He has a lot of legit points, but he also has some wild ideas as well. The scriptures don't support the idea that the moon is the vehicle that takes souls up. And then he states that we create the world or reality we live in, and so that if someone is raped, they are to blame because "they were probably thinking about rape" so they got what they were thinking. That negates the need for justice, which scripture outlines for rape victims. If she invited it, then God wouldn't need to mete out justice against rapists ....and in fact, there would be no such thing as rape. I can't imagine why a Christian man would even say that. Do babies who are raped think "I want to be raped"? I'm sorry, but that's hitting me in the most wrong way.

I’ve listened to Dave and a few others on flat earth but the shape of the earth has never really been something I’m interested in.

I was the same until I reached my sixties, when I was confronted with the necessity of needing to face my fears (having children will do that to you). I learned how precious the discovery of truth is. Godly wisdom gives us perspective, vision, and a purpose for living. If we have godly wisdom, then we will have balance in life. When we have godly wisdom, we are going to walk by faith - both on the familiar roads of life and the unfamiliar ones.

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. Yeah, the infamous "Blue Marble" is posted on wikipedia's Space art page! "...a cropped, rotated, and processed version has become one of the most reproduced images in history."

Not all images are photographs. But these guys want it both ways, to keep you confused and compliant:

Note this sentence from the caption: "This is the first time the Apollo trajectory made it possible to photograph the south polar ice cap." Notice it does NOT say that a photograph was actually taken, only that it was "possible." The rest of the fiction tells you what you're meant to be seeing.

And finally, there is skullduggery within the image itself. The "Blue Marble" is LOADED with subliminal embeds. I took a course at university, "Visual Media," where we studied the techniques utilized to insert these embeds into the print and visual media. There are demonic faces (known in the industry as "death masks"), as well as their favorite word (it's found in the dictionary following the word "sewer" i.e. "sex"). This could qualify for its own thread, as subliminals are EVERYWHERE.

Either way, they don't have any photographs taken from "outer space" (because the firmament and their satanic overlords prevent them). The "not perfectly round" claim is a straw man argument.


That would be the stand-in, Neil deGrasse Tyson, tv-"programming" the masses. One fraud aids and abets another.

Tyson replied: "I remain unconvinced by any claims anyone has ever made about the existence or the power of a divine force operating in the universe."

I know Tyson is not a believer he is atheist scientist who admits that the earth is not a perfectly round ball. I don't mention his name because I do not want to promote him. If the earth was a round globe, then when an airplane takes off, the horizon would recede and it does not it rises. It may be a whole lot bigger than what we are being told.

If the earth was a round globe, then when an airplane takes off, the horizon would recede and it does not it rises. It may be a whole lot bigger than what we are being told.

But the horizon doesn't rise. The further you travel towards it, whether in a plane, a ship or on land, the horizon remains the same distance from where you are. That is why if I were to go by ship from my home town on the south coast of the UK, I would not be able to see France for some while, not because it is too small to see - it isn't - but from my home, France is beyond the horizon. As I get closer to France, I can eventually see it.

But the horizon doesn't rise. The further you travel towards it, whether in a plane, a ship or on land, the horizon remains the same distance from where you are. That is why if I were to go by ship from my home town on the south coast of the UK, I would not be able to see France for some while, not because it is too small to see - it isn't - but from my home, France is beyond the horizon. As I get closer to France, I can eventually see it.

That's what blows my mind about this debate, you have to be willing to ignore what you see to buy into this.

Consider their version of sun, a small ball that circles over the flat earth. Except there is no change in perspective, same with the moon. That's enough by itself to show this false.

I have the same example with our channel islands, they show the curve of the earth. I can't see them from the beach, but I can see them from the mountains. And in an inversion layer, I can see San Clemente island from the beach, which I cannot see at other times, though it's still there.

Airplanes . . . could you show me a map of a flat earth, and tell me how long it takes to fly from New York to Berlin (3,980 miles on a globe), and how long it takes to fly from Rio de Jineiro to Naimey, Niger (3,962 miles on a globe)?

On a flat earth, isn't the trip from Rio to Niger significantly longer than from NY to Berlin? Doesn't this effect magnify the further south you go?

Are any of you able to acknowledge the simplicity of this fact, that one fellow asserted that there are no pictures of the earth as seen from space that are labeled a photograph, while another fellow showed that there are pictures of the earth taken from space that are in fact labeled photographs? Showing that assertion to be in fact false?

Are you so afraid of opposing views that you are not able to make this simple admission?

It doesn't matter what they're called. They are still fake. From one year to the next, they aren't the same ... except for the same cloud formations copy and pasted on them.

What makes you think I don't believe God's Word? You know good and well that flat earthers cherry pick verses and impose their own ideas onto the Scriptures. The Bible calls the earth round, and refers to it's corners, for instance. So which is it? Or is God actually using metaphors? Why is it so difficult for you to accept that God uses metaphors?

Is heaven a line? The angels will gather the elect from one end of heaven to the other.

NASA? You assume I am basing my understanding on NASA? Why assume that? Have I ever cited NASA as the foundation of my understanding? No, I see with my own eyes that flat earth assertions are plainly false. And there is no issue with Scripture, God uses many metaphors in many contexts.

Take the sun and the moon. If in fact they are globes out in space, and the moon orbits the earth, and the earth orbits the sun, each remains in approximately the same distance from the viewer, and each appears the same size to the view.

If in fact the sun and moon are small globes that are circling over the surface of a flat earth, why is it that they do not change apparent size according to their distance? Everything else does, trains, cars, birds, mountains, throw a rock, they all do the same thing. They change apparent size due to their proximity. But not the sun or moon.

Why do you refuse to accept what your own eyes see? You won't accept that God uses metaphors, and you won't accept the evidence of God's creation.
