These are they who were to be remembered by God, their names being written in "the book of Remembrance". Malachi 3:16-18.

We can see the "many" in Rev. 6:9-11 receiving the Gift of the Holy Spirit (white robes) upon the Death and resurrection of Christ in Mat. 27:50-54.
All should recall that the Holy Spirit had NOT YET been permanently given to anyone of the OC until AFTER Christ's death and resurrection. John 7:38-39.

Actually the 144,000 equal the little flock( Luke 12:32) there are a few on Earth right now-Non Jewish, because Jesus cut the Jewish religion off at Matt 23:38-39--Unless they bless Jesus-They outright refuse to this day. Thus spiritual Israel is now who belongs to Jesus. Jesus did not speak to 7 synagogues in Rev 2 and 3. There is alot of symbolism in Revelation. Like Jewish males being virgins to women= Virgen's to false religion is reality, not women. Peter is 1 of the little flock-he was married, not a virgen to a woman. In the account of King Jehosaphat-He was a good king, yet failed to take down the high places( where true servants went and served false gods) God called that scenario-immoral intercourse--Thus false religions( babylon the great) is called a harlot( there are worse names than harlot) Thus having 0 to do with false religions is being a virgen to women in the Rev account.

In Rev. 1:1 we understand that the words of Revelation are:
1. Directly from the Father,
2. given to Jesus, who
3. gave it to the angel, and then
4. gave it to John,
5. to give to the 7 churches.

Issue #1- God the Father thinks His thoughts in the Past, the Present and the Future, all at the same time. Isa. 55:8-9.

Issue #2- because of #1, the book of Rev. is not only about the future since 96 AD.
Nor is it to be understood solely on a chronological basis.

Issue #3- having only pen and ink to write with on parchment paper, John did not write all 22 chapters in one sitting. Nor should we assume that the angel gave John the prophecies in an orderly progression. Many of the prophecies are independent from one another, even to the point of revealing different eras of the past and recent events of the present (96AD).

God is a Spirit. He does NOT inhale or exhale (breathe) the gaseous elements of Oxygen or Carbon Dioxide, even though He is the Creator of those elements.

However, while Adam was laying on the ground, after God created him out of the elements of the earth, to be an autonomous, physical living soul, God had to activate/cause Adam's pulmonary system to function.
In so doing, God caused Adam to inhale, thus Adam himself breathed in the Oxygenated AIR, of which EVERY newly created individual cell within Adam was craving for.
If each living cell had not received the life giving element of Oxygen, they each would NOT REMAIN ALIVE, since the moment God created THEM within Adam.
