This vid is provocative from the perspective of today's overly spiritualized. One interesting observation is the Christian hero Prince Vlad, whose Dracula means order of the Knights of the dragon. He saved European Christian women and children from Islamic invaders by attacking Islamic warriors. In his home country, he is taught in schools as a hero and defender of the faith from Mehmet who conquered Constantinople after 1,000 years of being a Christian capital. Thoughts?

Vlad Dracula, AKA Vlad the Impaler? The sick S.O.B. who would impale people on stakes through the anus? Impale babies and their mothers on the same stake? Boil people alive? Dismember people? THAT Vlad Dracula?

Quote the sayings of Jesus that commanded Vlad to torture and kill his enemies.

No link? Babies and mothers? Just disregard the evidence of the vid of him being a defender of the faith? Nice.

“Vlad the Impaler had a reputation for cruelty and sadism which became widespread during and adter his lifetime. ...”

Christian characteristics? Hardly.

He isn’t a defender of primitive Christian faith.

Vlad is Catholic. If the Catholics want to claim him as a defender of their faith, let them. Protestants, is Vlad a defender of your faith?

Didn’t watch the vid of other Scripture verses that does support it? Not surprising.
I am not going to watch a video of some nutjob who tries to convince Christians to be violent and kill, using Vlad the Impaler as a role model.

There are no verses where Jesus advocates torturing and killing enemies.

I had run across Vlad the Impaler before in my readings, but I checked my knowledge against the this Wikipedia article before I posted: Vlad the Impaler - Wikipedia

The AI summary was even more lurid.

Vlad the Impaler is no role model for Christians, but barbaric Crusader thugs could relate.

Beyond executions of individual criminals, he was known to decimate entire Saxon villages in Transylvania, and lock poor or sick citizens in burning buildings simply to eradicate poverty, and stop beggars from draining the state's resources.

Impalement was a notoriously slow and excruciating method of execution. He famously used it to punish everyone from invading armies and disloyal nobles to thieves, liars, and even foreign emissaries who refused to remove their hats in his presence.

Vlad the Impaler was called "Dracula" because it was his patronymic name, translating literally to "son of the dragon". It derives from his father, Vlad II, who was a member of the elite chivalric Order of the Dragon (Societas Draconistarum) and was known as Vlad Dracul.

In the Romanian language, adding the suffix "-a" means "the son of." Thus, Draculasignifies "son of Dracul" (or "son of the dragon").

Historically, this name had absolutely nothing to do with vampires. Because he was born in the Transylvanian city of Sighișoara, and was the son of Dracul, Vlad III simply adopted the name as his royal title and signature.

The name gained its terrifying vampire connotation centuries later, when Irish author Bram Stoker used Vlad III's patronymic and his reputation for gruesome cruelty (such as impaling enemies) to name his iconic 1897 gothic novel, Dracula.
