Let us return to Leviticus the 23rd chapter and look at the last High and Holy Day. The Feast of Tabernacles.

Leviticus 23:33 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. 36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Have you noticed each time a High Day is mentioned, the book states the Lord spoke unto Moses? The Book also says these are the Lord's feast. These are not the feast of the Jews, these feast are the Lords. On this day you shall have a solemn assembly you shall do no servile work therein. What is a solemn assembly? It is a coming together correct? This represents the coming together of the Lords people in the last days. The release of the people of God. Let us go to Deuteronomy 31st chapter and take a close look at this feast day.

Deuteronomy 31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel. 10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, 11 When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. At the end of every 7 years this shall be the year of release. This is in the year of Pentecost or fiftieth year. Pentecost is also called the year of release. This is when the people will be brought together in the year of Pentecost.

Deuteronomy 31:12 Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:

Notice what it says. Gather the people together that they may hear, and that they may learn and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law. When is this done? During the Feast of Tabernacles. Let us have a better look at this.

Let's go to Leviticus the 25th chapter. Remember that Pentecost in also called the Year of release.

Leviticus 25:8 And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Remember the Day of Pentecost we had 7 weeks. Now we have seven Sabbaths of Years. (Which equal 49 years).

Leviticus 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

Note what it says, thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement. Jubilee means rejoicing or release.

Leviticus 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

Remember the word Pentecost means 50. We shall hallow the 50th year. Why? If we knew were to start counting these years, we could tell you exactly what year the Lord will return. On this day ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. At this time every man will return to his own country or in other words unto his own family.

Leviticus 25:11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. 12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. 13 In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

In this year every man will receive his possession. The Jubilee is the Year of Pentecost. This day the Lord will start His deliverance. The deliverance will begin on the Day of Atonement. The 7th trumpet will be blown, and the people will be gather in the Feast of Tabernacles. Tabernacle is the also call the Feast of Ingathering.

1. The year the Lord will come is the Year of Pentecost.

2. The day the Lord will stand on the earth is the Day of Atonement.

3. The day the Lord will start to gather Israel or all those that are under His blood is the Feast of Tabernacles.

Now, let's return to Leviticus the 23rd chapter and see how Moses did exactly what the Lord told him to do and that was to teach the people about these High and Holy days.

Leviticus 23:44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

Did the verse say the feast of the Jews? No! It states, "Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feast of the LORD! This was a brief look at the plan of God. Let us recap what we have learned.

Passover: The Passover represents the passing over of your sins, and the only way your sins will be passed over is if you bring yourself under the blood of the Lamb.

Feast of Unleavened bread: On the 15th day of the month the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt. The Feast of Unleavened Bread represents Israel's deliverance. This is also a spiritual deliverance. Why? If the Lord would not have die for us, we would still be in our sins.

Pentecost: This is the year the Lord will return and also the first resurrection.

Memorial of the Blowing of the Trumpets: It is to remind us what will take place prior to the Lord's return, and also what He will do when He arrives.

Day of Atonement: This day represent the Lord making an atonement for our sins and also the day He will stand on the earth.

Feast of Tabernacles: The day the Lord will start to gather Israel and all the people that brought themselves under the banner of Israel.

Now, on the feast days what are we supposed to do?

Take a look.

Deuteronomy 14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always. 24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee: 25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

On the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Pentecost (which is called the Feast of Weeks) and the Feast of Tabernacles. We shall eat and drink before the LORD with our entire household, rejoicing in the name of the Lord. We have taken a small look at the High and Holy Sabbaths. Remember Sisters and Brothers, this isn't a request. IT IS THE LAW.

i bet you can walk on water. i am more than aware of your religious what ever you call it.. i bet you dont belive in santa either i hate to tell you but santa claus is watching you
Santa Clause, Ole Saint Nick, that jolly old fat man that lives in the North Pole, runs a workshop with Elves (little people) and ride on a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer. He is reported to deliver gifts to all good children around the world on Christmas, beginning at midnight and being done before morning. Entering houses by landing his sleigh on the rooftops and descending down the chimney with his bag of toys on his back. Once in the house, he puts the toys around the Christmas tree, eats the cookies and drinks the milk that is left for him before going to the next house. Sometimes taking time to get a kiss from mommy. Well, according to history, Saint Nicholas, who they portray Santa Clause, or Ole Saint Nick after, was a 4th century Bishop of Myra, which is located in Asia Minor , on the southwestern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

