This is ONLY possible on the level surface of the earth which God created.

If we were on a globe, the mountains would be at least a mile below the "NASA generated curve of the earth".

That’s a poor excuse. Why don’t they do it from a two-story building close to the shore and take a picture of another two-story (or even higher) building that’s 500 miles away? If the earth was flat, that should be possible.

Why do you think they have to climb a mountain and take pictures of other mountains in order to get straight line-of-site pictures? Why climb many hundreds or thousands of feet in order to get line-of-site pictures of other mountains that are also many hundreds or thousands of feet?

Or, why not do it from a similar height hill that is far from any city and take a picture of a similar height hill in a similar location? If the earth was flat, that should be possible.
