So... God put Hitler in power knowing he would invade Poland in 1939, kicking off a world war that would take the lives of millions?
Moral issues aside, how does this not violate humanity's freewill if God is rigging elections?
God establishes the nations and their boundaries. God's goal is the growth of the kingdom of God in the earth.
So God changes times and seasons so as to make people search for Him. God appoints things to happen, always with purpose and intent.
Without God's help and push, no one searches for God.
