Revelation is John conveying a message to millions of people over thousands of years with many different cultures and languages he has to do it in a way that we all understand his points not details
we all understand God uses SPECIFIC details that points us to CHRIST

Satan is not bound in prison today and has never been placed in the prison of Rev 20:1-3 = but soon he will

Satan does not have authority over us as we are in CHRIST.

#1 - This does not mean that there is no battle and spiritual warfare against satan and his fallen angels = 2 Corinthians 10:4

#2 - Currently, Satan remains the "god of this world/Age" and as such he can and does attack blood washed saints of GOD

Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Revelation 2:8-10
These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: 9“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Daniel 7:25

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.
Not true:

Scripture locates him in the abyss before the second coming thus exposing the non-corroborative Premil theory. In Revelation 9:10-11 the scorpion-like demonic host (that is shown to be currently incarcerated within the abyss) are said to have “a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

This can be none other than Satan. Strong's says: “Apolluon means a destroyer (i.e. Satan).” Before we go any further, it is worth noting, Jesus likened demons to scorpions in Luke 10:19.

Through his defeat, Satan fell from heaven (John 12:31 & Revelation 12:7-9) and is now present in the abyss (Revelation 9:1-11 & Revelation 20:3). The abyss is not a physical geographical place. After all, physical metal chains cannot hold spirits. It is a spiritual state of restraint for spirits now. Near the end, the beast will be released from his restraints and the “deadly wound” to his head will be “healed” (Revelation 13:3, 13:12 and 13:14). This tells us that he too was bruised like Satan’s head through the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

Just like Satan’s power and influence were curtailed through the life, death and first resurrection of Christ, so too was the beast’s. The fate of the two mirror each other. The reason is, the beast is dependent upon the power of Satan to do his evil. The beast is his envoy or enforcer. At the end Satan will be released from his restraint to empower the beast to subjugate the Church, curtail the Gospel expanse and deceive the nations again. There will be a suppression of the Gospel in the last of the last days. This will result in deep persecution. But the darkest days in history have always been the brightest days in history.

When Satan is released before the second coming for a little season then so is the beast, and Satan's minions. Satan is promised a freedom from restraint before the second coming, as is antichrist, and every demon. Scripture shows the abyss being opened near the end whereupon Satan and his demons are released from their spiritual restraint (Revelation 9:1-11 and Revelation 20:7). This parallels with the beast also rising from the abyss (Revelation 11:7 and Revelation 17:8). This corresponds with the restraint being taken off the mystery of iniquity in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 before Christ’s return.

The Word of God vs
The words of Satan.

The Word of God is omnipotent (John 1:1-4), omniscient and by the Spirit, omnipresent. Life is in Him (John 1:4).

Satan is none of those things. He is not "the opposite of God" just because he sets himself up in opposition to God.

Nor do his words have any power until his words are believed by human beings. Were his words not believed, he would have no power at all - ask Adam and Eve.

Believe me, there are many human beings who have continued to believe his words since the resurrection and ascension of Christ, till now. That's why Jesus called Satan "the ruler of this world"; and Paul called him "the prince of the power of the air who works in the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2), who we are told will give the beast and false prophet his seat, power and great authority (Revelation Chapter 13).

That's why the saints are warned to be weary of his wiles and to resist him, and to put on the full armor of God because "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood" (John 12:31; 1 Peter 5:8-9; Ephesians 6:11-12; Revelation 2:9-10 & Revelation 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; James 4:7 ).

Revelation Chapters 12-13 portray this current status quo as spanning the entire present Age and culminating in the beast's war against the saints in Revelation Chapter 13 (see Revelation 13:7).

Ephesians 2:2 tells us about Satan's influence over the societies of this world, this Age. So how can he be bound from deceiving the nations? Where is this "inability" of Satan to deceive the nations through his words which set themselves up in opposition to the Word of God that you speak of? He has that ability for as long as human beings give his lies that power by rejecting the Word of God and believing Satan's lies - until God binds him and throws him into the abyss and sets a seal on him.

