I’m on the easy path. My yoke is and my burden is light.
Trust completely on JESUS THE CHRIST . now in this world ye shall have persecutions
but in Him even in prison with lashed up cut up backs , paul and silas still had the JOY of the LORD and were singing praises .
Its all about childlike FAITH in HIM and trusting IN HIS E VERY WORD as solid Truth .
Let us open and read daily the bible and believe what is wri tten .
NEVER twisting and omitting ANYTHING but rather as a child simply believing and trusting in HIM and thus HIS WORDS
and thus later all things the apostels left the churches to read . Oh the b ible is lovely and the words are TRUTH .

Thanks for that--indeed, there is an easy that is good...but you know what I mean.
YES scott i knew exactly what you meant . THERE is a t rue EASY and a false easy .
The false easy looks for the path that pleases the flesh and its mindset be on monies and things of the world .
THE TRUE path will be met with great resistance and hatred against the sheep who wont conform
to their light puff n fluff , but rather expose their love of the cares and pleasures in life .
NOW paul , HE is but one example in the bible . OH he often met resistance and hatred
even being stoned once , and of ten in prison with lashes all over him .
EVEN in prison HE could sing praises to GOD . YOU SEE he had what is known as
the TRUE Abundant life in CHRIST . AND no its not about HOW MUCH money and etc ya have in life .
ITS THE REAL LIFE . the LIFE that no matter the circumstances and how harsh things can get , IT JUST
cannot take the JOY OF THE LORD away from HE whose HOPE BE IN JESUS .
Now many in the church think ya cursed if ya aint GOT what THEY CALL ya best joel osteen money blab it in grab it , name it and cliam it .
BUT EVEN THEY do not know the peace nor have the joy a sheep do .
YOU See any trial or any threat of harm or any difficutly in life ,TH EY RUN IN T ERROR , ARE WORRIED
and CONSUMED by fear . THAT IS NOT THE LIFE JESUS giveth HIS SHEEP .
They know only the life that is pleasing to the flesh . AND IT CAN NEVER BE and WILL NE VER truly BE FULLFILLED .
FOR ITS FOCUS BE NOT ON GOD , ITS HOPE NOT IN CHRIST . BUT rather in this world and the things of it .
I SURE HOPE that helps clear some things up my friend .

If you are wondering , the NKJV translates the word "εὐρύχωρος" as "Broad" as many other versions....where as some version translates the same greek word as easy....spacious

2149 εὐρύχωρος [euruchoros /yoo·roo·kho·ros/] adj. From eurus (wide) and 5561; GK 2353; AV translates as “broad” once. 1 spacious, broad.
Yes, unlike the "broad" way which is easy and doesn't require any discomfort, the "narrow" way is a squeeze and even changes a person.

I don’t know where y’all get the idea that living for Christ is hard. Are you talking about persecution of what? Do you find it hard to walk with Christ. I’m being serious,

I truly don’t understand why you guys act like walking with Christ is such a laborious task.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Every time I see this passage posted my first thoughts go to these false prosperity gospel teachers (we have them here to) who get filthy rich exploiting the name of the Lord as a business.

Key-words :
. You will know them by their fruits (v16)
. depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

They bad my friend . And they are now every bit as attached to the inc lusive god and its ecumenical harlot .
And the one true gospel Has been sold out for a lie .

Can you give an example in your Christian walk that you find hard to do?
As a Christian, we have to make some difficult choices ... such as going to church on Sunday rather than attend a family birthday celebration, or going the extra mile to help someone when we are weary, or finding forgiveness in our heart when someone has done us a great wrong.

The "rest" we find in Jesus Christ is not a quiet, easy life ... it is His reassurance that He is always with us to guide and strengthen us.

Perhaps if we do not find some things hard to do, we may be compromising too much with the world.

And we should remember those who live in countries where being a Christian can bring persecution and even death.

Why are those things hard. There’s no right or wrong choice when choosing between a family birthday and going to church. You’re church should understand that a family member’s birthday is worth missing one day of church.

Beside that, non-believers face the same conflicts in their lives.

wanna know the simple truth as to why one wont come TO THE LIGHT . to the ONE TRUE JESUS CHRIST .
or why many who cliam to do so simply follow another jesus .
Because THE TRUE LIGHT exposes their sin . and man do they love the darkness and thus
wont come TO THE LIGHT but rather will try and make THE LIGHT seem as though its darkness and hate and not loving and judgmental .
b ut do not marvel my friend . FOR even satan can appear as an angel of light , OH but HE IS OF THE DARKNESS
and so too can his men and women wear wool .

Of course everyone has conflicts in their lives ... but we are talking about conflicts for the sake of the Gospel

Do you think God is more pleased by a person sacrificing a family members feelings and choosing church over the family members feelings?

I’m just asking to make sure I know where you’re coming from.

The simple answer is Yes ... because the Bible tells us to gather together to worship God.

Hebrews 19:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Following Jesus Christ means putting Him first, even before the feelings of our family.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

I would be the opposite on that one. My family member would come before missing a day of church every time.

I realize the church/birthday was just an example but in my view, you’re view is putting a self-imposed yoke on your neck that doesn’t exist. Forsaking the assembling of ourselves doesn’t say you can’t miss a day at church. Of course this is my opinion and realize you don’t agree.

We have to ask ourselves how many times we are willing to put family before worshiping God. If your young nephew's football final is on Sunday, can you skip church again? And if your brother's flight leaves for overseas on Sunday. do you skip church again?

It comes down to why we go to church.
