Indeed the second coming brings Judgement. God promises to avenge the blood of the saints He spoke to at their graves, because their blood cried out to Him from the grave. Jesus Himself, comes with a double edge sword to judge those who attacked His bride, His body, His elect. Blood will be as high as a horses sadle and as far as the eye can see. The Beast and False prophet will be cast into the lake of fire, and the Dragon, Satan will be thrown down into the abyss for a thousand years. That's judgemet and the end of this age.

Suddenly, we enter the mellennial age, at the end of the mellennia, Satan is released, He will gather the nations against God, and God destroy's them, not with a battle, but straight out of heaven, first with an earthquake, and then with brimstone and fire. Suddenly, God vaporises this earth and this heaven, and a new heaven and new earth appear, and the New Jerusalem.

The “second coming” is a two fold period that begins quietly with little warning but with huge global events.
When Jesus disciples asked him about his return, he first told them that the Temple would be utterly destroyed with not a stone left upon a stone. That happened in 70 CE when the Romans came back to finish what they started in 66CE. Without warning....those who remained in Jerusalem contrary to Jesus warning to “flee to the mountains” when the first assault took place....died a horrible death in the second.

Matt 24:3-8....
“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains”. (ESV)

So, Christ’s return was to be heralded by a multi-faceted “sign”....false Messiahs, or those claiming to be led by him personally (they walk among us) who would be leading many astray.....but then something the world had never seen before....”nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”

So when did the world see a war like it had never seen before...unprecedented in human history? It was called “the Great War” of 1914-18, which came out of nowhere, and drew in all the nations of the world into it through their political alliances. No one could have predicted such a conflagration....except God, through the preaching of his son. Only with the outbreak of another World War were the two combined into the First and Second World Wars. The death toll was enormous. But more was to follow...

Jesus told them.....
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (ESV)

We are living in the final part of “the last days” of this current world system, (2 Tim 3:1-5) and God is about to bring satan’s world into judgment.

Seen in Daniel’s prophesy...
Dan 2:44 tells us what will take place in the days of the current world rulers....
“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever.” (ESV)

Let those who support worldly kingdoms take note....none of them will survive.

This is the timeline as the Bible tells it...it is logical and stands up to scrutiny as to what we should expect to be seeing as this world’s political system and all its other systems...financial, medical, social and religious all fall apart as their dodgy dealings are exposed, but which have been hidden for many decades by ongoing propaganda.

People are now waking up to how horribly they have been misled by “the god of this world” creating in them a “blindness” that they were oblivious to for so long. A confrontation is coming and it will be ugly....
The greatest tribulation in the history of mankind is about to be unleashed upon an unsuspecting public.

Are we ready for a “new heaven” ruling over a “new earth”....a heavenly government of God with his Christ and his elect finally bringing redeemed humanity back into reconciliation with God.....

Rev 21:2-4 tells us the outcome....
“And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (ESV)

This is “the good news [gospel] of the kingdom”....

The resurrection and the judgment of all happens at the return of Christ, then we get new earth and new heaven

Paul describes what happens to the church right here, but not the the wicked

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [b]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [c]sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [d]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Paul says what happens to all, there will be a resurrection of all the dead
Acts 24:14-16

14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. 15 I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection [a]of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. 16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

Jesus tells us what happens at the resurrection of all the dead, all are raised at the same time, and all are then judged

28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

Paul tells us what happens when Christ comes back

God’s Final Judgment and Glory

3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and [a]tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest[b] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with [c]tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who [d]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

All the living are all destroyed who do not believe.
They are killed and raised on the Last Day
Jesus calls it the Last Day, as that is the Last Day of this world.

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you have ears to hear?
Paul tells us the world is judged at the appearing of Christ
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
When does Jesus judge?
When you finished everything you could do in your life.
Is the second coming Judgement day?
Yes.and No.
Well read the scriptures about the judgment day and see
God the Father has appointed a Day of judgment.
That Day is when Christ will judge the world, at His appearing.
And people who do not believe are already condemned, as they have not believed as Jesus says in John 3
John 3
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
The final last day, the day of judgment is a formal final judgment of all people and creatures, like Satan, His angels, evil spirits etc...
Unbelievers are condemned already, but not formally and finally judged yet.
Similar to a court of law, prisoners locked up in jail, await their day in court, where they will be formally judged.
People who die unbelieving, do not go to be with Christ, they are held in hell to await the day of judgment, as they have no eternal life.

