Does "all" mean all? Yes or no?
`all` who are dead and IN the grave. The B/C and OT saints are in the third heaven.

`...to the church of the first-born.....and to the spirits of just men...` (Heb. 12: 22 & 23)

`even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus...` (1 Thess. 4: 14)

The bride of Christ, the New Jerusalem is there in the third heaven for God has built it. (Heb. 11: 10 12: 22) And the OT saints are the just/righteous men (& women) of Heb. 11. Their spirits are in the third heaven. (Heb. 12: 23 `the spirits of just/righteous men made perfect.` )

Jesus said there are 2 TYPES of resurrections -

`..those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.` (John 5: 29)
For all peoples, at the same time, at the same hour
Which occurs when Christ returns to judge the world.

John 5
26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

On the appointed DAY, Christ comes again a second time to raise the dead and judge the world

30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

For all to be judged they must all be resurrected and stand before God. This includes both the just and the unjust, all are present at the judgment.

Paul teaches the same thing, the judgment of both living and dead happens at Christ's appearing and kingdom, all are witness and present.

Paul in this same chapter warns us that others will turn their ears away from this truth, to believe fables, and you see this today in the things they say about the resurrection and judgment .

I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead [b]at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

All who are bodily dead, regarding the resurrection on the Last Day in that hour, speaks nothing about where they are spiritually. This is in reference to them all being bodily raised from the dead. That is what the resurrection on the Last Day is about, raising all the dead, and them standing before God to be judged in a 'physical body', not a 'spiritual body'.
John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
John 6:47
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
John 5:24
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Living believers at the return are caught up to be with Him and given glorified bodies.
Not all believers die before the return of Christ.

The Last Day resurrection includes just and unjust together, their spirits put back into a physical body.
The just experience the resurrection to life and a glorified body.
The unjust experience the resurrection of condemnation and then to be cast into the lake of fire, they are not glorified together with Christ as they did not believe in Him and were judged unworthy of eternal life.

Only believers are judged worthy of eternal life, for the unbelieving, the wrath of God rests on them, and they go into eternal punishment.
But the righteous inherit the Kingdom of their Father.

Prophecy and the Parables

34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:

“I will open My mouth in parables;
I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

The Parable of the Tares Explained

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”

37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

I know you don't seem to like what the scripture actually says, so criticize that not me as I quoted the scripture.

Paul was arrested as Paul was a chosen to be an apostle and really Christ arrests - teaches- persuades all He has foreknown as His.
The scripture points us to a person.
That person is bigger that his book.
All your verses are right on target.

Jesus is salvation.
His book points us to him.
Correct?

Hi Scott,

The Body of Christ and the Old Testament saints are NOT in the grave. They are in the third heaven with Christ. (Heb. 12: 22 & 23)

No wonder you were so slow to answer a simple question. Suspect that you know you're twisting Scripture.

If their bodies are in the graves then they are going to be raised at the general resurrection when Jesus comes - fact. After all, He tells us that all that are in the graves are coming out. There are no exceptions - saved or lost. You must redefine the literal meaning of sacred words to sustain Pretrib in passage after passage.

Jesus taught in John 5:24-29: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

The B/C and OT saints`s physical bodies are IN the graves BUT their souls and spirits are NOT in the graves. God`s word tells us where they are - in the third heaven.

` You have come to Mount Zion... to the General Assembly and to the church of the first-born.....and to the spirits of just men...` (Heb. 12: 22 & 23)

Hello! ALL the DEAD redeemed are in heaven. ALL the WICKED are in hell. BUT ALL their BODIES will rise when Jesus comes.

Your fight is with Jesus and the NT writers on this. Stop manipulating the truth.

Glad you see the redeemed in heaven. Now Jesus said `all in the graves,` not all in hell.

It matters not whether their spirits are in hell or heaven, all the bodies of all mankind will be raised when Jesus comes. That is what He teaches. Your fight is with Scripture here.

read Isiah 2 and 11 and Micha 4
Why do you have the last days occurring after Christ's second coming instead of between the first and second comings of Christ?

Hi Scott,

The Body of Christ and the Old Testament saints are NOT in the grave. They are in the third heaven with Christ. (Heb. 12: 22 & 23)
When you say this you deny the future resurrection of all people, the just and the unjust
Fact is that is a grievous ERROR to suggest the resurrection is past, people need to think before they type comments

14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. 15 I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection [a]of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. 16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of [a]Christ depart from iniquity.”
