Revisiting because that kind of hurt my feelings. I still think Stephen misunderstood or I didn’t do well at saying what I was trying to say. I never meant it’s about intelligence or being educated….as you pointed out Jesus ministered in his time to largely illiterate. I believe that also! So it’s of God’s Wisdom and not of men. I agree!
I only meant as seen by all the ideas of the wrath of God and what it appears like, God can change our heart where even what wrath, vengeance, or revenge looks like can change. We can have a change of heart. For example if I thought it was being educated or a scholar I’d agree with them when Jesus comes from Edom, stained red with the wine fat, coming back from treading the wine press Isaiah 63:1-4 Who is this that comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. [2] Wherefore are you red in thine apparel, and your garments like him that treads in the winefat? [3] I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. [4] For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
…I also would say He slaughters so many that Jesus is stained red in their blood. I’ve always heard from educators that it’s an ugly murderous scene to come in the future of the wrath of God. To me that same passage speaks of His Love and Mercy for “His apparel is glorious” . I truly don’t think that came from smarts or intelligence or education except by learning of Christ who is the expressed image of God. To clarify …I ALSO think the illiterate is taught the Love of God apart from a bible book. And sometimes those scholars knowing Greek and every language and have all the degrees have a hard time letting go of their intelligence of “there will be so much blood it will rise to the horses bridle’ - still asserting God’s wrath is God slaughters people with a literal sword until He is spattered with all their blood. Like the last of the Mohicans blood bath. To them that is vengeance that stains His apparel so it’s Glorious. It hurt my feelings because I felt snubbed when I truly think regarding vengeance sometimes the perspective is “we need a Lion! Not a Lamb.” And sometimes its “we need a Lamb. not a Lion.” That was all I meant.

The Wrath of God - How is it love?
We have often heard about these two aspects
of God's character, His love and His wrath.
The concept is acceptable to many, citing biblical sources to confirm.
But to others it is troubling, noting that the character of God does not allow for such a contradiction.
Since God is love, His wrath also needs to be a manifestation of love.
But that's not the description given by many. They describe an anger driven rage, which is obviously not love.
How do we resolve this contradiction?

The 'wrath of God" is not Love, its Righteous Judgement against sin.
If you want to see God's Love, then Look at The Cross of Christ where we find God wrapped in Human flesh offering Himself for the sin of the world, (one believer at a time), so that they may escape the judgment due them for their sin.
If they wont have it, or if a deceiver like you leads them them to falsely believe, that "everyone is already reconcilled" then they will meet God after they die as their Eternal Judge and not as their Heavenly Father, because they were never born again on earth before they died.
They will face John 3:36 where God's Wrath is explained clear in the NT.

Gosh, you could at least thank me for pointing out your typo so that you could correct it.
18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 18-20)
In case you have any misunderstanding about what I believe: I have always maintained that Reconciliation, the restoration of a broken relationship, requires action from both parties. That's just how relationships work. God has done His part.

Yes, We, the born again are all "ministers of the reconciliation"......we are to share the Truth that God has offered Jesus for the sin of the world, so that by our FAITH, God will reconcile us unto Himself only based on the Blood Sacrifice and Death of Jesus on The Cross.
The "good news" of the Gospel, is that God is forgiving all sin, and ending all judgment against a sinner, IF the sinner will respond to the Gospel that is God's Grace.
The false teaching that is "universalism" teaches that no faith is required, no born again is required, (before you die)... because everyone is already reconcilled.
So, that is a LIE... a false Gospel..... Galatians 1:8
The reality is...
"our FAITH is counted by God as (Christ's) righteousness"... imputed to us.
"All who CALL on the Name of Jesus".. .by faith, will be "Saved".
Saved from what?
A.) God's wrath against sin.
AA.) Saved from Hell

See that ""Message"? That is Paul's Gospel. = "All who call on the name of Jesus, shall be saved"... and you have to do this before you die, as this Gospel is not offered in HELL.

God's wrath is simply Justice being served on those who have it coming.1200 people will be murdered today justice must be served not to mention all the other horrible crimes that will be committed today.

First it is not a contradiction.
A careful reading of Scripture shows that yes-God is love! but He is also fearsome, just, vengeful, holy, perfect etc. If you wish to just focus on His love you do not get to know who God is!
He demonstrated His love by sending Jesus to pay for our sin. If one rejects that- then they must face Gods justice! Gods wrath is His wrath, His love is His love- Just like you have both within you! You have both because mankind was made in the character of God, though we have so corrupted that image within us.

Yes my friend . GOD is love . And seeing HE desires not the death of the wicked but rather they repentance
HE has been VERY LONGSUFFERING .
BUT SOON HE will destroy the wicked
and in the new heavens and new earth EVIL will exist no more .
No more rape , no more diseases sick sin world , no more killing and etc .
NOW that is love . A NEW WO RLD wherein no more suf fering .
IT will BE ENDED ONE DAY , ALL wickedness will come to an end .

What you meant to take note of, is that when a Thread is offered on a "christian" forum that accuses God, then take note of this repeat offender and realize what you are dealing with......... if you can realize it.
If you can't realize it, then pay close attention to the people who do .
