“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” (Luke 13:24)You have failed once more to find a single verse to support your theory. You're welcome to keep trying but I can assure you that no such theory exists in the bible.
Hello CS, then Could you explain to me please, what do you believe to be true about, Salvation or Everlasting life? You have failed once more to find a single verse to support your theory. You're welcome to keep trying but I can assure you that no such theory exists in the bible.
As usual none of those verses said anything of the sort. I'll happily give you my house if you ever find anything of the sort.
You have yet to cite any scripture that refutes what I stated along with a plethora of texts. You typically resort to these innuendo comments like this one above. You seem to do this quite consistently with other posters as well. There's no point in citing verses of scripture, so you can twist them and make God a liar, which is what you have done consistently.
The fact that you have cited Jacob Arminius, who is a contemporary of John Calvin as someone who is opposite of your view. Neither reformer is correct in most of their theology, with Calvin much further from the Truth than Arminius. They and subsequent originators of hundreds of differing opinions as to what scripture means is always a man based theory and not the Truth once given and preserved by the Holy Spirit. You have placed your faith in Jacob Arminius and his, "saved by works" version of the gospel. That is an abominable and blasphemous denial of the true gospel.
You think that following the crowd will save you, but the Lord Jesus said that following the crowd leads you to hell. So God is not mocked by your denial of the truth, because you will reap what you sow.
Did God love David? Of course He did, he was the apple of His eye, a man after God's heart. But God did not allow David to build the temple, God decreed that to his son Solomon. Why? Because David had so much blood on his hands.
eg Was John the Baptist saved by the Gospel of Paul Eph 1:13, 1 Cor 15:1-4 ?
U >>There's only ONE Gospel and that is the Gospel of the Kingdom taught by Jesus and His Apostles including Paul.No related to me question, but OK.
There's only ONE Gospel and that is the Gospel of the Kingdom taught by Jesus and His Apostles including Paul.
Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
John the Baptist was saved by the Gospel of the Kingdom taught by Jesus
Those following and rejecting the teachings of Jesus to follow Paul are guilty of idolatry which leads to hell according to Jesus
Yes gladly,Could you show me a scripture please that explains what you just said?

Please don't outsource your salvation to AI, the Lord Jesus is the only One you need to place your faith in. The robots have been programmed by the powers of darkness, they are hell bent on you destruction.“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” (Luke 13:24)
What Jesus took the time to explain should be Paramount, shouldn't it?
AI Overview
Jesus's explanation in Luke 13:24 emphasizes the difficulty and importance of striving to enter the narrow door to salvation. This teaching is often interpreted as paramount due to its direct implications for eternal life and the urgency with which people should seek spiritual readiness [1].
The passage reads: “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” (ESV)
This verse is generally understood to highlight several key points:
For many Christians, any teaching directly attributed to Jesus carries the highest authority and should be considered foundational to their faith and life's focus. The emphasis on the "narrow door" serves as a critical warning and a call to action regarding one's ultimate spiritual direction.
- Urgency: The need to address one's spiritual life with seriousness and immediacy [1].
- Effort: Salvation requires genuine, dedicated effort and commitment (striving), not just casual interest.
- Exclusivity: The path is narrow, suggesting it is distinct and not universally easy to follow.
- Consequence: A failure to strive effectively has eternal consequences, as many will seek later and be unable to enter.
it looks like LoveYeshua can recognize relevant words in the Bible, maybe you need some glasses?
The Bible has a lot to say about Salvation and Everlasting life, and I believe everything the Bible says.Hello CS, then Could you explain to me please, what do you believe to be true about, Salvation or Everlasting life?
Blessings.
You don't allow Gods Word to speak to you because your interpretation of Gods Word is perverted. You have yet to cite any scripture that refutes what I stated along with a plethora of texts. You typically resort to these innuendo comments like this one above. You seem to do this quite consistently with other posters as well.
Looking back on several more recent posts you have yet to refute the biblical concept of man's response to God's call to repentance and with a life long commitment to faithfulness.
All you do is boast that your opinion outweighs all others with no evidence. Cite the text that states God guarantees one's faith.