Also, why do you believe Satan is the opposite of God in power and ability so that he would need to be bound in order for the Holy Spirit's power to be able to work in the hearts and minds of human beings calling them to salvation in Christ through the gospel? Isn't that assertion blasphemous? Satan has no power to stop the works of God and the work of the Holy Spirit calling individuals to salvation in Christ.
  1. Satan is a spiritual being.
  2. Spiritual chains restraint spiritual beings in Scripture.
  3. Revelation is saturated in figurative language.
  4. There is NO other Scripture that corroborates the Premillennial interpretation of Revelation 20 that Satan will be bound for a time-span of 1000 years after the Second Advent then released for a "little season" to deceive the nations, and then destroyed.
  5. Scripture teaches that Satan has already fell from heaven and now present in the Abyss (John 12:31-33 and Revelation 12:9-13). Peter 2:4, Jude v 6 and Revelation 9:1-11 shows the demonic world in a current spiritually bound condition in the abyss.
  6. Matthew 12:22-29, Mark 3:11, 23-27, Luke 10:18-19, Luke 11:20-22, John 12:31-33 Colossians 2:13-15, Hebrews 2:14-15, I John 3:8, Revelation 9:1-11, Revelation 12:7-9 and Revelation 20:2 prove Satan was cast out, bound, defeated, incapacitated, divested of power, disarmed, brought to naught, undone, stripped and spiritually imprisoned through Christ's sinless life, atoning death and triumphant resurrection. Colossians 2:15 tells us: “having spoiled (or divested or disarmed) principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
  7. The binding of Satan has nothing to do with rendering Satan completely powerless, immobile or inoperative. It is rather to do with a restraint on his activities compared to what he was able to do in Old Testament. It is the limiting of his power, kingship and influence by His defeat 2000 years ago. He is like a dog on a chain. He is shackled. It describes the spoiling of the devil’s house, the destroying of his works, taking the power of death away from him, and as a result, it is the shining of a light on the darkened ignorant nations and the lifting of the deception blinding the Gentiles from embracing Christ.

In your post that i responded to you excused/denied the REALITY of Matthew 19:28-30

The pattern of denying/excusing or just doubting clear Truth spoken by God is the framework by which all false doctrines are generated.
  1. Do you believe Satan and his minions are physical beings?
  2. Is the dragon in Revelation 20:2 a literal physical dragon?
  3. Is the serpent in Revelation 20:2 a literal physical serpent?
  4. Do you believe Satan literally has 7 heads and 7 necks?
  5. Is the key mentioned in Revelation 20:1 a literal metal door key?
  6. Is the chain mentioned in Revelation 20:1 a literal metal chain?
  7. Is the prison mentioned in Revelation 20:7 a literal brick prison?
  8. Do you believe demons need to be detained in a literal physical prison with literal metal chains in order to be restrained?
  9. Can a prisoner in a prison have great wrath while in chains?
  10. Does imprisonment mean immobility?
  11. Does it mean a prisoner cannot do harm?
  12. Can a dog on a chain walk or roam about?
  13. Can a prisoner in a prison walk or roam about?
  14. Can a prisoner deceive others in prison?
  15. Does a prisoner have the ability to kill, steal, destroy, rape and embezzle in prison?
  16. When the Bible talk about the wicked being bound in chains do you believe these are literal physical chains?
  17. When the Bible talk about the wicked being imprisoned do you believe they are all in literal physical brick prisons?

Revelation Chapters 12-13 portray this current status quo as spanning the entire present Age and culminating in the beast's war against the saints in Revelation Chapter 13 (see Revelation 13:7).

Ephesians 2:2 tells us about Satan's influence over the societies of this world, this Age. So how can he be bound from deceiving the nations? Isn't that assertion blasphemous? Satan has no power to stop the works of God and the work of the Holy Spirit calling individuals to salvation in Christ.
Paul the Apostle said to the Galatians believers in Galatians 3:7-9, “know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham (in Genesis 12:1-3, 17:5-6, 18:18, 22:15-18), saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”

The nations that were once saturated in complete heathenism and gross idolatry, knowing nothing of the grace of God and the need of repentance, would now receive the Gospel through the Cross of Christ. Surely the Premillennialist would not attempt to suggest that this passage is alluding to every single person in every single nation throughout the world at that time? Nor, could they say that this reference to the “nations” (plural) was meant to encompass the natural “nation” (singular) of Israel, which up until the cross was the sole national custodian of the grace of God.