22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

33 So Paul departed from among them.

34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

It cannot simply be said that it was Only the day of judgment.

About the judgment, don't go thinking there is a judgment by Christ the Son at His appearing, and a separate judgment by God the Father later. There is only the judgment by Christ the Son
This is an indirect proof of who the Son truly is!

Here is what Christ says

Honor the Father and the Son

16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, [d]and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.

22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,

23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Great White Throne Judgment
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [d]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
His coming again is a glorious appearing of Christ.
It is loud, the trumpet of God sounds, and every eye sees Him coming on the clouds of heaven and all the world is scared to death, except for His people as His coming means their salvation and the doom of this world.
Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
The second coming is NOT QUIET! Why didn't you qoute Mathew 29:24 - Here ya go...READ IT!
I tried...really I did, but it’s not in my Bible....so perhaps your reference is in Matt 24:29? I have a problem with numbers too.
The return of Jesus Christ is described in detail in Matt 24....
Which includes all the global events that would indicate Christ’s “presence”....there are many, and only one time period in history fits his description......and only after all those events take place, does it speak about the “great tribulation” in V21. (
Has this event happened yet? Have all the other things already manifested? What is the only unprecedented war in the history of the world? Followed by the Spanish flu epidemic that took more lives than the war did. Food shortages were experienced as a result of the war because all the resources of the nations involved were cantered on the war effort.
Have we seen love disappear from the world and be replaced by total selfishness?
What about “earthquakes in one place after another”?
Are you seeing what we are all seeing as the earth’s plates are now heading for a cataclysmic event centred in the Phillipines?...they are warning that it will trigger something global.....so big that their present technology cannot handle it. Mother Earth is not happy....
In Matt 24, Jesus gave a “sign of his “presence” (parousia).....not of his “coming” in V 3. If his return was a visible event, why would we need a “sign of his presence” to indicate that it had taken place? (This is where Matt 24:29-31 is fulfilled)
Jesus was to come again in the same “manner” that he left.....so, how did he leave? With great fanfare? Or was it quietly, with just his apostles witnessing it as he slowly rose and disappeared into a cloud? The world at large was unaware that it took place. He is already here and has been for over 100 years.
This is the time period that mirrors “the days of Noah”....a time when people were judged by what Noah told them, whilst he was building the ark.....but they did not listen, and all outside of the ark perished as the world of that time was wiped out.
The “sheep and the goats” are being separated during this period of judgment, which culminates in “the battle of Armageddon”. The most decisive battle in man’s history....the war to end all wars.
When Jesus manifests as judge, at the end of these “last days”.....then the world will without question “know” that he has “come” to make an accounting....will it be too late for the majority? Jesus says yes. (Matt 7:13-14)
We know when the last days began, but not when they end.....God has kept that information to himself, not even his son knew when that was to take place when the prophesy was recorded. (Matt 24:37-39) As he is poised to bring judgment on the world, the great tribulation will herald that judgment. It will be swift and decisive.......the end of satan’s rulership, and the beginning of Christ’s reign is not far away. (Dan 2:44)
Are we ready? (Matt 24: 44)
Are we ready? (Matt 24: 44)
Jesus was not specific about times and dates, However, having said that, Jesus gave us bench marks that we could rely on signaling not only the pre end, but also the end. For example He said things like "there will be wars and rumors of war, but the end is not yet". He uses the end as an indication that these are global signs. In their day, they had no way to communicate with the world except through Rome. Today this particular passage and all the others like it, brings us very close to the next entry, "THE" end. But here again, Jesus does not use the term end of the world, chosing His words very carefully, He says "theend of the age".
The tribulation, is a time of persecution for the Church. Again, speaking in bench marks, Jesus describes what will happen in this period.
Matthew 24:6-20
6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
John 15:18-20
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ if they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.
Now, you might say, that Jesus was talking strictly to His disciples regarding their generation, however, when you read all the scriptures, namly Matthew 24:29, you will hear Jesus Himself say, "After the Tribulation of "those days"
In otherwords, Jesus lays out a historical picture in this manner: First, the outpouring of God's spirit upon on all flesh, then the preaching of the Gospel, then the Church age, or the age of Grace, over centuries, until the full number of gentiles are brought into God's family, then wars and rumors of wars, but the end is not yet, then the rise of the anti Christ, when the son of perdition stands in the Holy place, then the persecution of the saints of the most high God, and then the final sign of the end of this age, the fullfilment of Matthew 24:29
But just before "the tribulation of those days", the disciples were warned that they would be beaten in the synagogues and be brought before the "rulers" and "councils" (of the Sanhedrin) for Christ's sake (Mark 13:9). This was a first-century threat for Christ's disciples which the book of Acts describes taking place back then - not a current threat of believers being beaten in Jewish synagogues today and brought before non-existent Sanhedrin rulers and councils for Christ's sake. Paul proclaimed in many places in his epistles that the gospel had been preached in all the world to every creature under heaven, and in all the world. So the Matt. 24:14 promise that the gospel would be "preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations" before the end came was already done back then before "the end" took place.
Indeed the second coming brings Judgement. God promises to avenge the blood of the saints He spoke to at their graves, because their blood cried out to Him from the grave. Jesus Himself, comes with a double edge sword to judge those who attacked His bride, His body, His elect. Blood will be as high as a horses sadle and as far as the eye can see. The Beast and False prophet will be cast into the lake of fire, and the Dragon, Satan will be thrown down into the abyss for a thousand years. That's judgemet and the end of this age.
God promised to avenge the blood of the elect "speedily" back then in the first century (Luke 18:1-8). There has not been a delay of 2,000 years for this "speedily" avenging process to be completed. All of this above has already been fulfilled long ago, including the millennium which ended with the "first resurrection" in AD 33. We are not waiting for any of those prophecies to take place today.
I agree with you, but you quoted me as if I was hanging on one scripture. I cearly stated that one must look at all the scriptures to understand who Jesus is talking to and when. In Mattew 24:29 Clearly in His 2nd coming, Jesus says: "Immediately after the Tribulation of 'those' days...". He isn't talking about the Sanhedrin here is He? However, the other things He says in Mark remains relevant even in "THOSE DAYS", such as, they hated me they will hate you also, and a servent is not greater than His master. Jesus only way out was the cross and the grave, then the resurrection. Do you have a better way out?
Mark 13 and Matthew 24 had elements applying to the time before Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70, and also the times before His second coming.
Jesus was talking about immediate things, things shortly to happen and things that will happen at the end of this world when He comes for His elect saints. (all his people).
At His return, all are gathered, all His people in Heaven and all His people on earth to Him, no one is left behind.
Mark 13
The Great Tribulation
14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ [f]spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter. 19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
21 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. 22 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the [g]elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
The Coming of the Son of Man
24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His [h]elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
The Parable of the Fig Tree
28 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that [i]it is near—at the doors! 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
No One Knows the Day or Hour
32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All these scriptures teach us about the same second coming, Christ comes visibly and bodily for His church, and every eye shall see Him coming on the clouds of heaven. The time of the end is a dangerous time, much evil things are occurring, we are warned that he who endures to the end in faith shall be saved. Jesus warns us people will fall away and betray one another, but they are not his elect who will be saved, God knows those who are His and let everyone who calls on His name, turn away from iniquity.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hebrews 9:27-28
New King James Version
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Great Apostasy

