A person who is born again, has been accepted by God based ONLY on their Faith in Christ that they Gave God.
Now, even someone like you can understand that they have not yet performed any "WORKS".. yet they are become a Christian, already.
If you can't understand this, then until you do, you'll continue to be confused about God's Salvation that is...

"Grace through faith".>>"without works or deeds of the law"... @JohnDB
You are playing semantic games bordering on blasphemy.

SERVICE IS WORKS. THEY ARE SYNONYMOUS

Once you understand that God saves you, through faith.....then you'll understand Salvation.
Currently you dont understand it.

Consider that a SINNER, is in church on Sunday, and goes to the Alter and trusts in Christ.
See that?
They have given God their Faith, and God has saved them.......and given them the new birth = Born again.

Now, have they done any works yet?
No.
Yet they are now become a Christian, because God accepted their Faith to save them.
So, they are now born again, a CHRISTIAN, and they are ready to do some works.........having already become a Son-Daughter of God, a CHRISTian.

Ummmm
I'm not the one playing semantics....
What Paul describes as quarreling over words.

You are warned....do it again OR continue to go on with how you are so innocent and I put you on ignore. You will have no one to interact with once I do.

What Paul describes as quarreling over words.

Im not quarreling over words.
Im showing you that God justifies a sinner by faith......not by works.,. Paul teaches.

"we are beome the Children of God by Faith"...........not by works... Paul teaches.

When you understand this, then youi'll understand "Grace through Faith'........or "Justification by faith".

You are warned....do it again OR continue to go on with how you are so innocent and I put you on ignore.

What you posted makes no sense.

You will have no one to interact with once I do.

Im not lacking "interaction" here on the Forum.

What you posted is stupid.

Do us both a favor and put me on ignore, and that way i can correct your theology for others to find, and i wont have to listen to your ignorance.

Im not lacking "interaction" here.......little fella.
But what i prefer is a real bible student, and you are not that one.

So, do us a favor, put me on ignore, and run along. @JohnDB

Analysis of demonic "Universalism".

1.) Doctrine of Devils
2.) Designed to keep people from becoming a Christian on earth, so that they die and go to Hell.

Rubbish.
What we would expect, considering the source.

Considering that your 'Universalism" Gospel is of the Devil, and is designed to prevent a sinner from being born again on earth befor they die, which sends them to Hell........therefore id say your source is no different that you.

When will you stop lying about me?

You've told this forum all about your "Universalism" Gospel.
How many Threads talk about it, that you've posted. ?
How would i know all about this, had you not enjoyed telling us many times about your Universalism cult theology.
See,, all i do is remind you that you teach it, and i define it perfectly for the members.

So......There is no "lie" involved, on my part.
There is just you trying to deceive people @St. SteVen
Ive noticed that you have no conscience about it at all. Not now, not tomorrow.

Right Mr "LOL< im under the radar" here on the forum...""
Remember your own words??

Universalism teaches that ultimately, all people will be saved and reconciled with God, meaning everyone will go to heaven, including those who died DAMNED for Their Christ Rejection, and are this....... John 3:36, and are in Hell right now.

Whereas the NT teaches that you must be born again, forgiven you sin on earth, before you die and go to Hell.

So, your false Gospel is a devout Satanic Lie (Galatians 1:8) that is designed to cause a non Christian to stay that way, being told that they will eventually go to heaven.
So, this is a demonic Gospel that leads unbelievers to Hell, and its your Gospel.
You are way too late to try to deny it now.

Salvation is based on :

God's Grace
Christ's Sacrifice
Faith

Take any of those away, and you have no Salvation.
Add to any of those and you have denied The Cross.

Now, if a person goes to Hell.....its because they died in their sin, and that becomes in Eternity, = the unpardonable sin, because there is no forgiveness found for you if you have died in your sins.......unforgiven.
And the way you die in your sins, is to never be forgiven, which means you died a Christ rejector, never born again.
You have committed the Unpardonable sin and died.
And if you read Heb 10:26, you read where Jewish Christ rejectors are committing the unpardonable sin of rejecting theirr Savior, thei Messiah.......Jesus The Lord.

So, THAT PERSON... Jew or Gentile, if they die today or tomorrow or yesterday, is now in Hell.

And what are they doing, Reader.?
They are trying to get out......... And how are they trying to get out of Hell?
They are telling God.....>"OH GOD< i DO BELIEVE.. OH GOD....I DO TRUST IN CHRIST">.... and God ignores them., forever.
FOREVER.
Why?
Because once you are in HELL, you SEE Hell,.... and you KNOW you are in it. .....So that is PROOF that God, and Hell and JESUS are all REAL.
And now you KNOW IT because you SEE IT....and that is not FAITH........That is "seeing is believing" and God requires FAITH in what you can't SEE to save you.......And that is why you have to TRUST in CHRIST before you DIE....as this way, you are believing in what you can't SEE, and that is Genuine FAITH that God accepts.

Receiving Jesus. - What does it mean?

Maybe you went forward. And you prayed the prayer. You received Jesus. Now what?

Or perhaps you took a different route to connect with Jesus? Now what?

Let's focus on the idea of receiving Jesus. What does it mean?

Below is a key verse to work from.

John 1:11-12 NIV
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God—

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- So you received Jesus: what does it mean?
- What needs to change?
- What will spiritual growth look like?
Spiritual Growth, as well as "receiving Jesus" will never be found written by carnal people whose Threads and Posts falsely accuse God of being a "Tyrant", or ask if "the bible floats like soap".
You know who im talking about ...right @St Steven.?
You're comprehending me, right Mr "Parody"?
See you there next time.
To receive Christ means that you've received the revelation that you are a sinner needing to be saved and Jesus is the only Way there.
It simply means that the person has placed their Faith in Christ.
Faith : Is TRUST.
No yes or no answer expected!!!