It is manifestly clear from the actual testimony of this specific reading that the Church had now entered into a new dispensation, a period in which the good news of salvation was to be offered to the Gentiles. No longer would the pagan nations of the world be drowned in complete darkness and be utterly deceived by the devil, as before. The de-blindfolding of the Gentiles (or nations) therefore unquestionably coincided with the binding of the devil’s previous extensive power; the historic defining moment being Christ’s devil defeating transaction at Calvary. Galatians 3:13-14 says,Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles [Gr. ethnos] through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

Calvary was the central transaction that caused the Gentiles to receive the glorious Gospel of Christ. That cruel event graciously precipitated the liberation of “the (once wholly blinded) nations” causing notable hurt (as predicted in Genesis 3:15) to the plans of the devil and his once overwhelming hold upon the heathen. The purpose and effect of Christ’s dying unquestionably enabled the Gospel to spread to “the Gentiles” and allowed “the blessings of Abraham” and “the promise of the Spirit” to become a real possession of “the nations.”

Satan was bound (or spiritually curtailed) in order to facilitate the invasion of his territory by the Gospel. Remember, Satan is a spiritual being; he must therefore be spiritually bound. That is what happened through the earthly ministry of Christ, the cross and the first resurrection of Jesus. Countless millions of Gentiles have come to Christ since that.

Does this passage suggest there is no more darkness in this world any longer? Does this mean everyone is now enlightened? Of course not! This is a spiritual generality. This is common in Scripture. It is demonstrating the powerful result of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. This is testifying of the massive change that occurred with the global assault upon the kingdom of darkness. This is showing the impact of the success of the great commission. Men throughout the nations are now without excuse. The truth has been spread to the uttermost parts of the earth. This is saying the exact same as Revelation 20:2.

Just because most don't believe doesn't mean the blindfold of ignorance has not been removed with the global preaching of the Gospel. Just because you and I are enlightened doesn't mean sin doesn't exist within us. Your reasoning therefore doesn't add up.

Satan can no longer prevent the Gospel light going out to the nations. The Gentiles have therefore no excuse. They who were once “without God in the world” before the cross can now be “made nigh by the blood of Christ” (Eph 2:11-12). The cross has made the difference for the nations. It was the turning point for the heathen nations. They have now seen the light. What they do with that light is, of course, up to them. But God has opened a way of access to all nations without favour. They are no longer deceived as to the way.

LOL. Who is he? Who else could be kingdom of darkness? Does it have 2 kings? LOL.
There are trillions of angels

Some are veery high ranking angels whereby Satan is the highest and he rules over them thus he is called:
"the god of this world/age .

And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.

You cannot divorce the king from his kingdom. A kingdom without a king is not a kingdom. There are not multiple kings in the kingdom of darkness. Satan is king. He rules there. He calls the shots there. Satan reigns over the kingdom of darkness. Revelation 16:10 tells us that the daemonic “kingdom” is “full of darkness.” So, Satan has a kingdom!

Satan is described as “the prince [archōn or ruler] of the devils” in Matthew 9:34, 12:24 and Mark 3:22. Matthew 9:34 extends the name to “Beelzebub the prince [archōn or ruler] of the devils.”

Dr. Michael Fape says in his book Power – Spiritual warfare in Pagan Cultures: “the fact that there was a ‘ruler’ in the hierarchy of the powers of darkness presupposes a kingdom … principalities and powers can be understood as personal, supernatural intelligences, emissaries of the god of this world, which seek to influence the world and mankind for ill at every level, using every resource at their disposal.”

Satan is the king of the kingdom of darkness.

Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? …
Job 41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

Kings sit on thrones. Scripture shows that Satan has a throne.

Isaiah 14:12-15

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Psalms 94:20

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

Revelation 2:13: "I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth."

