Are you saying that the temptatation to reject or take the mark of the beast (MoB) is alot like the issue that Peter had in his temptation to deny or admit knowing Christ?
I agree!

But first, we must conclude that in the time of Peter's temptation, he had not yet received the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit.

[...]
Yes, you've got it! The problem is that at the moment, we have the Holy Spirit in Heaven, not on Earth. When the Abomination of Desolation is revealed, it is on Earth. We need to escape that and stand before the Son of Man (that is, as One).

The Bible says "woe to those who are on Earth" (when the Dragon comes) because you have to stand by your word to the death. Not everyone can do that. People that say "I just won't take the mark" aren't praying (the way Jesus said to).

Wake up! Our betrayer is at hand!

Although I do understand what you are saying, you are biblically misinformed as to where the Holy Spirit of God has been taking up His residence, ever since Jesus' resurrection. John 3:3-8; 2 Cor. 4:7.

I'm not asking people who haven't been converted, to pray; I'm asking those who have read Luke 21:36 and understood it by the Holy Spirit to be a command, to pray.

The faith is not a mountain that needs to be moved; the faith is a cloud that needs to be reminded it has already moved!

I understand!

Luke 21
[34] And [Christians] take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
[35] For as a snare** shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
[meaning every living person in that moment].

[36] Watch ye [Christians] therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

To "pray always" is to "walk/live in the Spirit" and not the flesh. To be alert, cognascent to what the Holy Spirit is teaching concerning the moment, along with the KJV Bible.

**Note:
"Snare"

Strong's Number - G3803
Greek: παγίς
Transliteration: pagis
Pronunciation: pag-ece'
Definition: From G4078; a trap (as fastened by a noose or notch); figuratively a trick or stratagem (temptation): - snare
KJV Usage: snare (5x).
Occurs: 5
In verses: 5

I do not believe the Mark of the beast is here yet, but we are being led into it gently. If Satan brought it out and demanded it immediately, ther world would stay away from him. Satan is trying to condition us for us, and also train the world to be accepting of his principles.

Rev 20:4: - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

I believe that this verse tells us that it is possible to have mark of Satan today. Remember that this verse describes the Saints who are already beheaded, who have not received Satan's mark upon their foreheads or on their hands, in around 20 years' time who will live and reign with Christ during the seventh age.

If these Saint have not received the mark of Satan, then it is possible even today to receive that mark because of our sins an turning away from worshipping Christ and instead beginning to worship Satan or the beasts.

Why then does Christine Legarde of the EU Central Bank promote it as such?
I would have you pay attention to what she said approx. 6 mos. ago.
Therefore, do not be blinded by humanistic governmental protections, when all along their economic intention is for a systemic global economic collapse, in order to usher in by mandate, their New Economic World Order.
This is all interesting but, how is the Mark, Name, or Number of the beast to be applies? Very specific it is- on the right hand or the forehead...it seems there will be a physical "mark"...?

I agree with you. I see no reason to not take the passage regarding the mark at face value.

It seems to me that people will be rounded up, stood before the image of the beast, those who won't worship are killed, and those who do are marked and released.

Much love!

Not necessarily in the way we think of 'worship'.

People 'worship' things without falling on their knees or praying

Examples:
a.) Cars/Trucks
b.) Houses/Homes
c.) Sports
d.) Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry
e.) food
f.) alcohol
g.) respect of persons = Trump, Obama, Clintons, movie stars, pastors, pope
h.) drugs
i.) Big pharma
j.) NASA
k.) SEX

and the WINNER for this 'christian' forum is = pre-trib rapture / man-made doctrines

My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, 3and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” 4have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

5Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?

8If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Worship has traditionally been associated with sacrifice as well.

Abraham concerning his going to sacrifice Issac as a burnt offering. 5.He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”

We can sacrifice many things, humans, animals, grains, money, comfort, shelter, our will, our liberty, our humanity, praise, adoration. It could be so many things.

Also, "Obedience is better than sacrifice." ( I know you know the script. lforrest, but putting it in for any who don't)
1 Samuel 15:22
"And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams."

Isn't sacrifice needed though? If we are a changed person, and God has given us so much grace to no longer even desire the old ways of life; then in a sense, we have done both- obeyed AND sacrificed! The things you did or, that were a part of your life, no longer matter at all, one step of faith in "obedience" and He made the road smooth! Praise God!