What most of these men do is reinterpret the meaning of words to fit their particular theory. This is exactly what you have done with the use of the word "all". The use of "all" in scriptural context does not fit your theory. Not only that but you have denied the work of Christ who was Incarnated for our sakes. It seems quite inconceivable that in your theory, not all men became mortal, thus Christ could not assume our human nature and by His death and resurrection raise those humans to life.
My guess is that you do believe that "all" men (humans) will be raised in the last day. That is an impossibility unless you believe that Christ actually did become man and thus was able to give life to all humans by his own resurrection. I Cor 15:20-21, 53-54, Rom 5:18, Col 1:20, II Cor 5:18. Heb 2:14-16, Heb 2:9, I John 2:4, John 4:42, I John 4:14.
These texts all reference the aspect of our salvation that cannot be lost. It was done solely and only by Christ for His most prized creature, man.
You have yet to answer why Adam lost "salvation" in the beginning. He was created good, without sin and was in direct communion with God. Yet he lost his "salvation". So why would you think that man is not responsible for his faith and relationship with God today.
When did God change? Because if you hold to your view then God changed, yet scripture says God is the same yesterday, today and forever. In other words He does not change.
First, Thank you for listing the verses you mentioned, I looked at them in detail and made an important observation. The Bible has a lot to say about Salvation and Everlasting life, and I believe everything the Bible says.
What I believe and what you believe don't matter at all. The only thing that does matter is the truth.
Gods Word is not open to private interpretation, We're not called to make Gods Word conform to our preconceived expectations.
There's an estimated 49,000 Christian Denominations in 2025 these all departed from the One true Apostolic Church which Christ established. The reason they departed was because they didn't want to submit themselves to the Authority of Gods Word alone. They wanted to have equal authority, so they interpreted the Bible in a way
just want to be clear here ,I know very well God and Jesus have complete authority over everything. Like you the truth is of utmost importance for me and, what I teach and write on this forum is always what Jesus Preached, I do the same. Notice all my posts, unless it is a quick comment , are always accompanied by scripture in the proper context. I use Mostly The words of Jesus My Lord and the one I follow completely, If you read carefully it is evident I follow Him and His words so for you to say I preach a false Gospel is just not right.@LoveYeshua doesn't believe that God is absolutely sovereign over every aspect of His creation. Like yourself, they believe that God is limited by the will of man, so He is not almighty.
He can only do what people like @LoveYeshua and yourself allow Him to do and that's not the God who, revealed Himself in the Bible.
Preaching a false gospel, can't save anyone.
You are a joke. All of the above applies directly to you. You are presenting your own opinion and interpretation. You are one of those 49,000. Your view that a christian cannot lose salvation is pure reformational/Calvinism. You missed it by 1500 years. You don't allow Gods Word to speak to you because your interpretation of Gods Word is perverted.
We all know that anyone can interpret Gods Word to make it say whatever they want it to say. As you know there are 49,000 Christian Denominations in 2025, every one of them has it's own private interpretation. Each one of them are under the same strong delusion, where they believe that their interpretation is the only correct one and the rest can all going to hell.
So what's the point in considering all of the scriptures which expose your denomination for teaching false doctrine, when you're not prepared to consider the possibility that you have been indoctrinated by your Denomination's false interpretation of Gods Word.
Gods Word is foolishness to those who are perishing, they think they know the truth but they are blind to the truth. They think they are Christians, but the Lord Jesus will throw them into the lake of fire. They will come to Hi saying Lord, Lord, but He will say to them "depart from Me into the everlasting fire, for I never knew you".
Every one of your attempts to interpret verses of scripture, exposes your theology as being false. I haven't seen you make any attempt to defend the gospel at all. All I see is you defending your own opinion, which is quite sad really.
Thanks for sharing your private opinion about salvation. Unfortunately your opinion is based on unbiblical assumptions, (God warns against) presuming upon the Lord. If God didn't say something then please don't add your opinion to what He said.First, Thank you for listing the verses you mentioned, I looked at them in detail and made an important observation.
Most of the verses in that text do not say salvation cannot be lost. They speak about God choosing, calling, giving grace, giving promises, and giving eternal life. But being chosen or given something does not automatically mean it cannot later be rejected, abandoned, or forfeited. That conclusion has to be read into the text.
Now let us go section by section.
Verses that are usually claimed to prove salvation cannot be lost
John 6:37–40
Jesus says He will not cast out the one who comes to Him, and that He will lose nothing of what the Father has given Him.
