John 14:2
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
To this?
You are clueless!
No Brag!

Just FACT!
Oh dear…..who was Jesus talking to? There were no mansions….sorry, just living quarters, an “abode” is what the original said….
Where was he going to “prepare a place” for them? Literal Israel? No sorry, he was speaking about heaven…the place he went back to in order to wait for the right time to bring them to their now abode. He would come back for them but not to literal Israel…..this was “heavenly Jerusalem”.

“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.” (Heb 12:22-24 ESV)

Who is clueless? Do you study the Bible at all?
No brag? What is there to brag about in error devoid of facts? Go and do some study…..you might learn something about the nation you are supporting.
Go and ask some devout Jews about when Messiah is coming….?

What makes you think that God is interested only in that tiny “blue spot” any more that he is interested in the whole world

Those that actually know the Lord and His Word know the answer.
Those that don't, sadly they don't.

He is here, doing what he said he would

What's the address to His Office... ???

You're not gonna say it's at 1020 Red Mills Road in Wallkill New York are ya? hmmx1:

what do you think the Jews did to Jesus?

JWs are like the people who persecuted Jesus as they reject the Doctrine of Christ too

I was a slave in Christendom myself once

So you joined a cult. Too bad for you.

Be careful that you are not speaking the same kind of lies that the devil has promoted for centuries.

I'm not JW so I'm not spreading the devil's lies.

So, did you hear ab out the guy that had to join the jehovah's witness protection program?
He had to go door to door telling everyone he was somebody else! :Laughingoutloud:

Yes! Oh dear........You started off cold......then swerved into warm territory.....then went completely off the rails.

Apparently, all your Bible studying has gained you is that you know OF Him!
And? You can quote chapter and verse, showing everyone that reads your posts, you know OF Him!
Yet? Despite all your biblical knowledge?
You don't KNOW Him! :shockedx

Sarcasm and childish responses are hardly a defence for your unscriptural position.

Where is the Scripture telling us that literal Israel is important to God or his Christ? (Matt 23:37-39)

Please tell us where the destruction of property and innocent life, with the use of weapons of mass destruction are sanctioned by God in the Middle East today? If God was defending literal Israel at this time, they would need no foreign support......God has his own army, so if one angel can take out 185,000 armed soldiers, who came against his people in ancient times, in one night, where is he today?

Your support for this blood guilty political nation is misplaced......America supports Israel with entirely selfish motives.
It misapplies Scripture to imagine blessings from God by doing so.....and it also profits from the sale of weapons and armaments......wake up...the devil is having a lend of you.
The red herring is not going to lead you where you imagine it will....all the politics in this world profit the ruler of it. (1 John 5:19)

What if it’s you who doesn’t KNOW him?
Don’t you need to ask...”what’s in this for America?”......read my last post and see that you are supporting the wrong “Israel”......“the Israel of God” (Gal 6:16) are those who are not “returning evil for evil” because they are unarmed and at peace with all their brotherhood in the world. As citizens of God’s Kingdom, they do not hold citizenship or allegiance to any earthly kingdom. (Rom 12:17-21) They will die for their King, but they will not kill for him.

You conquer evil with good according to that Scripture.....you don’t drop bombs on innocent people.

“Vengeance is mine, I will repay says the Lord”....what do you think that means?
When God is at work...you will know it’s Him....not by the puny, ineffective efforts of sinful man.

Did you know that there is a groundswell of support for the Palestinians? There was an active group in my town petitioning for Israel to be punished and held accountable for the blood they have shed and the lives they have taken....not everyone sees them as you do.

see that you are supporting the wrong “Israel”......
Yes!
Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith, and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth. (Titus 1)

There is only one "Israel" to be supported, and that Israel is the Church of Jesus Christ.

The body of Christ is the only Church, no other. Ephesians 1:22-23 - And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Yep, in the book of James we see reference to those that accept that Jesus exists knowing "about" Him and that level of faith is the kind of faith the demons have as they shake in fear knowing their time is short.

I wonder if Ant Jane has read any of the books published by former JWs explaining why and HOW they got out of the JW cult and became Real Christians.

If anybody has Anyt Jane's mailing address, PM it to me and I'll find one of the books to mail to her to help her get enlightened by the True Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. We'll all keep Anyt Jane in our prayers :gd

This is because after repeatedly reading and understanding the Bible, I recreated the Ark of the Covenant based on ergonomics, and then looked at the restored Ark of the Covenant of the Israelites. It was completely lacking in beauty.
I do it with all my heart, mind, soul.

