[Polaris, aka North Star] Cannot ever be seen south of the equator, and when I was in American Samoa (Southern Pacific), for 5 years, and when power would go out on Island near Ili Ili (and frequently happened), the pure darkness allowed for very great viewing of the starfield, which has no Polaris, and the angle of Orion was entirely differing than in Northern California, where I was previously (for many years).

Yeah that may be, but Polaris not being visible from everywhere is also possible on a flat earth, to be honest. That's why I like to focus on arguments which prove only one point of view.

Interestingly, the text does not say the earth stood still. Perhaps because the earth is not what makes a day.

The deepest people have dug on record is the Kola Superdeep Borehole, which did not reach even 8 miles, which does not even surpass the so-called crust of the supposed globe earth. Having presumptuous answers does not make for a solid case.

Of course God could create a ball that moves around the sun. But He did not, He never said in His Word that He did. The enemy wants us to worship the sun. The occult worships the sun. Which is satan worship. But the sun is not the center of creation, the earth is.