Thank you for your excellent post.

Since we cannot make or bring to our Heavenly FATHER any sacrifice that can absolve our sins, we must follow in the Faith of Abraham.

Abraham, the father of nations, did not seek to sacrifice his only son Isaac, for if he did it would be wickedness.

All sacrifices that are pleasing to God are they which God Himself calls upon individually from each of us.
However, God did not make man to be alone, and since sin entered into all men, all men must hear the Call of God to BELIEVE on the Sacrifice that HE Himself provides as the Remedy for Sin.

We SEE God doing this immediately with Adam & Eve after they sinned.
Their shame caused them to run and hide and to cover their nakedness in a futile but Prophetic attempt = FIG Leaves
God's great love for Adam & Eve, and for the world, Performed the must do Sacrifice HIMSELF as HE took the life of a Clean animal which Required the loss of its life even though the CLEAN animal had not been infected by SIN.
A&E watched their LORD Perform the task and then HE covered their nakedness with the skin of the sacrificial lamb.

This was the First Act of GRACE Performed by GOD for Sin that separated Mankind from his CREATOR, LORD and GOD

Next up is Cane and Abel where Abel, being instructed by his father Adam, brought to God the Required blood sacrifice,
the firstborn of the flock.
Some will argue that it was not blood but fat, to which the Spirit says; you can't get to the fat without the shedding of BLOOD

God was actively Painting a Picture of Redemption for us Beginning with Himself and then extending His Spirit thru these "holy men of God".

Which brings us to where i began this post with Abraham and Isaac

Now the Word of God came to Abraham = not vice versa = and Abraham obeyed and hurried to bring his only begotten son(thru Sarah) to the Place ascribed by the Lord.
By Faith in the Word, Abraham lifted the knife while his only son lay bound on the altar.
The Angel prevented Abraham from killing Isaac and as His Story Began with Adam and Eve = GOD Himself provides the Sacrifice for mankind
This is ULTRA Important = GOD Himself will Provide = HIMSELF

Likewise all whom the Father Calls HE brings to His Only Begotten Son = the LORD Jesus Christ = Slain from the Foundation of the World

Conclusion: All doctrines that do not conform to CHRIST and His words are unacceptable sacrifices = FIG leaves

FIG leaves = "seeking to establish our own righteousness"

Obedience could also be considered worship. We are afterall slaves to the one we obey. And sacrificing our freedom is a kind of worship.

Problem with humans though is we don't recognize this so easily. A demon can try to wedge themselves into even mundane aspects of our lives to try and eke-out a bit of control. This is why I believe it is a good idea to command them to be silent.

How this may apply to worshiping the beast, it is just another possibility. Worshipping the beast could be as simple as an oath.

The name of the Beast is for governments
The number of the Beast is for businesses
The mark of the Beast is for individuals.

The Beast is a Digital Global Economic Empire, which is not ruled by
any one nation's government,
any singular corporate business,
and no one/singular man.

@lforrest @Earburner here is your marriage contract = pray for understanding

And it is even MORE then that for to accept a digital mark can be forgiven but the Mark is far more invasive into the very nature of man made in the image of God = Blaspheming the Holy Spirit which can NEVER be forgiven.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

JESUS = Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed/received in his name

Yahshua 24:15 - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve;

There is no need for this foolish exchange of words.

I'll skip your quotes and follow what the Lord says in His Word.

Those claiming their words are on the same level as God's Word are the foolish ones who have been deceived.

If you were convinced that you were not going to take the mark, you would be angry that someone would suggest that your confidence might waver.

Bitter that you decided not to already, is something God will have to help you with, I guess.

I decided to never take the mark a few decades ago.

Your gaslighting is hilarious! Thanks for the laugh! funny.gif

Those that are convinced of something laugh at those who try to tell them they aren't actually convinced, and don't get angry.

The once that doubt their commitment or lack thereof are the ones that get angry

Obedience is compliance to the will of another, whether that be God, men, or fallen angels.

Those setting themselves in "compliance" are in fact worshiping the one with whom they have chosen to be in "compliance" with whether that be God, men, or fallen angels.

Romans 6:16
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Yes, if it's their own thought or words. But if it's God's word, His expressed thoughts to them then one doesn't want to reject the words of God no matter through who or how they are delivered.

God's words are His words. They are welcome here, that's for sure.
