I'm not sure what you are referring to about the reasons we hoped for when we voted for him. I hired him to do what he's doing and what he says is the cherry on top.

Two things can be true at the same time. People voted for the outsider Trump because of wide recognition on both sides of the electorate that the establishment elites have failed. And it is true that God raised Trump up. It was a miracle he defeated the witch in 2016 and it was a miracle that he survived the assassination attempt.

Said differently, there are reasons the electorate chose Trump that is understandable in soulful ways and one does not have to rely on attributing it all to mystical spiritualism.

It's unlikely that the president of Venezuela will take the bait. He wants the U.S. Navy to go away. He's even told Trump over the phone that he can have as much oil as he wants, so long long as he remains the head of state. But that won't do because Trump wants him gone. He wants him gone, and he wants the oil.

So here's what I've been thinking. What if this power play against Venezuela is actually a way to save face after being defeated by Russia? NATO has lost the war in Ukraine. It's a humiliating defeat for the United States in particular.

This potential invasion of Venezuela, the seizing of oil tankers, etc, --- it all seems like a way for the US to bump it's chest and stroke it's own ego after losing yet another proxy war. This happening so soon after Afghanistan, well, it makes America look weak. If there's one thing we know about the hawks up in Washington, it's that they hate looking weak. The renaming of the Department of Defense to the Department of War comes to mind.

Here is the Assembly meeting.
We are not attacking or going to war with the people of Venezuela who are being held CAPTIVE under Maduro. We are simply applying some heat so Maduro will leave willingly.
I am hoping with the Assembly meeting yesterday that the UN will get some balls and help us help Venezuela be free from the cartels that are controlling them.
