Well, I do not point to Rome when mentioning the Revelation 17 Babylon Harlot.
To do so is a doctrine from men, especially by the 16th century Protestant Reformers who thought the Antichrist was in Rome in their day. (And I am a Protestant, descended from the first French Protestants in France called Huguenots.)
The Babylon Harlot of Revelation 17 is about endtime Jerusalem fallen in false worship when the coming false-Messiah is setup there in place of Christ; i.e., "great tribulation" timing (2 Thessalonians 2).
You are using the levitical calendar. When the Jews escaped slavery in Egypt, Moses/God set that up as the first year. (No year zero kinda sets that count to be slightly off but since now it's 5,700+ years....it's quibbling over insignificant sums)
Then there's all the "time" that came before that with the post flood era of mankind. Which includes Shem, Ham and Japeth.... Abraham and Isaac leading to Jacob and the 12+ tribes. Then all the years spent in Egypt.
Then the pre-flood era of mankind.
So....
The levitical calendar is also a Lunar calendar and not Solar. It sets things straight by every so often an entire 13th month is inserted into the calendar year.
So....the Jewish calendar is correct to start the nation of Israelites wandering in the wilderness/Desert after leaving Egypt.
The creation of the Earth and the Humans that inhabit the earth is a guess at best due to Jewish "fuzzy" math (They subtract years for some calculations) AND an extremely limited and overly brief biblical record which is literal and symbolic all at the same time.
So..
The entire lifespan of humans on the planet and the age of the planet itself?
Well over 6,000 years. How much older?
I absolutely know for a fact that NOBODY KNOWS.

No worries here. But your advice needs to be applied to Protestant Churches too that go astray, particularly those who wrongly teach the devil's false pre-trib rapture theory.

I am in full agreement my friend . Many protestants are in deadly and dire danger themselves .
It is like watching two sisters . Protestentalina and catholina and they b oth in competition now
to see who can be the greatest of all harlots . you dont know how that breaks my heart to have to say it .
But say it i must . We are on our own my f riends . I aint saying every church is fallen
BUT ME oh my many have . We got full grown and fully developed wolves that now lead this people
to their own destruction .
And while i darn sure do NOT support pre trib , BELEIVE YOU ME
they do much much worse by far than this mere teaching . Folks is kissing korans and holding rainbows
and calli ng all sorts of evil good and good evil . IT just is not l ooking good at all my friend .
BUT warn and remind we must . DO all for the sake of the peoples no matter how much they hate you .
For if we love them we must warn them to flee all appearance of evil .

we had seen this great city is the city where our LORD was crucified . YES IT IS JERSUALEM .
And that wicked dark RCC is the one who has been working

to set up the religion of all false religoins that will indeed be centered RIGHT IN JERUSALEM .

and many more within are being led to the lie . The merger of satan and his anti christ via INTERFAITH .
people better watch out . The devil darn sure knows how to make a cause seem GOOD for humanity
but its meant only FOR THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION .
The theory that the livitical calendar started with Moses and that was ground zero couldn't possibly be even close to right as that was only about 3,500 years ago, give or take 100 years.

Still, I implore you to look at the Scriptures deeper on that idea. Study Ezekiel 16 where God gives a summary about the history of Jerusalem, and the times it fell into idol worship by Israel. That is where God applied the original 'harlot' city idea, to Jerusalem in a fallen state.
So what are we at the end of this world warned about regarding Jerusalem? It is end time Jerusalem where the false-Messiah that Lord Jesus and Apostle Paul specifically warned us that will appear there and exalt himself in place of God. That won't be a pope, because the orthodox Jews that still reject Lord Jesus as Messiah are still waiting for the Messiah of The Old Testament prophecies, not a Christian pope, no matter how badly fallen away a pope can be.

That inter-faith movement is also happening in some Protestant Churches too. I saw a Chicago newspaper clipping many years ago with a photo of in a certain Protestant Church, where three Buddhist monks were standing in front of the communion table of Christ, and chanting mantras.
Satan's host are doing those type multi-religion demonstrations to brainwash Christian brethren into accepting 'all' religions as being equal. That way when the coming false-Messiah shows up, he will be presented as the God of whatever religion one follows. The so-called secret initiate fraternities have long since been teaching that very all-religions-are-equal idea in their lodges for centuries, in prep for the coming false-Messiah. At present, world leaders are trying to get international legislation passed that even if one says anything negative about another religion it can land that one in jail.

but what i am saying is
That christendom has followed the same pattern AS SUCH A HARLOT
it has largely abandoned GOD and it darn sure does the WORK of THAT HARLOTS religoin of intefaith .
Where i first spied it coming from was THE VATICAN RCC
but lets get real , THE JEWISH ST ATE of ISRAEL is so far advanced on this interfaith it would make your head spin .
EVEN grown imams of the false relgioin of ISLAM have bowed to it , IN LARGE the mainstream has . NOT the extremists .
AS have THE OTHER false relgoins and worse as has much of christendom .

Yes, and it will all culminate in Jerusalem at the end, with the unbelieving Jews setting up the coming false-Messiah there as king. It will be the false one that Apostle Paul pointed to in Jerusalem at the end per 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9. Lord Jesus in Matthew 24:23-26 also was pointing to that specific pseudo-Christ at Jerusalem, even though most English Bible translations rendered it as plural "false Christs".
I strongly believe that coming false-Messiah will be Satan himself, right here, on earth, working those great signs and wonders to deceive the whole world. Many brethren fail to understand just what it was that Satan did at his original fall in the old world prior this present world we are in, when he coveted God's Throne which it was his job to guard. Satan's return to try and sit upon Christ's throne again on earth and deceive the whole world into believing he is God is what all this end time stuff is about. Most are not prepared for it.

But 5,785 is far from 3,500. They would have had to have taken the number of years Adam was alive and that whole geneology from Adam to Noah.
3760 years BCE is the first year according to Exodus 12:2.
Let me explain something real quick here.
You either did EXACTLY AND PRECISELY what Moses said to do or else you died. They had 40 years of wandering in the desert to figure out that rule. And whining/grumbling about what Moses said was not an option either.
So when Moses said that the first year was the Exodus year....you did not stray from that regardless of your feelings about it or what some lunatic says today about it all.
Hebrew numbering systems are kinda off in a lot of ways. Nobody has a year "zero" or anything like that so that's not odd. But if you are Jewish you NEVER count the first of anything. You begin counting at two. You don't write it, you don't count it, you do not measure it or anything else. Because it's God's. You do NOT touch God's stuff unless you have express written consent to do so. Especially God's chair/Ark. Doing so gets you dropped dead in a flash.
Many people seen this happen first hand. They did not play games with it.
The Old Covenant was brutal in some aspects. Also full of promises and blessings.
