Have you tried Kefir yogurt?
Yes, it's super easy. The process is pretty much the same. You just leave it out longer and it takes time to sift out the grains.

I've made kefir cheese, too. I can't really remember how I did it, but I'm pretty sure it involved straining through a nut milk bag.

It's a soft cheese, like cream cheese.

Have you ever tried milk kefir grains? They're so cool.

I ordered them again after milk started giving me trouble but I still wanted the benefits.

I use them to help my youngest with constipation. You leave the grains in milk for like a day and then strain it out and it's kind of like yogurt. You can also use it to make cheese, clean ranch dressing, the best pancakes in the world, etc.

This is the brand I use. You just keep refermenting and they double. I took a sip once when I let it sit too long and then all of a sudden my brain was super clear and AWAKE.

I don't know if it's true, but from what I read from one source nobody knows what it actually is or where it came from. It's just been passed down for centuries. Amazing probiotic.

Kefir doesn't sit well on my stomach for some reason. Hasn't for years. Same with certain yogurts. And I don't do sugar, so it isn't that. I did plain kefir, Greek, and Bulgarian style yogurts. But it got to where I just couldn't tolerate it.

That's too bad!

Have you ever tried monk fruit? I've heard it's healthier, but I don't know much about it.

I'm going to be delayed on responding, we're having a family night to spend some together time.

Monk fruit is my favorite sweetener. I do 99% carnivore, but when I make carnivore waffles, I like to use monk fruit as a sweetener. If you've ever tried powdered monk fruit, it's amazing ...better than actual powdered sugar ...zero calories. lol

Note: some people get an insulin response just from the sweet taste of monk fruit, stevia, allulose, erythritol, xylitol, etc ....so it should be considered. I'd go light on it for people who have issues with insulin ....although it's still much better than sugar.

I think it would be a good idea to explore and share information about natural health.

I'll begin with Blue Vervain. It has many benefits and uses, one being to treat PTSD.

@TLHKAJ

I realized a few days ago that YEARS AGO one of my doctors told me I was at risk of developing diabetes and to be careful. For whatever reason that didn't sink in. I don't know why. Anyway I didn't take care of it because of associations/poverty struck so I just got worse.

Last year, I had to start wearing special socks for diabetics. I couldn't figure out why. I kept falling asleep immediately after eating and having my heart race, feeling dizzy, and I didn't think this was connected to blood sugar. It didn't click for me.

Well, I ordered a glucose monitor which I'll start tracking next week. I don't think I'm diabetic but I'm going to track after my meals.

The very first thing that helped me was your advice... Meat. Steak and eggs for breakfast! I was able to continue the whole day without needing a nap and I had an eight hour shift.

I felt 10x better than usual and slept without RLS, so guess that high protein and no carbs/sugar for breakfast will continue being a thing. My head is so much clearer and I'm not having anxiety all day long.

Also, the collagen works great thank you for that, too.

Thank you!

Reader,

The #1 fat burning option is to join a Local Gym.
And if you will go, .. if you will make it a part of your lifestyle, then your life will be better and will continue to become even more so....

Playing around with diets and listening to every so called "food guru'" and "doctor" who have all this advice......is chasing the wind.

There are no short cuts.. The reality is........if you are very overweight, or just somewhat.......you had to do something to get there, unless you have a health issue.

So, just as you had to get to that place, you have to do something to change it......and a GYM Membership, is the absolute best means to change what you want to be changed.

I recognize that not everyone has the means or the opportunity or even the health to go to the gym, but most of us, are able to go, and you should.

BEHOLD : Going to a GYM is a fountain of youth like no other.

You'll feel better all the time.
You'll look better all the time.
Your sex life will improve all the time, for those of you who are currently active in this regard with your husband or wife.
You'll sleep better nearly all the time.
You'll think more clearly, consistently.
Your Stress will become easier to manage.
You'll live longer and enjoy life more, because of all of the above.
-
And lets say you are not a "people person" and you dont like to be around the peeps., and you think that a gym is going to put that pressure on you to perform.
It wont, and that is because no one in your local gym that you could join cares about what you are doing, you are basically invisable in a gym.. and that is because they are not there to chat with you, they are there to get their workout finished and leave, same as you.

And lets say you dont know what to wear......

Simple....wear Dark or Gray........dark T-shirt, dark shorts or long warm ups, and get some athletic shoes.
Avoid dressing as if you are a walking rainbow.......Go with the grays and the darks.
You can also find nice pre-owned Nikes for very little money on Ebay....for example.

Just do it.
Get up and do it.
Join one TODAY or Tomorrow.
Go for it. !
It'll change your life for the better and it does not take long for you to feel and see it for yourself = the improvment.
You'll be so very glad you did.

This thread is not a debate thread. @Behold no one is saying exercise is bad or unnecessary. Please read my OP and stay on topic. Eating sugar and high carbs is not healthy for anyone. That's the truth.

Most people have more important things to spend money on. I have exercise equipment at home and I stay active by caring for people and almost 100 animals, plus a large yard. Movement and sunshine ... proper hydration, highly nutrient dense food, and adequate sleep.

This thread is not a debate thread. @Behold no one is saying exercise is bad or unnecessary.

Read more carefully.
I offered no "debate".. I simply offered a real solution to the problem of "health".

See, there is much more required to find the road to perpetual "health" then 34,000 random UTBE videos on "best foods" or "drink more water" or "get more sleep". or "have you tried this Vitamin or Suppliment".
The fact is, our quality of life is mostly defined by our Health state, and our health state is defined by how we approach being healthy.

Some read books on nutrition, and then eat more grains and less carbs....... and some go "veggie and organic"......but that is only the beginning.

That is "intro to Newbie Health ponderings" Volume 1

We have to get past that, and get to the core of the problem, and the core of the health issue is usually found as a continuous "sedentary lifestye", and you can't resolve that with "diet changes" @TLHKAJ

See Heath is FREE until you get a little older and then it become more and more about MAINTANENCE all the way to the end of your life, and the GYM is where you practice HEALTH with the greatest amount of continuing success......., along with a healthy diet, ect.

If a person can't go to a Gym, then turn a room in your home into a Treadmill Station, and add some weights and so forth, and get busy growing healthy every day., as that Room is where you health is maintained.

I am a TOTAL believer in "God heals"......and one of the ways He Heals is to allow us to get busy staying healthy by doing some work outs., every day.

Now, many just want a magic pill, or a magic food, or magic suppliment instead, while they sit there and "flip the channels" for 12 hrs a day.........but that is not how you maintain your health.
That is how you destroy it while you "eat organic" on the way there.

Food isn't magic. Food is created by God to nourish the body. Scripture supports this.
Exercise isn't the whole solution, either. You can't exercise enough to make up for a bad diet. They both go together.

I've been working at improving my health and wellness. Some days I felt terrible, like death warmed over. No joke, I had zero energy. I didn't even feel like moving. Right now, I'm trying to improve my mitochondria. All disease/problems really begin at the cellular level. If your mitochondria are dysfunctional, it will have a trickle-up effect. One thing affects another, which affects another, and so on, but it all begins in the cells. So, it's about learning how to support your mitochondria. Mostly, it involves focusing on the fundamentals: diet, exercise, sleep, stress, supplements, etc. Right now, I'm experimenting with peptides and alternative therapies.

Why this dentist stopped prescribing fluoride for patients and advised nano-hydroxyapatite instead.
