But I don't think there will be such a thing as a Christian government.
"Rule with Christ for a thousand years" does not mean this.
Man’s governments are under the ruler of Satan till the "last day" or end of the world,because they are the son of Satan, they are not son of God.

When we look at the prophesy in Isaiah 9:6-7...
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore.The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” (ESV)

We see there that the “government” will be upon the shoulders of the “Prince of Peace”. That government is God’s Kingdom.....the one Jesus taught us to pray for.

“Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:9-10 ESV)

With the “coming” of God’s Kingdom, God’s name is “hallowed (or sanctified) and his will can then be done, “on earth as it is in heaven.” God’s Universal family will be united in peace under this Government.

The devil rules until God puts an end to his domination of the earth. The planet remains, and so will all those who put their faith and trust in God’s Kingdom, instead of the failed rulership of corrupt men. We can see the world heading for disaster, but it has to happen as it is prophesied. Nothing we can do will stop it.

This is the government of God under the leadership of his Christ, along with his elect, that will do what no human government ever could. (Rev 21:2-4) That is the government that Christians must support.

There was a similar case before, in the Vatican. It seems the outcome wasn't very good.

Jesus said there would be a “government” of God ruling the earth, so by extension this will be a “Christian” government because it is headed by Jesus and his elect.

In accord with Yahweh’s first purpose for mankind on this lovingly prepared planet, he will reinstate his own rulership, and promote the only true “religion” he ever sanctioned.....

After giving the devil an opportunity to prove that he would be the preferred ruler of mankind, by giving them whatever they wanted.....A&E chose to obey him, so he allowed them (and us) to experience the consequences of their actions.

No government ever instituted by man has ever succeeded because we were not designed to rule ourselves. Power corrupts us every time.

There was a similar case before, in the Vatican. It seems the outcome wasn't very good.

By what stretch of anyone’s imagination can you call the Vatican, a “Christian” government? The devil’s stamp was all over it, from its torture and bloodshed to the doctrinal travesty that still governs Christendom’s many fractured denominations, to this day.

This government’s rulers are incorruptible because they are chosen by God....not flawed humans.

So far very little if any US tax dollars going to this rebuilding deal that of course won't last long once the islamic terrorists start attacking and killing the "peace keeping force" causing them to withdraw so no construction can be done.

It shouldn't be too long before the moslems destroy this project. Islam loves them some destruction!
