@Matthias fundamentally believes God’s children don’t have the responsibility to do Justice in this world.

That’s false. Jesus, the apostles, the church for the first three centuries of Christian history all did justice. Read the New Testament and the Ante Nicene Church Fathers.

You’re bucking them.

When asked if we are better off being ruled by Satanists and Atheists, the mental gymnastics is entertaining to watch.

Oddly enough, no one has ever asked me that question.

Ruled by Satanists and Atheists? As far as I am concerned...

If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. - 1 Corinthians 15:32

Do you honestly believe anything @Wrangler says about me?

No need to arm? No need to fight? Not being treated unjustly? Thank a United States Veteran!

No need to arm?

Pause there for just a moment. The teaching I’m standing against is ”You are not following Jesus if you aren’t armed, ready to kill.”

No need to arm? The doctrine of demons says that there is an absolute need to arm.

No need to fight? Not being treated unjustly? Thank a United States Veteran!

How many followers of Jesus have they killed?

Are we back to the low bar? -> Christians in one nation killing Christians in another nation. That’s the legacy of not following the teaching and example of Jesus and the apostles.

Where is the thanks to God?

He that beareth the sword is a minister of God and a revenger upon him that doeth evil...

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. - Romans 13

That’s right. Who was Paul talking about? At the time of his writing, that would be Nero.

Nero is “a minister of God.” Right?

As much as the judges of our land who let career criminals off the hook with no punishment.