This verse promises Jesus’ faithfulness, not human impossibility of falling away. Jesus does not say a person cannot later stop believing, stop following, or stop abiding. He speaks of His will and His care, not a removal of human responsibility.
This must be read together with Jesus’ own warning:
“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered” (John 15:6).
So John 6 does not say salvation cannot be lost. It says Jesus will never reject the one who truly comes and remains.
John 10:27–29
Jesus says His sheep hear His voice, follow Him, and no one can snatch them out of His hand.
This verse protects believers from outside force, not from walking away themselves.
Notice the condition Jesus gives: “My sheep hear My voice, and they follow Me.”
The promise applies while they are hearing and following.
Jesus never says a sheep cannot stop listening.
Romans 8:31–39
This passage says nothing can separate us from the love of God.
It lists persecution, hardship, danger, and death.
It does not list unbelief, rebellion, denial of Christ, or refusing to endure.
Again, this passage speaks of external opposition, not deliberate turning away.
Romans 11:29
“The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
In context, this passage is about Israel as a people, not a guarantee that an individual cannot fall.
In the same chapter, Paul warns that branches were broken off and others can be too (Romans 11:20–22).
So this verse cannot mean individual salvation is unloseable.
Ephesians 1:3–14
This passage speaks about being chosen, predestined, and sealed.
But the same letter later warns believers not to grieve the Spirit and warns that those who practice sin have no inheritance in the kingdom (Ephesians 4:30; 5:5).
So the sealing is not described as unconditional no matter what.
Verses that clearly do NOT teach salvation cannot be lost
Many verses in the list simply talk about:
– God choosing
– God calling
– God giving grace
– God preparing good works
– God offering salvation
Examples:
– Ephesians 2:8–10
– James 1:18
– James 2:5
– 1 Peter 1:2
– Matthew 1:21
– Colossians 3:12–14
None of these say salvation cannot be lost. They describe how salvation begins, not how it must end.
Verses that actually undermine “salvation cannot be lost”
Philippians 2:12–13
“Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
You do not fear losing something that cannot be lost.
2 Peter 1:3–11
Peter tells believers to add virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, and love.
Then he says:
“Be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.”
If election could not be lost, this warning would make no sense.
James 2 (by implication)
James teaches that faith can be dead.
Dead faith does not save.
The biggest problem with the argument
Not one verse in the entire list contains a sentence like:
– “A believer cannot fall away”
– “A saved person cannot lose salvation”
– “Once saved, always saved”
Those ideas are conclusions added later, not statements found in Scripture.
Jesus Himself directly contradicts the idea that salvation cannot be lost
Jesus repeatedly warns believers:
– “He who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13)
– “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out” (John 15:6)
– “Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent” (Revelation 3:3)
– “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10)
A crown given at the end can be lost before the end.
The verses listed do not prove salvation cannot be lost.
They prove:
– God is faithful
– God saves
– God chooses
– God gives eternal life
But Jesus teaches that remaining, enduring, obeying, and holding fast matter.
Salvation is not fragile, but it is not forced.
God does not abandon His people.
But people can abandon Him.
That is the truth according to Jesus’ own words, and Jesus words Matters above all else.
Your love for Scripture and your desire to defend God’s truth are good, and they should be honored. The verses you used truly speak about God’s power, His faithfulness, His choosing, and His deep commitment to save. None of that is wrong. The difficulty comes from how those verses are understood and applied.
Many of the passages you quoted describe what God does, not what a person can never do. They show that God chooses, calls, protects, and gives eternal life. But they do not say that a person is no longer able to turn away, stop listening, or stop following. God’s faithfulness does not remove human responsibility. Jesus never said God would fail. He warned because people can fail if they stop abiding.
Some of the verses you used were also spoken to specific people, not given as universal guarantees in the way they are often used. When Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16), He was speaking directly to the apostles, explaining their calling and mission, not declaring that every believer can never fall. In John 17, Jesus speaks about the disciples as they were at that moment, and even then He prays for their protection because danger still exists.
Other verses were written to specific churches that were faithful at the time. Words of assurance were meant to encourage them to continue, not to tell them endurance no longer mattered. Some passages speak about God’s plan in history, about Israel or the people of God as a whole, not about an unbreakable guarantee for every individual no matter how they live later.