Satan is never called Apollyon

Satan is Higher then 'angel' status = Satan is a Cherubim

Apollyon is angel that is appointed to be king over those locusts/demons

So there are 2 kings in the kingdom of darkness? How can some demons be bound/imprisoned there and others are not? That does not make sense. It seems like you are manipulating Scripture to fit what you have been taught. The reality is: this corroborates Amil. It forbids Premil.

Not to mention, look what these locusts set out to do once released then compare with what satan does once released.

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads

That they should hurt only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads

Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Therefore, if Amil is correct---this indicates--That they should hurt only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads = And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city = absurd nonsense.

Granted, that is not Amils' position, except that would have to be the logical conclusion to arrive at if the loosing of the locusts are connected with the loosing of satan. Everybody knows that those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads = the camp of satan. Everybody knows, thus can read, when satan is loosed, he does not wage war on his own camp, he wages war on the camp of the saints. Therefore, Revelation 9:1-11 = Revelation 20:7-9 = nonsense.

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads

That they should hurt only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads

The symbolic locusts being released from the abyss correlates with Satan's little season in Revelation 20. Demons spiritually attack the minds of the ungodly because that is where deception occurs. Hello! They cannot deceive God's elect (Matt 24:24). This supports Amil doctrine. What is more: this is before the last trump (Rev 10:7). Hello! This is the release of Satan and his minions before the second coming (Revelation 9:1-11 & Revelation 20:3). Fact! This is one of a thousand reasons to reject Premil and embrace Amil.

When Christ bound Satan’s kingdom through His life, death and resurrection then all were bound. 2 Peter 2:4, Jude v 6, Revelation 9 and Revelation 20 all prove the whole demonic realm has been restrained from stopping the free-flow of the Gospel. The bruising of the head of the beast (Revelation 13:3, 13:12 and 13:14) correlates with the bruising of the head of Satan 2,000 years ago through the earthly ministry of Christ (Genesis 3:15). They correspond with the spiritual binding imprisoning of Satan during the millennial period. These are figurative metaphors describing the impairment of the kingdom of darkness 2000 years ago.

When Satan was banished from heaven, so was the whole demonic realm (1/3 of the angels went with him).

Satan is never called Apollyon

Satan is Higher then 'angel' status = Satan is a Cherubim

Apollyon is angel that is appointed to be king over those locusts/demons
What are cherubims?

Angels!

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Psa 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

Eze 11:22
Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

I'm not trying to nit-pick your words Davy. I'm reinforcing an important truth because many Christians believe that we do not NOW, from the moment of re-birth possess eternal life and that death of our physical body cannot take away the eternal life we have through the Spirit sent from Christ in us. That's why so many Christians believe the martyred saints (Rev 20:4) must be bodily resurrected to live and reign with God for one thousand years after Christ comes again. Even though some translations make this appear to be true through the word "AGAIN", John writes only that before they physically died "they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." How had they lived and reigned with Christ in life a thousand years before being martyred for their faith? Through their eternal spirit! Since having eternal spiritual life, they received when they were born again before they died, their spirit could never die. That's how John is shown beheaded souls alive (spirit body) in heaven not resurrected physical body made alive again on earth. Faithful saints do not have to wait until the last day when our mortal body is resurrected to live and reign with Christ when He comes again. Faithful saints live and reign with Christ through His Spirit in our spirit before we physically die, having eternal spiritual life, and since we are after death a spiritual body of Christ, our spirit alive (living soul) returns to heaven with Christ to wait for the resurrection and change of our outer body that shall be when Christ comes again.

There are those who still think with their 'flesh' in a primitive state of mind, that when our flesh dies that we are literally asleep in the casket until the future resurrection. I am not one of those.

There are those, even back to the early Church in Europe, that believed when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D., that Christ's literal Kingdom was then fulfilled here on earth. I am NOT one of those either.

I follow what God's Word as written declares, and let the chips fall where they may. And the only... way to know when men's doctrines are being pushed instead of what is written in God's Word, is to have studied God's written Word beforehand, and listen to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, and not to man.
