What good is the NATO alliance if they don't honor their commitment to help when we're attacked?

Because I think NATO applies to strictly defensive wars. The USA was not preemptively attacked by Iran, so I don't think the clauses apply. Turkey though could actually ask for NATO backup.

Um, many of their nations don't have adequate navy projection capacities even if they wanted to, I think possibly same with Canada.

Even China and Russia couldn't single-handedly force the Strait of Hormuz open or so I read online, because they are not equal to the US military capabilities. Besides, Iran is also an enemy of Ukraine too....they are supplying drones to Moscow against Ukrainians

I support (or at least not oppose) taking out some players such as Hezbollah which is controlling Lebanon but I wish for peace sooner rather than latter. And VP Vance too is also very...silent about the Iran war recently.

For a moment, let's assume this is not typical lying war propaganda to get support for the war, but that it is true, then will Netanyahu go nuclear? Is he able? IMO, yes.

Is USA lured in this war to prevent Israel from doing so?

I heard today that the U.S. gets less than one percent of oil via the Strait of Hormuz.

Whereas other countries get 95%, 90%, 35% of their oil through the Strait. Most of it going to Asian countries. So it reasonable to expect them to help patrol the Strait.

I donated to MTG and no one likes war. The war with Iran has been necessary since 1979, not Iraq, Iran.
