Has anyone read books about The Holocaust or saw fact based movies?

I have read books about The Holocaust, what the Jews endured. Hardly any of us could have lasted those things. Also have seen some fact based movies about the concentration camps and escapes from the camps.

Also, is anyone familiar with Dr. Josef Mengele? He was called "The Angel of Death." He performed horrendous experiments in the concentration camps, mostly children. After using them for experimentation they would be killed.

The Jews say "never again." After learning what they went through, I can understand why.

I find it very hard to watch movies about the camps themselves but have watched "Judgment at Nuremberg" (1961) and "Nuremberg" (2000). I have not yet seen "Nuremberg"(2025).

It is difficult to fully understand the "never again" determination unless one has a history of persecution, especially a persecution as horrendous as that carried out by the Nazis.

The best book I've read about the Nazi persecution was "The Hiding Place" because it shows Corrie ten Boom's amazing bravery and forgiveness of those who incarcerated her and her sister Betsie, who died in the Ravensbruck camp,

Yes I agree. Here in Los Angeles we have the Weisenthal Center. It's museum has many artifacts on display from the concentration camps and photos.
