Why not just read a modern version?
If the Lord can use an ass (Baalim’s) to speak, then he can certainly use counterfeit bibles. But that’s not the point. Why eat junk food when you can feast on the pure word of God? The NKJV and all modern copyrighted versions of the Holy Bible contain some of the word of God. The Holy Bible itself is the word of God. Satan knows those who have been fed a depleted diet are no threat to his kingdom.

Another example is found in those who would adhere to a denomination for their sustenance, rather than to the King himself. Catholics don't believe in abortion, which most think is a righteous stance. But the reason why they don't abort is not because God says it's wrong, but because their pope says it's wrong. So, for Catholics, avoiding abortion will not be counted as a righteous act by God because they're doing it in obedience to the wrong master. IOW, there is a form of obedience that leads to death: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

We’re even to the point now where many, who would say with their lips they are saved, are actually workers of iniquity. The Holy Bible describes this time in detail. These people are smug in their deception.

We need to understand that as the most subtle beast of the field, Satan does much good in his overall plan of evil, lest he would soon be exposed and thus disempowered.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But, A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. Praying for discernment and wisdom can help you to avoid the deception.

From the OP:
There is propaganda pushed today against those who rely on the 1611 King James Bible instead of the more modern English Bible translations like the ASV, RSV, ESV, NIV, NKJV, NLV, etc.
Also, every "modern version" is copyrighted, meaning some man claims ownership over it, as it is his invention. The words MUST be changed in order to qualify for copyright protection ($$$). The big question is: who is changing which words and why...

I will go to church and the message outline will be presented on a screen. I don’t know what version the text is based on but know it reads differently from mine. I would think it rude to ask the speaker what version he is reading out of so I don't ask. I still have the KJV Open Bible given to me by the Freewill Baptist church decades ago. That church has been long ago closed up and I miss the people. The KJV Open Bible will always be a treasured possession of mine.
If I were to meet a KJVO believer as fanatical as I chances are we would not be in agreement over some point of doctrine.

Well, being extreme and unquestioning about anything is not desirable. But the real bugaboo is the pejorative KJVO label.

These Satanic claims of yours are just ridiculous. Like seriously. Their just modern translations. Claiming them to be Satanic is an erroneous misconception to say the least

Satan's first recorded words: Yea, hath God said...? Satan is still questioning the words of God today.

If you are a believer, then it is important for you to know its consequences.

The following scriptures concern the changing of the word of the God:

Deuteronomy 4:2; Deuteronomy 12:32; Proverbs 30:16; 1 Corinthians 4:6 and Revelation 22:18–19.

Deuteronomy 4:2 warns the people of the God not to add or minus from the word of the God, because the consequence is that they will not be able to obey the word of the God, which has been distorted.

Proverbs 30:6 warns that those who change the word of the God, the God will reprove them and they become liars. We know from Rev 21:8 that liars will never be able to enter into the kingdom of the God.

1 Cor. 4:6 warns that those who change the word of the God will become puffed up or arrogant.

Revelation 22:18–19 give the most comprehensive warning of the consequences of any believer who changes the word of the God, particularly the Book of Revelation, by adding or deducting from it.

NOTE THE CONSEQUENCES!

pejorative
Pejorative - a word expressing contempt or disapproval.

There are three spiritual values young people are born with

1. Acceptance
2. Approval
3. Appreciation

To become unique is to shun the acceptance, approval, and appreciation of others. So to be held in contempt over some belief ought not be that bad of a thing. Here is a young associate pastor doing a good job covering the subject...

All translations are changing the word in one way or another. You would have to learn Hebrew if you wanted to read the original version of the OT or learn Greek to read the original version of the NT.

Claiming a translation to be Satanic is false claim in my opinion

My preference is the KJV but don't mind using say the NASB to help clear up the understanding of a word.
As yet, I have not found a Bible that distorts the SAVING GOSPEL for today >> 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 and isn't HOW TO ENTER eternity the MOST IMPORTANT thing to know 'today' ?

As far as the KJV... Yes... It is my preferred version...

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. - 1 Corinthians 11:16

If those who read it are contentious and wanting to squabble all day about doctrine, then I would know why people have a problem with it.

If a verse says AN Apostle, does that teach you there are more than one to a particular audience ?
If that same verse say THE Apostle, then what does that mean to you ?
eg Your car is insured, registered, invoiced and paid by only you.
Are you THE owner of that car or AN owner ?

We have a men's Bible study on Wednesday morning that I sometimes attend. Our gracious host, Phil, will want a nice conversation and will give others the honors of leading the Bible study. There is a guy named Mike who is terrible contentious. When Phil lets him speak he has to change gears with him as Mike will go off as if the whole world is wrong except him. I invited them to Pentecostal Holiness camp meeting and they went one time. I believe the speakers came across as too "King Jamesy" and they didn't return back. There is a fear some people have over the KJVO bunch that may be justified.

you should not be reading TRANSLATIONS or VERSIONS. All of us should be studying from the NT manuscripts

Translation it is that openeth the window, to let in the light; that breaketh the shell, that we may eat the kernel; that putteth aside the curtain, that we may look into the most Holy place; that removeth the cover of the well, that we may come by the water, even as Jacob rolled away the stone from the mouth of the well, by which means the flocks of Laban were watered [Gen 29:10].

1611 KJV Preface

@KUWN your wisdom is odious to me.

@marks,

This post from @doctrox supports my observation that KJVO seek to replace the trinity with a quartney. Notice how he equate God's words with a translation?

I like to use different modern versions cos we often get different perspectives.

For I am the Lord, I change not (Mal. 3).

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Heb. 13).

I wish that were so but that is not what he wrote and that is not where the fanaticism of KJVO comes from. It's like they believe the trinity ought to be replaced with a quartnery.

  4. KJV
Because the Lord does not change, we cannot change a translation from archaic language forms. Wow!

Why are you tagging me with this nonsense? Obviously some people with some problems turned you away from the KJV, but that didn't happen to me, and after decades of study and comparison I've gravitated to the King James, and why do you care so much?

That you try to make us all into idolators?

Where is the love in that??

Much love?

I am KJVO...

1. King James Version
2. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

But... What kind of company am I in these days?

You are among these...

Amos 8:9-13
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

11
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

12
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
