But with evidence from God`s word. Anyone can accuse or call out as you say, but it is harder to prove from God`s word for that takes `rightly dividing the word of truth.` (2 Tim. 2: 15) And that you need to quote scripture not your own thoughts.

You are assuming I am avoiding, when I am not aware of such. You need to quote and show where I am avoiding so I can see.

Start by answering the questions i presented one by one.

The `end.` Greek `telos` - to set out for a definite point or goal.
The word telos means the termination, completion or that by which a thing is finished.

The `end.` Greek `telos` - to set out for a definite point or goal.
According to Scripture:
  • What was introduced at the beginning will be concluded at the end. One is the antithesis of the other. All of time and history can be found in between these two particular events.
  • The Greek word eschatos means end, last, farthest or final. The word telos means the termination, completion or that by which a thing is finished.
  • Scripture identifies “the end” with “the coming of the Lord” when Jesus arrives in majesty and glory.
  • Scripture shows “the last day” to also be the day when Jesus returns.
  • You will never understand the nature and extent of “the last day” (singular) until you understand the nature and extent of “the last days” (plural).
  • The Lord always rescues His people before pouring out His final judgment upon man.
  • The description that accompanies the Lord’s return is fiery comprehensive, and sudden. No one survives.
  • There will be a connection between the glorification of man and the glorification of creation at the end, just like there was a connection between the Fall of man and the Fall of creation at the beginning.
  • To inherit the incorrupt age to come, God has to suitably change us into incorrupt beings. Basically, He is going to perfect us so that we are qualified to inherit the perfect world to come.

You need to have all of God`s word on the topic to back that up. The first meaning was - to set out for a point or goal. 1 Cor. 15: 24 tells us -

`...when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.` (1 Cor. 15: 24)

And that is over time.

1. `The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ...` (Rev. 11: 15)

2. Babylon is fallen, (judged. (Rev. 18: 21)

3. The armies of the beast killed by the Lord. (Rev. 19: 19, 21)

4. The beast and the false prophet and those who worshipped the image were all sent to the Lake of fire. (Rev. 19: 20)

5. Satan contained for a thousand years. (Rev. 20: 2)

6. Those who followed Satan at the end of the thousand years were cast into the Lake of fire. (Rev. 20: 10)

7. Those at the Great White Throne who turned from God as shown by their works cast into the Lake of Fire. (Rev. 20: 11 - 15)

You are always adding unto Scripture. There are no mentions of your imaginary future 7 years trib or imaginary future 1000 years kingdom in 1 Corinthians 15:12-14, 21-24. That is because it will never happen. Christ coming is the end.

Please note the blue and green coloring here. See the climactic detail that accompanies Jesu return.

This sin-cursed world, this fallen state, the curse, are not going to go on forever. They have a shared expiration date. Sin and sinners, dying and crying, the curse and corruption, disease and decay, the devil and his demons, will all be brought to a sudden conclusion together. This will also bring a closure to time. This all occurs at the climatic return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the moment when everything is brought to a sudden glorious climax.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-18: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus here indeed connects the passing away of heaven and earth with the fulfilment of all the prophecies of the Messiah made by Moses and the prophets. This supports the Amil position which holds that the heavens and earth pass away at the second coming when Jesus comes.

Jesus says of His coming in Matthew 24:35-44: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming [Gr. parousia] of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming [Gr. parousia] of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

The removal of the current heaven and earth is here connected to the coming of the Lord. After telling us that “heaven and earth shall pass away” Jesus immediately tells us: “of that day and hour knoweth no man.” This final day that is approaching is coming unexpectedly. This fits in with the “thief in the night” scenario found elsewhere in Scripture. It would seem to confirm that the day that Christ returns is the day when the current corrupt natural order (both the creature and creation) is gloriously changed. The wicked and all corruption are destroyed when Jesus comes. The Lord here identifies the passing away of “heaven and earth” with “the coming of the Son of man.”

