In God's eyes this is not factual,
Please link to the associated post.

I did link to the lengthy associated post at the very start of my previous post just as I have linked to your very short post in this post.

Here is one of Ronald's statements that I spoke to in my post.
God Himself stated that they would become as "Dead Men's Bones" unto Him, they were no nation, that is why he had to revive those bones in 1948.
I referenced this post by quoting God's four Hebrew word prophecy in Genesis 15:16a that some of Abraham would return in their own strength without any assistance from God unlike His assistance when God prophesied that He would bring them out of Egypt after being living 430 years in Egypt as foretold in Genesis 15:13-14.

Now although God will gather the Israelites to Himself, 1948 was not the start of God's gathering of Israel to Himself, that will only happen 96 years later around the year 2045 AD after the completion of the two ages of the visitation of the fathers' iniquities upon their children and the children's children is completed.

Around the year 2045 AD we will see the gathering of the kings of the earth at Armageddon to be judged at the completion of the 2,300 years of Israel and the temple being trampled by the forces of the nations of the earth given to the Little Horn to carry out this trampling on his directive/behalf. Paul in Romans 11:25b-26 tells us that "when the fullness with respect to time of the Gentiles is completed, i.e. the 2,300 years of their trampling God's Temple and earthly hosts, that after that all of Israel will be saved.

What is also promised is that the judged Heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth will be imprisoned for many days, i.e. for 1,000 years after which they will receive their punishment around 24 years later. During this 24-year period the peoples of the earth will experience the Great Tribulation. The 1,260, 1,290, 1,335 day time periods will all occur within this 24-year period at the end of the Seventh Age.

I trust that will satisfy your issues.

Shalom

As expected, you're unable to provide any evidence of alleged "false reformation understanding of some 500 years ago".

Thanks for the confirmation.

As expected, you're unable to provide any evidence of alleged "false reformation understanding of some 500 years ago".

Thanks for the confirmation.

I expect nothing else from you and your determination to hold to a false understanding as if it was biblically true.

Historical records only confirm what I have posted.

Isaiah 13:19-22 and Jeremiah 50 tells us of the desolation and devastation of Babylon for two ages and In Revelation 16:17-22 we are told of Babylon's remembrance once more to receive God's wrath for what she had done in 1926 AD.

The Roman Empire has never occupied or had dominion over the land of Babylon which you claim. During the time of the reformation fathers, the German Princes demonised the Roman Catholic Church by falsely claiming that the Roman Empire was the fourth segment of the Daniel 2 Statue prophecy when in fact Babylon had been desolated and devastated some 60 years prior to the Roman Empire becoming a dominate world power in order to dimmish the power that the Roman Catholic Church held over many nations and kingdoms at that time.

Covenantee, it is your understanding that does not stand up to both Biblical and Historical examination.

Goodbye

The purpose of this thread is to discover what would happen if all of Daniel's 'days' prophecies were consistently interpreted using the Day/Year Principle:

oint so that a child could understand it. No 'mental gymnastics' are required. No 'flip-flopping' between days and years to fit some preconceived notion.

Here is a condensed list of the various 'days' we find as well as their corresponding 'years':
  • Revelation 11:11 - Three days and an half = 3-1/2 years
  • Daniel 9:24 - Seventy Weeks = 490 years
  • Daniel 7:25 - A time and times and the dividing of time = 1260 years
  • Daniel 12:7 - A time, times, and an half = 1260 years
  • Revelation 11:2 - Forty and two months = 1260 years
  • Revelation 13:5 - Forty and two months = 1260 years
  • Revelation 11:3 - A thousand two hundred and threescore days = 1260 years
  • Revelation 12:6 - A thousand two hundred and threescore days = 1260 years
  • Revelation 12:14 - A time, and times, and half a time = 1260 years
  • Daniel 12:11 - A thousand two hundred and ninety days = 1290 years
  • Daniel 8:14 - Two thousand and three hundred days = 2300 years
Please let me know if I missed any verses. We will start with the longest one, the 2300 days:
Probably need to add the prophecies in Enoch to this

They are linked, but perhaps not chronologically.
The same term (Abomination of Desolation) is flexibly used to apply to different time periods. I believe this to be intentional, to produce a pattern that Christians will recognize. As Antiochus 4 attacked orthodox Jews so Rome would attack what was supposed to be the symbol of Jewish orthodoxy--the holy city of Jerusalem and the Temple.

The reason seems clear to me. The very things being attacked, Temple Worship, would become obsolete due to the unfaithfulness of the Jewish People. Abominable People, namely the Romans, would violate the sacred places of the Jews because the Jews were not being unfaithful. We see that pattern throughout biblical history.

Take, for example, the Philistine "theft" of the Ark of the Covenant. It was not that God wanted Jewish observances of their religion to stop, but that He wanted the vain exercise of religious observances to stop.

And so, God was perfectly justified in allowing pagan armies to come in and desolate Jewish holy places in order to show the Jews that it was not Jewish religion that He wanted, but rather, Jewish faithfulness to His word. There is no use in religious observances when it is coupled with Jewish immorality and injustice.

"Abominable armies" were allowed to come in and "desolate" Israel to bring them back to a relationship with God that befitted a covenant relationship. This was true in the time of Antiochus 4 as well as in the time of the Roman invasion of Jerusalem.

Yes. I am trying to gage the level of intellect on this forum to see how much people know around here. Getting too deep in this topics tends to freak people out.
God's Word is God's Word. No need to milk toast it.

I see fallen angels and non-fallen angels as having different physiology.

I would interpret those as non-fallen.

No such idea written in God's Word.

I am not sure what you mean by 'flesh' as there are different kinds described in the Bible. There are bodies celestial, etc.. Jesus came back with flesh and bones.

It depends what you mean by 'put on'. The redeemed will clothe themselves with a heavenly tabernacle. The fallen angels can do the opposite and clothe themselves with an earthly tabernacle.

Per John 3:6, Jesus said that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of The Spirit is spirit. Are you not able to grasp that difference He showed with that? Let me make it easy for you -- flesh is made up of earthly material matter, Spirit is not. A heavenly type body is not made of flesh, even as Paul showed in 1 Corinthians 15:49-50.

Only Lord Jesus' flesh body did not see corruption (Acts 2:31). Our flesh body does.

You obviously missed what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:44-45 that Christ as "the last Adam" was made "a quickening spirit."

Likewise, you have missed what Peter showed in 1 Peter 3 about Christ's resurrection with His flesh changed to a Spirit by which He went to the "spirits in prison" in the heavenly and preached The Gospel to them.

This means at some point after Christ's resurrection of His flesh body, it was changed to a Spirit body before He ascended to Heaven, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God according to Paul in 1 Cor.15:50.

But for the rest of us, our dead flesh bodies lay in the casket decaying in the ground still when our flesh dies. It breaks down and goes back to the earthly elements where it came from. But our spirit goes back to God Who gave it (as written in Eccl.12:5-7).