Even the strongest verses about security are conditional in their own wording. Jesus says His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. He promises protection from outside forces, not that a person cannot stop listening. When Jesus says He will not cast out the one who comes to Him, He is showing His mercy and faithfulness, not removing the call to remain. The same Jesus warns that a branch that does not abide is cast out.
The verses about love, assurance, and God’s protection tell us who God is. They do not cancel the many warnings Jesus gives to believers to remain faithful, to endure to the end, to hold fast, and to keep watch. Those warnings only make sense if walking away is possible. If salvation could never be lost in any sense, Jesus’ warnings would lose their meaning.
What went wrong is not a lack of faith in God, but an imbalance. Trust in God’s promises was allowed to silence Jesus’ warnings, when both are meant to stand together. The solution is not fear, and it is not doubt. The solution is to hold both truths at the same time. God is completely faithful, and we are called to remain faithful in Him.
Salvation is not weak or uncertain, but it is a living relationship. God never lets go, yet He does not force love or obedience. Jesus calls us to stay close, to keep listening, to keep following, and to endure until the end. That path does not weaken assurance. It protects it.
This way, all the verses you quoted stay true, and the words of Jesus remain fully honored. that is the truth the bible teaches
Your interpretation of the gospel doesn't make sense to me, because it is opposed to the one I have been taught, so I concluded that it's false to me.just want to be clear here ,I know very well God and Jesus have complete authority over everything. Like you the truth is of utmost importance for me and, what I teach and write on this forum is always what Jesus Preached, I do the same. Notice all my posts, unless it is a quick comment , are always accompanied by scripture in the proper context. I use Mostly The words of Jesus My Lord and the one I follow completely, If you read carefully it is evident I follow Him and His words so for you to say I preach a false Gospel is just not right.
Thank you for confirming what I already suspected, you have put your faith in sinners like Athanasius the Great, instead of the Lord Jesus. You are a joke. All of the above applies directly to you. You are presenting your own opinion and interpretation. You are one of those 49,000. Your view that a christian cannot lose salvation is pure reformational/Calvinism. You missed it by 1500 years.
On the other hand what I presented was historical Christianity as it has been believed, practiced from the very beginning, not since the 16th century. The Incarnation has been a doctrine from the beginning of the NT times. There is a 3rd century book written by Athanasius the Great, called, On the Incarnation. You will be enlightened.
Just an added historical note for your enlightenment, the Synod of Jerusalem declared Calvinism heretical in 1672.
I believe both can be found on the web.
It is not a private opinion, and I understand that you may not change your mind. What matters is what Jesus Himself said and is the truth as always. Thanks for sharing your private opinion about salvation. Unfortunately your opinion is based on unbiblical assumptions, (God warns against) presuming upon the Lord. If God didn't say something then please don't add your opinion to what He said.
You began your defence of your theology, with the premise that God didn't say that salvation cannot be lost. This a very weak argument because Gods people take Him at His word, so we don't need Him to sate the opposite is not possible.
We know that God never fails to achieve anything He sets out to do, so when He promised to save His elect we believe Him.
Please don't bother telling me about all the things God didn't say, I would appreciate it if you stick with what He did say instead. It's not profitable to spend time thinking about all those things God never said.
C.S. what gospel do you follow? can you explain in one or 2 lines to let me know what are the main points of the gospel you follow, it would help me understand.Your interpretation of the gospel doesn't make sense to me, because it is opposed to the one I have been taught, so I concluded that it's false to me.
We should also remember that there are 49,000 Christian denominations in 2025 and most of these teach opposing versions of the gospel. Everyone has their own truth, so what's true for you is not true for me. This is why there will never be unity among the denominations.
There was a bloody war among Christians over opposing theological views in the 16th century, where ten's of thousands of brothers butchered each other, just because they rejected each other theological views.
We are not killing each other today, but the Church remains bitterly divided and there ias much hatred between the opponents to this day.
It's OK to disagree with me, I'm not the One who will judge you on judgement day, when everyone will find out if what they believe is true. Then those who dod not know the truth will be cast into the lake of fire. Jesus said "I am the truth" and we know He cast everyone who doesn't know Him into the lake of fire where they are tormented for all eternity.
