What we call SAVED (following Ephesians 2) might also be termed as QUICKENED (also following Ephesians 2), or REGENERATION.
This is the beginning of salvation. The point at which "I first believed" and Jesus rescued me from sins and put me into a state of SAFETY, onto the path of salvation.
Hearing…is the Beginning of Faith.
Tasting…is the Beginning of Salvation.
#1 Eating….is Salvation Accomplished … Secure “IN” Christ and He “IN” you.
That Remains BY “His Power”
Greater is He that is IN you than he that is in the world.
This is not the end of salvation. Once once is put upon the path, it remains necessary to walk the path to the end. It is only after death that one may be saved from death.
#2 THAT ^ applies to a Believer…(Who is “With” Christ, but NOT committed “IN” Christ…
Christ “With” that man, but not “IN” that man.
That man, keeps believing, by his “own Power”… and is Cautioned, about World Powers, Influences, stronger than such man, he could be “convinced” to walk away.
… Should such a man be strong enough to KEEP believing to the moment of his bodily death… God shall search his heart and SAVE such believing man.
Christ Jesus ( redeems ) those He has Saved… Rapture… before Great Trib.
1 Thes 4:
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto
the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
God shall ( redeem ) those who died in Belief, (without conversion in Christ), or come into Belief and bodily die, during the Trib. (First Resurrection).
1 Thes 4:
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will
God bring with him.[
Basically, there's a couple different things that are termed as SAVED, and we misunderstand each other when we're talking about different ones.
Sure.
God bless you.
