Due to the recent war in Iran, I have gathered some information. The theologians in Iran would first study capitalism, communism, then Christianity, and finally the Quran.

I wouldn't say that they were learning with a critical attitude.

I suppose I could see a road to indoctrination that starts with the layman knowledge of islam attained just by living and practicing when growing up. Then a specialized course of anti-apologetics, demonizing Christianity and judaism. Concluding with radicalization.

Not sure about the economic system, probably a means to an end.

Isn't this also what Western Christianity does?
but never learning about the Quran.

It is the prerogative of parents to expose their children to Christianity or not. Many choose not to.

But everywhere you look Christian beliefs are undermined and supplanted. This is owing to the educational system and media.

I doubt there is such a thing as a radical Christian. The most you can do is lay down your life while standing for the truth. The least you can do is take up your cross and follow Jesus.

In the Quran, the term "they" is mostly used to refer to corrupt believers and corrupt Christians.
But perhaps for Muslims, it might more often represent the corrupt Christians.

Agree.

Agree.

The USA was founded on Christian Principles and Standards.
Don’t like it…?
Don’t come…
Or
Leave and go to where you like…

Absolutely….with a big emphasis on the twisted, deranged, Education system …embarrassing Failure.

Corrupted to what end? The devil wants to lead people from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. He does so in retaliation against God. Humans are but pawns to him, and he wants to get to God by hurting those he loves.

Muslims, when obedient to the Quran, will become radicalized. It is the Muslims corrupted by greed and apathy who are the least dangerous.

(Edit)
These could be more generously called the cares of this world. As they make Christians unfruitful, I also believe it makes Muslims ineffective.

In my opinion, the more those who claim to be Christians refuse to follow God's words, the more radical they will become. Because in their view, this is exactly what God has commanded them to do.

After all, we are all human beings. We are all prone to corruption and distortion, and we all use the meaning of the scriptures to serve our own purposes, whether we are so-called Christians or Muslims.

Then they cease to be Christian, as they follow some other spirit and not the one true God. Like it is written they will kill you and think they are offering God a service.

If it was God told you then so be it.
If it was men, I remain skeptical.
Like it is written they will kill you and think they are offering God a service.
It's the same for some Christian, they have became what they don't like to be.

Christians are to teach Biblical truth from the Bible that we become so familiar with truth from God, that we quickly know/understand the lies when we hear them.

Sadly, those who are Christians and Muslims who are devoted to a sect or leader, will even kill their own people over religious disagreements….and feel justified. Religious fervor can do that to people and so can political differences, with patriotic sentiment overshadowing Christian obedience to the teachings of the “Prince of Peace”.….civil wars are anything but civil….family members have slaughtered their own kin over those differing ideologies or support for a political leader.…and still assume that they are Christians….(1 John 4:20-21)
The two World Wars of last century saw Christians on one side killing their Christian brothers on the other….on whose side was God, when Jesus told us to “love our enemies”?

A true Christian will take their cues from the apostle Paul who was angry about the idols worshipped by the Greeks, but his address to the “men of Athens” was masterful…rather that take the high ground, and level harsh disagreement over their use of idols, and their alters….he saw one with the inscription…”to an unknown god”, so he used their own idols to tell them about a God who was unknown to them….the God of Jesus Christ.

If he had attacked what was sacred to them, he would have been rejected outright…so this is how we ought to address those with beliefs that are not like our own….with a measure of respect as we would want others to respect us. We can defend our faith without spewing hatred and personal insults, just because they believe differently. God gives us all that freedom.

In today’s world, people do not understand the difference between a “peacemaker” and a “peace keeper”….
but the difference is monumental.

Jesus said we had to be “peacemakers” which is a conscious effort not to disturb the peace of others by treating them harshly, but to seek to find common ground like Paul did, if we can.…never being the first one to provoke anger by a thoughtless comment.

In today’s world a “peace keeper” comes in a military tank with weapons and a uniform….these are peace enforcers but that is not the kind of peace that Jesus taught….an absence of war because someone has bigger weapons, leaves hatred and war simmering under the surface until it erupts again one day.

The peace that Jesus brings comes into the heart and removes the animosity and hatred. Even if Christians are mistreated, they don’t retaliate, “returning evil for evil”. (Rom 12:17-21) They endure even under the harshest conditions….

You always amaze me. You condemn others constantly and never look in your own yard. JANE- what about RELIGIONS LIKE YOUR OWN JWs? THEY ARE TOTALLY DEVOTED to the GB leaders who claim to be the only ones who can understand scripture and speak for God so you must obey all they say- and HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE including CHILDREN DIED NEEDLESSLY due to a FALSE TEACHING ABOUT EATING BLOOD? You can't be serious here. This is utter hypocrisy. Beware of those scales you use Jane. The LORD JESUS JUDGES ALL OF US and that includes YOU. Jehovah hates uneven scales! Think..

Yes, Paul used a pagan statue to win the pagans to Christ. JOHN also used a pagan teaching - LOGOS to bring people to Christ meeting people where they are-- LOVE. Anything to win the lost. Do you suppose that we should shun the LOGOS with it's pagan origins?
Educate yourself on this.

This is hilarious coming from you. If anyone read even 1/8 of your jargon you are constantly condemning Christians. Do you own a mirror?

There are more ways than one to murder. You murder with your mouth. You attack constantly. Your religion is a farce. you can not die to pay up your sin debt to become sinless! Your teachers are blind as can be and should be nowhere near the scriptures.
THEY HAVE KILLED MANY with a FALSE BLOOD TEACHING FOR DECADES & said it was God's will!!!!
they are LIARS, Jane.
please wake up! I think that maybe you do want to serve God-- but your religion is a death cult and is not of God.

Such similar statements - whether for the Quran or for other Christian denominations - all claim that these do not come from the one true God.

Who really Is?
Oh,I know only the book stands for the one true God.

we all use the meaning of the scriptures to serve our own purposes,

Absolutely.

It’s called cherrypicking.

To cherrypick means to choose the most suitable that applies.

All scripture IS True.
Scripture reveals “Truths that apply…”
To the Faithful…
To the Committed Saved Faithful…
To the Unsure…
To the Ignorant…
To the Hopeful…
To the Braggarts…
To the Deniers…
To the False Accusers…
Etc.

So Yes…while All Scripture “IS TRUE”,
It does NOT APPLY the Same to every individual.

Every individual has FREEWILL to Select, to Elect, to Choose, to Do… as they Desire Which Scripture Shall Apply to THEM.

Glory to God,
Taken

Did you study the Quran ?

If you did, then you KNOW it's a copy and paste job from the Old Testament with some changes. They even hijacked Jesus (Isa) but not one of His sayings is in the Quran.

It's a fraud.

Yes, agreed. It is the dogmatism that, extreme dogmatism that bothers me. How can any Christian think they got it all correct, without ever honestly seeing evidence to the contrary? "If even the very elect..." It is easy to fool those who think they stand. That goes for all Christians...I pray to have discernment yet, I still check myself and ask God to show me where and if I am wrong about anything. We have lost true humility :(

There is too much need to talk about. But you never know.Till you Face the one true god. face to face.

never say never
The "one true god" is Jesus. Allah is Satan leading Muslims to Hell Fire.