1 Corinthians 15:12-14, 21-24, asking, “how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain…But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming [Gr. parousia]. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”

The “coming” of the Lord, described in this reading, is here carefully located at “the end.” In fact, the whole tenure of the passage is distinctly pointing to a climactic time in history when God separates believers from unbelievers, each experiences diverse fates. One is delivered up, the other is eternally put down. This is the final division of righteousness and wickedness forever. It is the occasion approaching when Christ finally presents “up the kingdom to God” and will have, as He promised, “put down all rule and all authority and power.” Simultaneously, the glorification of the kingdom of God sees the destruction of the kingdom of darkness. It is the end-game for Satan and the conclusion of his evil efforts to obstruct the plan of God for mankind. Wickedness has finally and eternally been abolished.

I see NO scriptures there.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-5:9 declares: “if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming [Gr. parousia] of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain ‘shall be caught up’ [Gr. harpazō] together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Please see here: “the coming of the Lord” and “the day of the Lord” are shown to refer to the same climactic day. This is the end! Jesus comes on the “day of the Lord” as a “thief in the night.” He rescues His people, but equally His appearing sees the “sudden” and total “destruction” of the wicked: “they shall not escape.” There is no suggestion of survivors. None are in the passage.

The Holy Spirit could hardly have made this clearer: “they shall not escape.” This totally negates the whole Pretrib and Premil paradigm of countless wicked mortals saturating the new earth.

If the day of the Lord here relates to a third coming, as most Pretribbers argue, and they relate this to the event of Revelation 19, then why is this describing the wicked, who are experiencing the 7 years tribulation, as declaring “Peace and safety”? Surely this is a period of the wrath of God being poured out on all those left behind according to Pretrib theology?

2 Thessalonians 1:7-12, 2:1-7 shows that the “gathering” (i.e. catching away) of the saints occurs at “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” It states: And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed [Gr. apokalupsis] from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming [Gr. parousia] of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our ‘gathering together’ [Gr. episunagoge– originating from episunago] unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ [rendered “the day of the Lord” elsewhere in the New Testament] is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth (or restraineth) that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth (or restraineth) will let, until he be taken ‘out of the way’ [Gr. ek mesos]. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming [Gr. parousia].”

Once again “the coming of our Lord” and “the day of the Lord” are shown to refer to the same concluding day of time. Paul is encouraging the Church here to remain strong and steadfast as they await the coming of the day of the Lord. This day, that comes unexpectedly as a thief in the night, will catch the wicked unprepared. He tells the Thessalonians not to be “soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us.” This would suggest that there would be times of trial and tribulation to endure before this great climactic event. What is more, it is an approaching event that the Church was to prepare for, because: “the day of the Lord is at hand (or enistemi meaning impending).”

We should carefully note that this is the time when the Church is gathered unto the Lord. The coming (parousia) of the Lord witnesses the gathering of the saints – dead and alive. The dead in Christ are resurrected; the alive in Christ are caught up. The phrase “gathering together” is taken from the Greek word episunagoge proving that the Church isn't raptured until the one final coming of Christ at the day of the Lord.

This is sudden, climactic and totally destructive. It sees God rescuing His elect and destroying the wicked.

I see NO scriptures there.
2 Peter 3:3-13 tells us: “there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming [Gr. parousia]? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

There is nothing ambiguous about this passage. It is a clear literal straightforward passage that is devoid of the much symbolism that attends the detail of Revelation.

How can anyone survive this? They cannot! It's impossible! Well, the second coming is the end for the wicked, the righteous inherit the new heavens and new earth; not some suppose future thousand years that is polluted by sin, sinners, Satan, death and ongoing corruption. The appearing of Christ spells the end for all unrighteousness. Anything that is not glorified is consumed. Peter demonstrates here that when Jesus comes back the heavens, earth and all that is on the earth, and the elements are going to dissolve. His glory and unchallenged reign will be set up on the new renewed earth.

I am NOT adding but bringing out many scriptures relating to the topic as we should do.

1. Note the word `TILL.` That connects to the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets. There is much there to write about as to how the Lord will fulfill what is written in His word.

