Why can't folks here be considerate of others by sticking to the topic rather than hijacking and destroying threads?

It's frustrating to create a thread and return hours later to see that it's been derailed and now the topic is something different entirely. Nobody does it to be malicious, of course. Nevertheless, members should be more cognizant and stay on-topic and create separate threads for other topics.

Yeah, if you're lucky you might get one page that stays on topic; just seems to be the way it is. That's the main reason I quit posting topics.
