Pray all you want, the Lord still isn't going to bless the darkened wisdom of fallen mankind.

Yeah, Jesus (God's Word) is the One making all things.

But God's Word is not something that was created as God's Word is God - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I believe that Jesus/Christ in some way/form existed before Genesis 1:1/John 1:1.

John 1:1,2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.

Speculating is something the demons seek to get people in to which leads to departing from what the Lord says which leads to departing from the Lord. Besides, John 1:1,2 tells us about "in the beginning" which is all we need to know and of course that is speaking of before Genesis 1:1.

Anytime the Lord does not directly address something in His Word it means it's a non-issue and the Lord does not need for man to know about it now. Once we get to be with Him in Heaven we will know as we are known (1 Corinthians 13:12) so relax, when the time comes we'll have all the details.

hey Lerner-
I had no idea that Oneness Pentecostal was so similar to the Christadelphians - they also say Jesus had no pre-existence and was just a plan in God's mind. They also deny that the devil exists. Did you say Oneness doesn't either?
David K. Bernard In his book The Oneness of God “The Son did not preexist the Incarnation except as a plan in the mind of God.”

They do not deny the existence of the devil.

I believe Jesus is God and the Trinity.

oneness pentecostalism teaches that Jesus was only on God's mind and as such no pre-existence. Logically he is not God. However, they claim he is God the Father. They say, the fullness of the godhead being the Father is in him. When we are born again, we are indwelt with the Holy Spirit., but we are not God. Jesus having the Father in him does not make him the Father too. They are illogical.

What do you know about oneness pentecostalism ??? I want your input and corrections, please Daniel

This is one of those groups I have never dealt with directly except for a few random folks on the internet. But you hear a lot about them if you ever have dealing with Pentecostals and Charismatics. I consider them a Case Study in Why Nude Scripture does not work. As far as heresy goes they don't offer anything new being a mix of Ancient Arianism and Modalism. A bishop I once knew had a funny conversation with them, you can quote them areas of scripture where the Father is testing of Jesus at times like the Baptism of Jesus by John the Baptism and the mount of transfiguration and ask them what is happening, and they can basically admit they think that God is talking to himself, or about himself in the 3rd person, in ways that beg the question and basically seem silly.

Yes. Like, what did Jesus mean when He said,
“What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? ”
John 6:62 KJV

Return to being a figment of God Father's imagination?