2. The `one left` is left where?

3. The B/C is told that we are not in darkness that this day should overtake us as a thief. (1 Thess. 5: 5) And Jesus is now at the right hand of the Father so He is equal, in unity and of the same mind. He does know now when the Father will send Him. He is not in darkness.

The Day of the Lord there is the period of time, the trib. It is NOT the specific day which is for the rebellious. (Rev. 6: 12 - 17)

`in which the heavens and earth pass away...` ( 2 Peter 3: 10) The Day of the Lord - time period and later specific Day. The Greek has the two meanings and scriptures reveal this. (Joel 2: 2 2 & 2 Rev. 6: 12 - 17)

And thank you for your scriptures. Now we need to look at the OT scriptures concerning the fulfillment of what the Law and prophets said.

`in which the heavens and earth pass away...` ( 2 Peter 3: 10) The Day of the Lord - time period and later specific Day. The Greek has the two meanings and scriptures reveal this. (Joel 2: 2 2 & 2 Rev. 6: 12 - 17)

These texts are climactic. They describe the end. It is over here. There is no space for your supposed future seven year tribulation, and your supposed future thousand years. None of the prophets mentioned such a Pretrib invention. They belong to the Left Behind novels. You have to force that into the text because it does not exist. Your teachers have misinformed you.

What are you talking about? This is all gibberish.

These texts are climactic. They describe the end. It is over here. There is no space for your imaginary future seven year tribulation, and your imaginary future thousand years. None of the prophets mentioned such a Pretrib invention. They belong to the Left Behind novels. You have to force that into the text because it does not exist. Your teachers have misled you.
It is gibberish to you for you do not know God`s word correctly. let`s have a look why.

First - the Hebrew and Greek word `day` means a specific day AND a period of time.

You seem only to know the specific Day of the Lord. (Rev. 6: 12 - 17) However, God`s word reveals that the Day of the Lord is also a period of time. let`s look t God`s word on this.

`Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand: a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains, a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for successive generations....

Now, therefore," says the LORD, "Turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.".....Then the LORD will be zealous for His land and pity His people..

.I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, his face towards the eastern sea and his back towards the western sea; his stench will come up. and his four odour will rise, because he has done monstrous things." (Joel 2: 1,2 12, 18, 20)

Then we read further on of God bringing ALL the nations down to the valley of Jehoshaphat and entering into judgment with them there.

`I will gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my people, my heritage Israel,...` (Joel 3: 2)

Then we learn that the nations that are left after the judgment will go up to Jerusalem to learn the ways of the Lord and do not learn war anymore.

`Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD`s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, "Come and let up go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us of His ways, and we shall walk in His paths."

For out of Zion the Law shall go forth and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many peoples, and rebuke strong nations afar off; they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; Nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.` (Micah 4: 1 - 3)

All in the Day of the Lord - period of time.

You are misinterpreting the Word of God and the meaning of the day of the Lord. Scripture shows the day of the Lord to be the end. I gave you various NT Scripture that interprets and applies the predictions of the OT prophets that show the second coming to be the end. It is the last or final day. You duck around that. That's because it forbids your position. Micah 4 (like Isa 2) is unfolding now. It refers to "the last days." They began with Christ and will end when Jesus returns. Joel 2: 1,2 12, 18, 20 is a warning to people to prepare for God's final day, not a record of people surviving the return of Christ on the earth. You are butchering God's Book at every turn. You have nothing to bring to the table that mentions your supposed future seven year tribulation or your supposed future thousand years.

You are manipulating the Word of God. You are cobbling Scripture together to support your Pretrib error. Scripture shows the day of the Lord to be the end. I gave you various NT Scripture that interprets and applies the predictions of the OT prophets that show the second coming to be the end. It is the last or final day. You cannot abide that. You cannot handle that. You duck around that. That's because it demolishes your error. Micah 4 (like Isa 2) is unfolding now. It refers to "the last days." And your scriptural proof to show that those scriptures are NOT what I showed from God`s word?

WPM you seem to rant and rave but not be able to show that the scriptures are not as I posted.

