Does God have a detailed plan for every single person?

I'm inclined to believe the former. My thought is that God has longterm plans for each of us which entails differing experiences here and with a detailed plan for every minute of every hour of every day if our lives. I doubt that anything is left to chance.

God definitely has a plan - but it's flexible.
Some details are more important than others.

I believe that He doesn't control every single event and circumstance (although He can do if He wishes). He does control the things that are absolutely crucial, but the less important things can be left to happen as they will.

That takes the pressure off us. If something's really really important, then God's guidance will be clear and we should follow it. But in my experience that's often not the case. However, we don't have to go around worrying that we might have 'missed' God's guidance and wrecked His perfect plan. Because He can weave even our mistakes into His plan and turn them to good (Romans 8:28).

I don't see Peter or the other apostles telling people that "God has a plan for their lives". They didn't tell people stuff so that they can make them feel good or special.

I have no idea how this works out in real life. But I do know that God declares the end from the beginning, sees every sparrow falling, and every hair on my head is numbered (Luke 12:6-7, and the number gets smaller every year). And yet the decisions I make in this life have meaning and consequences.

I believe that God handed to world over to the devil as it’s stated in Luke 4:5-7, and that he has provided all the instruction we need to navigate a world ruled by God’s adversary.....he permits awful things because he has the power to reverse all bad outcomes. No one dies without the hope of the resurrection, which has nothing to do with immortal souls flitting of the heaven or being thrown into a burning lake of fire.

At death, life ceases (Eccl 9:5, 10) until the call Jesus mentions in John 5:28-29....where he says that he will call all the dead from their graves. This is a restoration of life at a time when Jesus restores God’s rulership (God’s Kingdom) back to mankind on earth. (Rev 21:2-4)

We were meant to live here in paradise conditions on earth forever, but the devil derailed God’s purpose leading him to permit satan to show us all if he was the better god and ruler for mankind....and we can see how miserably he has failed.

The coming of the Kingdom will result in God’s will being “done on earth as it is in heaven....isn’t this what Jesus taught us to pray for?

I would have the same difficulty accepting that scenario as I would with those who believe in guardian angels....
It doesn’t explain God’s permission of atrocities like mass murder, or being the target of a missile or bomb dropped indiscriminately on innocent civilians....it doesn’t explain a stillborn child, or a mother who dies in childbirth leaving a child or children with no mother.....nor does it explain why God allows marriage mates to die. Death is not something for which humans have a “program”.

If it was meant to happen, then God would give us a way to deal with these things in a natural way.....but there is no natural way to deal with death.....except grief....which sometimes lasts till the end of the grieving person’s life.

When we know why it’s all happening and how it ends....it gives us choices to be on God’s side, or the devil’s side....and we already know who the winner is....

One does not require a “spiritual birth” into God’s Kingdom unless one is “elected” (chosen) for a role in the heavenly Kingdom. The ones chosen for that role, (outlined in Rev 20:6) are a finite number (Rev 14:1-5) and these will be “kings and priests” who will reign with Christ for the thousand years it will take to bring everything back to the way God intended before the rebellion in Eden. God is the one who chooses them....so, not all are “chosen” because they will have subjects here on the earth. This is why the Lord’s Prayer tells us that with the coming of the Kingdom, God’s will can then be “done on earth as it is in heaven”. The two realms will then be in complete harmony....happily serving God forever.

The Kingdom ‘comes’ to us....we don’t go to the Kingdom unless we are chosen to do so. They are the ones the Bible speaks about, being transformed into spirit bodies so that they can dwell in God’s presence as the angels do. The ones spoken about in John 5:28-29 will be resurrected as the person they were before they died...only with a new healthy body, to resume life, reunited with their resurrected loved ones.

I am not one of the “chosen ones”, but relish the thought of everlasting life in paradise, ruled by those who love God and his Christ, and who will be the best rulers we have ever had!.....kind, compassionate, and incorruptible.

God created humans to live on earth forever.....there was never any mention of everyone going to heaven, which is already heavily populated with spirit “sons of God”.

The earth is not a training ground for heaven...it was designed to be our permanent home....and the Kingdom will “come”, and destroy all wickedness on this earth, along with all who practise it (Dan 2:44)....there will be one government to rule the whole world.....not of man’s making, but of God’s. (Rev 21:2-4)

That is something to look forward to. (1 John 3:8)

What we can "know" (as opposed to merely "believe"), given the best example-- is that God's plans even for Jesus were in fact known to Him and sure "before the foundation of the world" even began.

Our understanding of what all that means--unfortunately--is clouded by the mystery of Time...which even scientifically is merely "an illusion."

Truth be known, although time seems to unfold, it is rather the revelations from God--which was before the world began--that is unfolding. Meaning, what is most commonly believed, is actually backwards.

Meaning, that "in the twinkling of an eye" moment of freewill and what God would then make manifest in this world--lay to bare--is what is now being revealed "here a little there a little"--as Paul said, "but each one in his own order" down through these would-be ages.

If you can receive it--this is according to what is written regarding "all truth" and the "finish" of "the mystery of God."
