About 380 Americans were killed by blunt instruments last year. Data indicates that two of them were killed by illegal immigrants using blunt instruments. Very roughly less than 1% of such murders were by illegal immigrants.

About 14% of people living in the United States are illegal immigrants. So illegal immigrants are less than 1/14 as likely to kill someone with a blunt instrument as are native born Americans.

Which pretty well matches other statistics for immigrants and violent crime.

Haiti is pretty much run by gangs now. Criminal gangs control approximately 90% of Port-au-Prince. They also control most of the North. I work closely with a ministry there and the problems are worse than what is reported. The UN has basically done nothing and people are being murdered and driven from their homes. I don't have a problem with granting Haitians TDS status. The people are starving and in great affliction. No one really cares because they have no oil or other resources. They are left to die. Please pray for that nation.
