I dont believe it's biblical and I can't imagine Jesus tormenting an extremely depressed soul after death. What say you?

Tough subject for those of us who’ve had friends, acquaintances, and family members take their own lives.I dont believe it's biblical and I can't imagine Jesus tormenting an extremely depressed soul after death. What say you?
It is not a blessing to kill.I dont believe it's biblical and I can't imagine Jesus tormenting an extremely depressed soul after death. What say you?
If God is a God of mercy, I don't believe he would torture such a person in Hell for eternity.I dont believe it's biblical and I can't imagine Jesus tormenting an extremely depressed soul after death. What say you?
I hope you’re not using that verse to justify committing suicide. If you’re contemplating such an act, please don’t. I want you to get help. Okay?John 12:25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
It’s like saying since stealing is wrong so is stealing from yourself. This is muddling of terms. Because murder means unjustified killing of another, there is no thing as self homocide. It’s nonsense..On the one hand, murder is a sin, so self-murder must be a sin.

Maybe this verse applies to the topic at hand.I would not want to encourage anyone to do anything except what is right by God. Suicide seems wrong, but so does a life of rebellion against God. And who among us is not guilty of ever being wrong? Either way God decides. Our lives are not really in our own hands. So, what, God allows suicide? Yes. Still it is give once for men to die, and the life--that life not actually in our own hands--whether short or long, is sufficient. Yet we are told to endure unto the end. Is that the end then? Surely suicide is like going to the front or perhaps the back of the line, like cheating. God decides.
Every sin is against God, and none, save One is without sin. Who have we cheated, God or ourselves? It would seem, both. Tomorrow could be better, could be worse. Still God decides.
Being without hope is not an oversight by God. Let us all be conveyors of hope--hope in God.
Post #3 was written from the standpoint of a man whose co-worker had a long-building mental breakdown and publicly took his own life in one of the nation’s busiest airports (it made the papers). From the point of view of a man whose wife had a friend whose suicide attempt was not very efficient, resulting in her lingering in the hospital for a month before finally succumbing to her self-inflicted injuries. From a man whose fellow church members had to raise their own grandchildren because their daughter gave in to the demons that haunted her. My purpose was to not add to the grief of those who have lost loved ones.No brother. Thank you nonetheless!

Should I quote John MacArthur saying that chronic despair is a sign that a person is not saved?