A long way away from the North Pole! Also, according to Webster student dictionary, the definition for Nick, "The Devil" usually Old Nick. Now, is it possible to travel around the world in less than 24 hours stopping at every house? Knowing Reindeers don't fly; Christmas takes place in winter, so there's fire in the fireplaces to keep the house warm. What do you think would happen to a fat man trying to come down a chimney with a bag of toys on his back with a fire in the fireplace? If it's suppose to be Jesus birthday; why do we have to buy each other presents and what do we give him? A day filled with drinking, resulting in drunkenness, a day with a lot of fornication and adultery taking place. A day filled with lies pertaining to him. And what do a decorated tree, mistletoe, Yule logs, fire and lights have to do with Jesus?

The mistletoe was a sacred plant in the pagan religion of the Druids in Britain. It was believed to have all sorts of miraculous qualities: the power of healing diseases, making poisons harmless, giving fertility to humans and animals, protecting from witchcraft, banning evil spirits, bringing good luck and great blessings. In fact, the mistletoe was considered so sacred that even enemies who happened to meet beneath mistletoe in the forest would lay down their arms, exchange a friendly greeting, and keep a truce until the following day. From this old custom grew the practice of suspending mistletoe over a doorway or in a room as a token of good will and peace to all comers. The kiss under the mistletoe; the token of good will and friendship; the omen of happiness and good luck and the new religious significance.

Holly has been used in Christmas tradition for almost two thousand years. It's older, pagan origins began at least as early as ancient Rome, when holly was associated with Saturn, the sun god. In Druidic and other related pagan traditions, holly leaves were placed around homes in the winter in the belief that the fairies would use it as a shelter against the cold. Early Christians in the British Isles adopted this tradition at first to avoid persecution, but holly was eventually reinterpreted with Christian symbolism. The pointy edges represent the crown of thorns which Christ wore during his crucifixion. The red berries represent Christ's blood which he shed during His torture and death.

Why can't we find the word Christmas in the Bible? Why don't we see in the Bible where Jesus, the apostles, or anyone else for that matter, celebrating his birthday? The Bible tells us to remember his death (which is the Passover); it says nothing about celebrating his birth. It doesn't even tell you when he was born.

The keeping of Sunday as the Christian Sabbath is not of God but of Man. If you are a true Christian, which means a follower of Christ or to be Christ like; then keep the Sabbath day on the seventh day of the week Saturday.

ORIGIN OF SUNDAY WORSHIP

Ample evidence from history shows that the celebration of Sunday originated from pagan practices of SUN WORSHIP. In March of 321 A.D., the Roman Emperor Constantine, who was at first a sun-worshiper and later a Christian convert, issued the first decree declaring Sunday to be a legal day of rest. In 336 A.D., the Roman Catholic Church officially changed the observance of Sabbath to Sunday for political and economic expediency. Since then, the original Sabbath gradually gave way to Sunday observance and the practice remains to this day.

You see, in the Council of Trent (1545 A.D.), the church leaders ruled that "tradition" is of as great authority as the Bible! They believed that God had given them the authority to change the Bible any way they pleased. By "tradition" they meant human teachings.

The sun was the main god of the heathen even back as far as ancient Babylon. Since they worshiped the sun on Sunday, the compromising church leaders could see that if they changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, it would accomplish several things. Number one - it would separate them from the Jews who were hated by many of the Romans and who, along with Jesus, And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. (Luke 4:16), had been worshiping on Saturday from the beginning (and still do today). Number two - it would make it much easier for the pagans to come into the church if the Christians met on the same day that the pagan world did.

