It’s not an excuse. God knows what you are and what you aren’t.
It is an excuse. It's an argument from authority. Well, he's the chief, so...

God doesn’t need anyone’s permission to destroy the wicked. It’s the wicked who accuse God when he acts against them.
And yet he seems reluctant to do so in the modern age. Almost like the Greek gods who disappeared as knowledge about the world increased. God destroys people in the OT. But he lets Kim live in comfort.

You have a problem with God’s authority; the created rebelling against the creator. You sound like the devil.

”Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, ‘Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.’”

I have a problem with the idea that God can do whatever he wants and no one will be willing to call him out on it. You're in no position to ever speak again about morality.

Excuses. Where is your God? Why does he allow so of this evil to fester when he could wipe it out? You have np excuse. Either your god exists or he does not, and I must say that I find the evidence for him not existing to be overwhelming.

You’re willing. The devil is willing. Billions of people are willing to call God out.

God always acts in accordance with his character.

You're in no position to ever speak again about morality.

The Bible speaks about morality. The wise will listen to it.

You aren’t an agnostic any more. You’re an atheist.

But not you.

Except when it's inconvenient.

Yeah, I think that's the side of the board I landed on.

Goodnight.

I know you’re at enmity with the one true God and, if that doesn’t change, you’re going to be destroyed in the lake of fire.
Let explain something for you here.

Your approach in convincing @Riven to turn back from their doubt in Jesus is having the opposite effect. Do you not notice what happens to the people you engage with, who are questioning the legitimacy of ideals like hell.

Just like anyone else, he has to be convinced in his own mind. That’s his responsibility, not mine. He wasn’t following Jesus before I spoke with him and he isn’t following Jesus after I’ve spoken with him. That’s up to him.

Do you not notice what happens to the people you engage with, who are questioning the legitimacy of ideals like hell.

Sure I do. Some people are persuaded and some people aren’t. Some people will be saved and some people will remain lost. That’s the nature of apologetics and evangelism.

A divine mind would object to animal sacrifice,

Pointing to the real sacrifice, a part of Himself.

Jesus dying for your sins.

False, read the Exodus

Ex 2:23 During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God.
Ex 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Ex 2:25 God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.

Dash the babies heads against the rocks?

That was not God who said that.

A dinosaur is pale in comparison to what the creator has offered, in addition to his love.
But what is love without a dinosaur? I thought that was the meaning to this life.

You are right.

It's because we live in a fallen creation.

But our temporarily lives here are just a fraction of eternity.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The promise.

I don't think love has anything to do with inner workings of the universe. Although love is a observable phenomena in animal's across the species, it is not demonstrated to act upon nature and the universe like a constant does: Physical constant | Definition, Examples & Units | Britannica

There's a difference. When people assume that God is love and therefore the universe and it's beginning must also be created by love, then I have to disagree. Of course love is something that we are able to observe in human nature, but the universe functions by a far larger set of conditions. Has anyone discovered the love particle yet? You know what I mean?
