded history supports this position.

The beast is not here yet, not at least in the form it has during the 42 months. Jesus certainly did not return in the past. We are waiting for his return.

IMO he is correct Revelation is written before AD 70.

With the knowledge the dynasty of the Caesar's considered themselves gods, may qualify them as the beast.

It was written much later which is why there is no prophecies in it covering the events of AD 70. Zero. Not one word about the temple being destroyed. Nothing.

AD 70 is more like Antichrist Doctrine 70. It is pure deception.

I agree. The beast in Revelation 13 is end times, 42 months before Jesus returns.

I am looking for the resurrection/rapture before then.

Did you watch the video?

No sir.
I don't do video's to establish end time theology.

I use scripture.

Again, my question was: What beast did Jesus destroy?

The temple and city were destroyed in 70 AD.

I don't even need to watch the video in order to determine if he is correct or not. Nor am I even going to bother watching his proposed Preterist nonsense. Clearly, he isn't correct. Take 70 AD, the time period in question. Was there also a false prophet involved with 70 AD? After all, according to Revelation 13, there can't be a beast unless there is also the false prophet working hand in hand with it.

Check chapter 11, the temple is still in place.

Do some history check, the Zealots.

Rev 11 is in the future and the temple is mentioned so either a new temple is built, or it's figurative. Again Rev never once speaks of AD 70 and the destruction of the temple. If it was written before AD 70 and covers the events of the first century then it should speak of it but not one word. Lets not skip over the fact that two people were not killed in the streets of Jerusalem, then resurrected and went into heaven in the sight of everyone there./ Did not happen, but it will in the future.

When something is new to you, it isn't necessarily wrong. I gave you one reason, this man 10.

He says the Roman Empire.

Wow.

The roman army devastated the city of Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple, just as Daniel prophesied.

At the end of the age it is different, whereby Zechariah prophesied that Jesus Jesus destroys the armies that surround Jerusalem.

Two different times.

Two different prophesies.

Two different prophets.

Two different outcomes.

Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come,
And all the saints with You.

Zechariah 14:1-5

This scripture has yet to be fulfilled.