They do it by tradition.

I recreated the Ark of the Covenant

This is meaningless under the New Covenant which is where Christians live

the Ark of the Covenant is a non-issue and of zero benefit for New Covenant believers

God's power is in the Holy Spirit now, not the Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant is an interesting item in Israel’s history....it is described in the Bible, but we don’t know exactly what it was like, but we do know what the Bible says about it.

Your depiction is beautiful but one thing I noticed is the angels appear as feminine.....angels were also portrayed by the Catholic church as feminine, but in the Bible, angels are always depicted as male....strong able bodied men, showing that they had power. It’s interesting how illustrations can convey things in error. They also portrayed Jesus as feminine...a weak man rather than the perfect human specimen that he was. By portraying him that way, as a weak defeated man, dead on a cross...or as a helpless baby in a manger, the strong manly Jesus is transformed into a weak feminine or infantile figure. How sad.

It was God himself who designed the Ark, and the makers of the various parts had to follow his instructions to the letter, after all, it was a central and paramount object of the tabernacle, and the whole camp of Israel.

The chest itself measured 2.5 cubits long, 1.5 cubits wide, and 1.5 cubits high (c. 111 × 67 × 67 cm; 44 × 26 × 26 in.). It was made of acacia wood, overlaid inside and out with pure gold.
An artistic “border of gold” served as a crowning wreath “round about upon it.” The second section of the Ark, its cover, was made of solid gold, not just wood overlaid with gold, and was the full length and breadth of the chest. Mounted on this cover were two golden cherubs of hammered workmanship, one at each end of the cover facing each other, with heads bowed and wings extending upward and overspreading the Ark. It must have been a beautiful thing to behold, but the Israelites were not to make it an object of worship, so it was contained within the “Most Holy” compartment of the tabernacle.....only Moses and later the High Priest could enter that compartment where the cloud and the light represented God’s presence.

No one was allowed to see it or touch it under penalty of death. It was always covered in transit and strictly carried by the priests with poles inserted into rings on its side.

What became of the Ark of the Covenant? No one knows what became of the Ark....The final mention of it is in Rev 11:18-19...is speaking of the time of the end when Jesus passes judgment upon earth’s inhabitants, and rules as king......a time of great upheaval.....it says of Yahweh....

“But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.
19  And the temple sanctuary of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple sanctuary. And there were flashes of lightning and voices and thunders and an earthquake and a great hail.”

The Ark was no longer on the earth, but seen in the heavenly Temple of God....obviously the spiritual representation of it, as no material objects exist in heaven.

An interesting item to study..

In fact, it is an angel for a man and an angel for a woman. The one on the left is for a man, and the one on the right is for a woman.
My idea originated from some divine inspiration. At 2.5 elbows, it's just the right distance for two angels facing each other to place their hands together in prayer on that cabinet. I can't think of any other possibility other than praying.

After all, even if humans achieve immortality, they will still be divided into men and women, and will be like angels.

They have much large pervert parades in the US so what's your point?
My post states "the largest .. in the middle east." For a tiny nation, it's pretty huge! You should research and you'll find that Israel is at the helm of the world's human/sex trafficking rings, with many nations like the US in league with them and participating in such things.

My point is, as per the title of this thread, Christians shouldn't support Israel ....NOR should they be supporting the corruption in their own countries, wherever they preside. Scripture calls God's people to COME OUT of her/Babylon.

Only the woke "christians" believe one can be a pervo and still be saved.
Then we have a lot of woke "christians" on this forum who think they're saved, but support and praise pedophiles (one in particular) in high places.

Angels do not have gender in the spirit realm, as gender is only for reproduction…..angels were not the product of reproduction, but were individually created as “sons of God”. They only presented as male in the flesh because women were not prominent in Jewish culture in the same way that men were…very few women had positions of authority in those ancient times…..the Bible names them but there are many more men who were given headship over their wives.
No women were priests in Israel, and only one tribe could be chosen as priests. A woman’s role was very much subservient to men in those times.

We see a shift in the way Jesus treated women with respect and dignity, which is what made him so attractive to them with his kindness and compassion, so sadly lacking in their religious leaders.

Gender today has become an issue…a very divisive one, threatening to split long established denominations in Christendom….yet the Bible is very specific about it….only those who want to dictate to God want to water down his word and standards will lobby for it…..he will not change to accommodate deviant sexual inclinations….but neither will he condemn those who have that leaning, but who resist it out of obedience to God.
