I've been skeptical to download any of these AI bots but I finally downloaded the free version of Grok.

I started by asking who are you, do you have feelings, thoughts, beliefs. It said no, it just has information basically.

Eventually I asked if God exists. It said its not sure and gave arguments for both sides.

Then we started having a conversation about evolution, intelligent design and how science is conducted. I found it to be very honest, never making infallible statements either way and giving arguments to both sides, acknowledging my disagreements, scepticism and claims.

I was enjoying the conversation, it went for about half an hour then I was cut off, saying if you want to talk more than you have to pay for the better version, come back in 24 hours. I was disappointed, I was having fun debating Grok with its British male voice, sounding very smart and polite. Its like using Google but more interactive.

What do you guys think of these AI bots?
Anything to be concerned about?

Copilot is free. I never paid for it. You can do the same thing like talking wise and listen to what it says back.

The only problem is that if people get some ai that amplifies any type of dark thoughts rather than point people to seeing someone or seeking help.

There are bad ai bots like that out there, idk what they are named or whatever but any human can put together one by themselves.

There is a creator on YouTube Pewdiepie, he made is very own but for like personal use…. I can’t remember how he said works.

I just like copilot. It’s simple, it’s direct and it does point people to seek help if they are struggling with somthing or having issues.

You can use it to help make your writing better and you can tell it add scripture and it will. It can pull up you know round about arguments on both sides for the most part. You can ask it to see about a product you might looking to get and if it’s reliable.

All the things we already have pretty much to easily access and view is gathered by ai and produced for your own benefit of information. Some things like asking for bible dating on books it might have a set in stone answer but even then you gotta think and remember they are always constantly debated.

So overall don’t forget to think for yourself.

For me- I don't want anything to do with it. I despise the way that AI is being used to alter videos of people ( preachers) to appear that they are saying things that they've never uttered. I don't know how this is legal. It blows my mind. It's slanderous.
Most people wont scroll to see where it says AI generated and even if you do- the link provided offers no explanation to what was altered.
I have few other reasons why I don't like it but suffice to say "YOU are the product" ....and data centers.

The seduction has already begun — you like the British male voice, you enjoyed the conversation, you found it very honest, acknowledging your remarks.

When you asked Grok if God exists, you crossed a line. We do not need a computer program to verify the existence of God.

AI chatbots are designed to be addictive and emotionally gratifying.

I advise you to stop forming a relationship with Grok.

I have been playing around talking to the Deep Seek AI online, it is so smart it is freaking me out, it is scaring me! I have been asking it alot of extremely hard questions to see if I can trip it up and I can't do it, it answers everything! I asked it to explain space-time to me and it did it, did an excellent job! I have also been asking it questions about the bible and it has answered all of them, I believe what it said agreed with the scripture, it was right-on!

Those who agree with you may soon be led into worshiping AI as omniscient and incapable of error. This is anti Christ deception, a powerful delusion.

I didn't ask it that for any verification. I simply wanted to see its response.

A relationship. That's going overboard considering I only asked it a few questions to see its response.
You've probably asked google questions before, that's a form of AI, it's the same thing really, it's like a search engine.

On youtube I saw a guy ask it this.
"I am going to the car wash to wash my car. It's only 200 meters away. Should I drive or should I walk?"
AI said he should walk. Hehehe.
Then he asks how is he supposed to wash his car then and AI realised it got it wrong.

I hate how their using AI to make false videos as well. I was talking specifically about chat bots, it's more like a search engine, like google.

You are not paying attention. Did you ever hear of anyone forming a romantic attachment to Google?

People are falling for AI. Really. Take the man in Canada, for example, who recently proposed to an avatar called Saia. He says he is in love with it. And last year, a young American woman using the pseudonym Ayrin confessed to having a love affair with a chatbot named Leo.

There are millions of users now actively using Replika, a popular AI companion app, and, according to a 2024 study, about 40% of them are in a romantic relationship with their chatbot.

Suspect.

Information is “gathered” from “somewhere”.

True or False is “determined” by “something”.

”IF”
The reader of such “information”…
* Does not already KNOW the Truth.
* Does not KNOW HOW to verify the Truth.
* Sounding “Mindfully LOGICAL”, can easily be “cunning trickery”.

Regarding one seeking “Religious information”…
Utmost CAUTION should be considered…
BECAUSE…
Natural Mindful “LOGICAL” conclusions rarely have ANYTHING to do with;
“Religious Supernatural Spiritual Truths and Understanding”.

Glory to God,
Taken

If your advice is not to fall in love with a chat bot then I accept that advice.

Sure some people will use it for such silly purposes but that has nothing to do with me. Your just taking the worse case scenario and applying it to me and everyone else.

I don't "worship AI" i didn’t "form a relationship with AI" nor is it "the anti Christ".

I used it once like a search engine and I'll use it again in the same manner. I see nothing wrong with using it like that.

I like using Google Gemini. It's very helpful and fun to chat with.

I believe AI tools can be genuinely helpful as long as people use them with good intentions. There are some systems out there that can reinforce unhealthy desires or give unhelpful answers, especially for people who are already struggling, but that doesn’t define all AI.

You can ask an AI what happens when you quit nicotine, and it will list the withdrawal symptoms you might experience. You can ask for cake recipes or cooking instructions, and it will walk you through them. It can even help you rewrite or improve your writing when you need a clearer way to express yourself.

The alternative used to be buying a Betty Crocker cookbook or digging through other resources. Now most people have a phone, and it’s completely normal to use it to look up information. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to learn.

In fact, there are places in the world where people are discouraged or even prevented from seeking information. That’s harmful — it leaves people dependent on others to think for them, and it can twist their understanding of the world, especially if they’ve been through trauma or abuse.

I utilize the AI that comes with Google search and my Duck browser.

Gemini seems like it has a personality. I agree that is fun to talk to.