It worked well. Pagans flocked in by the thousands. Satan's plan of compromise was doing its baleful work. The change was attempted gradually but many of the true hearted, loyal Christians were alarmed. They came to the leaders and wanted to know why they had dared tamper with the law of Almighty God! The church leaders knew this would happen - and they had an answer ready. It's a masterpiece. If a person doesn't know the bible well it sounds good.

The people were told that they were worshiping on Sunday now because Jesus rose from the dead on that day. The book say in Revelation 12: 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Maybe we need to be careful, yet more, about our assumptions, with watching out for false teachers. No teacher is flawless, unless you are talking about the great teacher, Jesus. What if all teachers are false teachers? Teachers will get some things wrong, even if not most things. Doubt this? Watch carefully and check. With teachers we should be inspired to check much more what is said in the Bible, and something about looking more carefully.

Do the research yourself it's all there. There's not even one verse in the Bible that tells us to do this, to worship on the first day of the week, but that's what they were told. Isn't it amazing! Maybe you've even heard that yourself!

When Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became the state religion you remember. As thousands of sun-worshipers flocked into the church, it wasn't long before they had a dominating influence. Most of his top officials had been sun-worshipers. Because the Roman government was getting shaky, Constantine consulted with his aides and with the church officials in Rome.

"What shall we do? How can we unite and stabilize the government?"

The counsel of the church leaders was timely.

"Pass a Sunday law. Force everyone to cease work and honor Sunday."

That was it! It would satisfy the sun-worshiping pagans, and unite pagans, Christians, and the Roman empire as never before.

The year is 321 A.D. Constantine, yielding to the suggestion of church leaders passes the first Sunday law! Here it is, straight out of the record:

"Let all the judges and town people, and the occupation of all trades rest on the venerable day of the sun" Edict of March 7, 321 A.D. Corpus Juris Civilis Cod., lib. 3, tit. 12, Lex. 3.

January the 1st suppose to be the new year and the beginning of months, like December 25 supposed to be Christ birthday. But let’s see when the real new year begins. Let’s start this in Genesis 1: 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: now let's take a look at this because it says the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night so if we read a little bit further up we will see that the evening in the morning is the first day, 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. even in the morning is the second day, 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. So the day starts in the evening not 12:00 clock a.m. or is it p.m. the midnight. Can’t be both at the same time. So we have people shooting and bringing in the so call new year at the wrong time.

But let’s see when the real first month starts according to the word of God. Let’s go into Exodus 12: 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: there shall no stranger eat thereof:

So we see this is the passover, and we know that the passover is around spring time, which is the same time the pagan Easter, which is a different season, because December 31st and January 1st is still the same season, which is winter time. But let’s get a name of this Month in Exodus 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. 4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.

Jesus removed the Mosaic law and that includes feasts.

Jesus is talking about the Mosaic Law here in Mark
Mark 11:14 - And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Jesus told the Pharisees He was removing the Kingdom of God from them. This includes feasts.

Matthew 21:43 - I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit.

Jesus said the temple would be destroyed and also destroys the Mosaic law and feasts and sacrifices as a way to forgive sins, Jesus is the High Priest now.

Luke 19:42-44 - “How I wish today that you of all people (Jews) would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes. 43 Before long your enemies will build ramparts against your walls and encircle you and close in on you from every side. 44 They will crush you into the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not recognize it when God visited you.”

At the Jerusalem Council. All the apostles were present include the Apostle Paul and all agreed the Gentiles would not be required to do any of the Mosaic laws, including feasts.

Acts 15:19-21 - “And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood.

When Jesus warned against the leaven of the Pharisees, He was not talking about observance to the Mosaic Law through the Torah. The doctrinal basis of the Pharisees was the Talmud, an exaggerated version of the Law with excessive addition of extra rules, making micro-managing of people forcing them to obey rules and laws which were unScriptural extensions and interpretation of the law. Once we see the context, we get a better understanding of why Jesus saw Pharisees as hypocrites.

If might be more accurate to apply this to churches who make up the own rules and laws, such as "canon law" to micro manage church members to do what church leaders demand instead of giving believes freedom to interpret the Scripture for themselves and to fellowship with Christ without being hindered by power seeking church leaders.
