Then who is responsible for all of the other deaths if medical errors only account for 0.074% annually of the USA population. The number of people of the total population who are presently dying each year is around 1% such that, if my math is correct, then medical errors only account for around 7.4% of those who die each year.

It seems to me that the statistics is being exaggerated and that there needs to be a level of acceptance that all people are not perfect in their jobs and that they do their jobs to the best of their ability.