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of [a]Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the [d]mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only [e]He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Stand Fast

13 But we are [f]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through [g]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our [h]epistle.

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and [i]establish you in every good word and work.

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple

5 Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was [c]adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, 6 “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

7 So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”

8 And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ [d]Therefore do not [e]go after them. 9 But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. 12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will [f]answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or [g]resist. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.

The Destruction of Jerusalem

20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Coming of the Son of Man

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

The Parable of the Fig Tree

29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

The Importance of Watching

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with [h]carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may [i]be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

37 And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet. 38 Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again the above, Jesus speaks of a more immediate judgment to come to the jews, and a farther off future when He comes again.
He always warns us to be on our watch so this means some will not be prepared, they will fall away from the faith.
Like the foolish virgins, they will be shut out from the presence of Christ when He comes as they were not prepared. The door into heaven will shut on them. And Christ says He does not know them. They had no real relationship together with Him.
Jesus also describes his coming here and when He comes He judges the whole world, all the nations.
The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [a]is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour [b]in which the Son of Man is coming.
The Parable of the Talents
14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25 and more are proof there is no split rapture-second coming, there is no two resurrection's, one of the just then 1000 years later one of the unjust.
There is only the second coming of Christ at which time HE raises all the dead, judges the whole world in righteousness.
Paul and Christ warns us of great deception, people of the end times will not endure sound doctrine., they will turn their ears away from the truth to believe cleverly designed fables.
Acts 17
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
2 Timothy 4
New King James Version
Preach the Word
4 I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Matthew 25
The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
......
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
