How many on Earth by all the various religions tell their flocks you are saved or going to a higher existence after death? How many of the supposed Christian religions( 2 billion flock members, give or take) Are told and believe they are saved? Lets compare what Jesus teaches on that matter= Luke 17:26- Jesus is clear, here in these last days are no different than Noahs day= 99.9% mislead to destruction. Thus that comes out to maybe 9 million saved. Thus billions on Earth are serving false religion, being mislead to destruction. Best to take a step back and relook and make sure of all things. Satan has NEVER had less than 99% mislead all throughout the bible after the Eden rebellion.

Satan is doing this( 2 Cor 4:4--2Cor 11:12-15) to the entire Earth, Few have found the real Jesus.

I think if we compare the teachings and the way the early church lived. Then I think this kind of church would be completely different to todays church and many Christians.

It seems the church gradually compromised and let the world in. Its so in bed with the world that proposing the church should look more like the early church is regarded as unreal and out of date.

As the world has got better at making life more pleasurable and comfortable I think many have gone along as its easier. Everything about the world is luring and attractive and comfortable. So trying to live as the early church becomes harder and harder and against the grain of our natural desires and inclinations.

Therefore it would take a rare Christian today to give all the comfort and pleasure of the world and sacrifice ones self to live what would be a uncomfortable and conflicting life as far as what the world counts as good.

Do you think God would go contrary to his nature and send all the people in Noah's day to hell, all the while wanting them all to be saved.

There are many, many other passages in Scripture that speak to God's dealing with all the people, especially his stated desire to save all people. People don't go to hell because they have sinned, they go to hell if, and only if, they reject God's offer of salvation. If you don't understand this, you need to study about Christ on the Cross and to assist you in that, read this verse:

You have a body, soul, and spirit. The soul is your personality; it goes with the spirit. Only the body dies. I've had visions of the death of Christians and they "wake" up with Jesus there. Minus the physical body. You'll get the resurrection body later, but you'll have a spiritual body.

I do believe that your soul is your life i.e. your personality; it surely does die.

In the old testament, many times soul is mentioned refers to a human being. If you have a footnote on Ezek. 18:4, you see God is referring to a life. Behold, all lives are mine.

It is not "all lives are mine" it is "all souls are mine."

The same word soul (nephesh) is used in Gen 2:7.

Man did not become a livng life; man became a living soul.

When God takes that breath of life (that life giving spirit) back from man, man (body and soul) dies.
