The desire of the LORD was not the death of the wicked but rather he had repented .
But this is not the desire of satan .
THIS IS WHY GOD sent the SON so that all WHO DO B ELIEVE IN HIM would not perish but have everlasting life .
This is why The apostels preached JESUS and the DIRE NEED TO REPENT AND BELEIVE ON HIM .
And this is why the devil preaches ecumeincal intefaith , cause HE DO DESIRE THEIR DEATH
so he is gonna preach a false love , a false solution , a its okay if one believes not on JESUS FAT LIE .
That is why the devil makes it seem like all is gonna be just fine in the end whether one BELIEVED ON JESUS or not .

Do you know what a martyr is? Someone who wants to live, but will not kill his enemies to avoid being killed by them.
Jesus told us what to do:
Turn the other cheek.
Love your enemies.
Do good unto those who abuse you.
Pray for those who persecute you.
Resist not an evil man.
Blessed be the peacemakers.
Put away thy sword.

Some martyrs give up their life willingly, but not all. Most are killed not because they want to avoid killing their enemies (in self-defense) but because they are powerless to defend themselves. Christ's command to turn the other cheek and love your enemies is how we should treat one another on an interpersonal level. But that doesn't infer that we should allow them do us physical harm. There is no commandment that we should "willingly" allow ourselves to be harmed. God put a survival instinct into every living creature for a reason. Even the most docile animal will fight back if cornered. I would also note that the same Jesus who said to turn the other cheek and love your enemies is the same Jesus who overturned the money changers' tables and drove them out with a whip.
Jesus said, Resist not the evil man.
Christian martyrs were powerless to defend themselves because they refused to own weapons.
Jesus whipped the animals, not humans.

This violates Christ's command to buy a sword!
The Crusaders were Christians and they owned weapons and many were martyred.
Matthew 5:39 is a condemnation of vengeance\revenge\retaliation, especially as it relates to personal insults or offenses. However, there is a distinction between that and self preservation. One is expressly condemned, the other is not.
Some Christians served in the Roman army even prior to Constantine. Cornelius is one example. So, clearly, some Christians did have access to weapons and were not afraid to use them.
Okay then, here's another. Jesus will return with the armies of heaven to strike down the nations and rule them with a rod of iron. The hem of His robe will be dipped in blood from waging war against the Antichrist and his minions (Rev 19). He doesn't return as a sacrificial lamb but as a roaring lion, arrayed for battle. You can't regard one and disregard the other. They are both sides to the same Jesus.

You will also find some who are the same way for the liberal left .
I have LONG f led all politics . There is only CHRIST for me my friend and ONLY HE shall i point too .

sadly most of our churches now decieve .
But GOD is not man that HE can lie . IN HIM , IN CHRIST we can safely PUT ALL OUR TRUST and all OUR HOPE .

Jesus said 2 swords were enough, not for defensive combat against the Roman troops coming to arrest Him, for that would be woefully insufficient.
Plus, Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world, so His servants would not fight.
The 2 swords were just to make the Romans reckon Him among the transgressors.