I just rebutted your interpretation of those OT texts and you ignored it.

Please address my counter-arguments, if you can.

LOL. I just rebutted your interpretation of those OT texts and you ignored it.

Please address my counter-arguments, if you can.
They are just your opinions. You need to use scripture to back up scripture or to show where the person`s interpretation of that scripture is wrong.

Anyone can go on and on about their opinions but that is just opinion.

Firstly, and most importantly, the Holy Spirit locates Isaiah 2:2-4 and Micah 4:1-3 for us. There is therefore no requirement for us to speculate on its fulfilment. They occur in “the last days.”

Scriptures show that the last days commenced at Christ's first coming. It shows that they terminate at Christ's second coming. This climactic event is known as “the last day.”

Hebrews 1:1-2 declares, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son.”

The Incarnation inaugurated the final era of God’s great plan of salvation for mankind. The introduction the kingdom of heaven to this earth at that time by Christ instigating the great global outreach, as predicted in Isaiah 2 and Micah 4. We are not therefore waiting on the Gospel going to the nations, this began nearly 2,000 years ago when Christ commissioned the Church to “go and make disciples of all nations.”

Hebrews 9:26 also says, now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”

The last days commenced with the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ of which these passage provides indisputable proof.

1 Peter 1:19-20 also confirm that, “Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world … was manifest in these last times for you.”

Peter declared in Acts 2:16-17, alluding to the happenings on the day of Pentecost, this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.”

John twice testified in I John 2:18, it is the last time (eschatos hōra or last hour).”

1 Corinthians 10:11 says, “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”

2 Timothy 3:1-9 highlights the stark decline that exists before the Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is certainly not speaking of period following the return of Christ. 2 Timothy 3:1 testifies: in the last days perilous (or hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce, savage) times shall come.” Christ’s return brings an end to all this rebellion and wickedness. He comes to ushering eternal righteousness.

2 Peter 3:3-13 speaks of the sceptics who are mocking and scoffing as to the actuality of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. It reads: there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?” (v4).

If the last days relate to a future millennium, why would they be scoffing at an event that already occurred? They are mocking an impending future event. They are mocking the very idea of the second coming. Manifestly the “last days” occur before the coming of Jesus. It relates to the period we are now in.

James 5:3 also alludes to the last days and places that period before Jesus return. He to shows the last days to be a time of greed and folly. The return of Christ brings an end to such rebellion.

These passages demonstrate that we are in the end times since Christ’s first Advent and that the last days don’t relate to another age after Christ’s appearing, as Premillennialism imagines. The “last days” clearly relate to the intra-Advent period and find their conclusion at the “last day” – Christ’s coming. I see the “last day” (singular) of the “last days” (plural) as the all-consummating appearing of Christ, which witnesses the total destruction of the world/wicked and a general resurrection / judgement. I believe Scripture shows that the “last days” (plural) terminate at the “last day” (singular) with the raising and judging of both the righteous (John 6:39-44, 54, 11:23-24) and the wicked (John 12:48). In all these references, the wording in the original for “last day” is always the same – eschatee heemara. The Greek word eschatee used here comes from the root word eschatos, from where we get our word English eschatology, and simply means end, last, farthest or final.

Whilst this prophecy was initially given to Judah and Jerusalem, which at the time was the exclusive place of God’s favour on this earth, I do not believe this prophecy is restricted to them. In fact, the detail embodied within this passage proves the contrary and the fact that Isaiah was speaking of a time when the Gentiles would join the Jews in the house of God. I believe that period started with the commission of the disciples nearly 2,000 years ago.

Of the many other passages mentioning “the last days" in Scripture, there is not one "last days" passage that is identified with the period after the second coming. They all relate to the Church in the here-and-now.

Firstly, ...
Firstly I was talking about the Day of the LORD being a specific Day, (we agree) and a period of time. Hebrew and Greek tell us this. I quoted Joel 2 and showed how it was the Day of the LORD period of time.

That is what you need to address. To show that Joel 2 is NOT about the Day of the LORD a period of time.
