In God's eyes this is not factual,
Please link to the associated post.

I did link to the lengthy associated post at the very start of my previous post just as I have linked to your very short post in this post.

Here is one of Ronald's statements that I spoke to in my post.
God Himself stated that they would become as "Dead Men's Bones" unto Him, they were no nation, that is why he had to revive those bones in 1948.
I referenced this post by quoting God's four Hebrew word prophecy in Genesis 15:16a that some of Abraham would return in their own strength without any assistance from God unlike His assistance when God prophesied that He would bring them out of Egypt after being living 430 years in Egypt as foretold in Genesis 15:13-14.

Now although God will gather the Israelites to Himself, 1948 was not the start of God's gathering of Israel to Himself, that will only happen 96 years later around the year 2045 AD after the completion of the two ages of the visitation of the fathers' iniquities upon their children and the children's children is completed.

Around the year 2045 AD we will see the gathering of the kings of the earth at Armageddon to be judged at the completion of the 2,300 years of Israel and the temple being trampled by the forces of the nations of the earth given to the Little Horn to carry out this trampling on his directive/behalf. Paul in Romans 11:25b-26 tells us that "when the fullness with respect to time of the Gentiles is completed, i.e. the 2,300 years of their trampling God's Temple and earthly hosts, that after that all of Israel will be saved.

What is also promised is that the judged Heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth will be imprisoned for many days, i.e. for 1,000 years after which they will receive their punishment around 24 years later. During this 24-year period the peoples of the earth will experience the Great Tribulation. The 1,260, 1,290, 1,335 day time periods will all occur within this 24-year period at the end of the Seventh Age.

I trust that will satisfy your issues.

Shalom

As expected, you're unable to provide any evidence of alleged "false reformation understanding of some 500 years ago".

Thanks for the confirmation.

As expected, you're unable to provide any evidence of alleged "false reformation understanding of some 500 years ago".

Thanks for the confirmation.

I expect nothing else from you and your determination to hold to a false understanding as if it was biblically true.

Historical records only confirm what I have posted.

Isaiah 13:19-22 and Jeremiah 50 tells us of the desolation and devastation of Babylon for two ages and In Revelation 16:17-22 we are told of Babylon's remembrance once more to receive God's wrath for what she had done in 1926 AD.

The Roman Empire has never occupied or had dominion over the land of Babylon which you claim. During the time of the reformation fathers, the German Princes demonised the Roman Catholic Church by falsely claiming that the Roman Empire was the fourth segment of the Daniel 2 Statue prophecy when in fact Babylon had been desolated and devastated some 60 years prior to the Roman Empire becoming a dominate world power in order to dimmish the power that the Roman Catholic Church held over many nations and kingdoms at that time.

Covenantee, it is your understanding that does not stand up to both Biblical and Historical examination.

Goodbye

The purpose of this thread is to discover what would happen if all of Daniel's 'days' prophecies were consistently interpreted using the Day/Year Principle:

oint so that a child could understand it. No 'mental gymnastics' are required. No 'flip-flopping' between days and years to fit some preconceived notion.

Here is a condensed list of the various 'days' we find as well as their corresponding 'years':
  • Revelation 11:11 - Three days and an half = 3-1/2 years
  • Daniel 9:24 - Seventy Weeks = 490 years
  • Daniel 7:25 - A time and times and the dividing of time = 1260 years
  • Daniel 12:7 - A time, times, and an half = 1260 years
  • Revelation 11:2 - Forty and two months = 1260 years
  • Revelation 13:5 - Forty and two months = 1260 years
  • Revelation 11:3 - A thousand two hundred and threescore days = 1260 years
  • Revelation 12:6 - A thousand two hundred and threescore days = 1260 years
  • Revelation 12:14 - A time, and times, and half a time = 1260 years
  • Daniel 12:11 - A thousand two hundred and ninety days = 1290 years
  • Daniel 8:14 - Two thousand and three hundred days = 2300 years
Please let me know if I missed any verses. We will start with the longest one, the 2300 days:
Probably need to add the prophecies in Enoch to this

They are linked, but perhaps not chronologically.
The same term (Abomination of Desolation) is flexibly used to apply to different time periods. I believe this to be intentional, to produce a pattern that Christians will recognize. As Antiochus 4 attacked orthodox Jews so Rome would attack what was supposed to be the symbol of Jewish orthodoxy--the holy city of Jerusalem and the Temple.

The reason seems clear to me. The very things being attacked, Temple Worship, would become obsolete due to the unfaithfulness of the Jewish People. Abominable People, namely the Romans, would violate the sacred places of the Jews because the Jews were not being unfaithful. We see that pattern throughout biblical history.

Take, for example, the Philistine "theft" of the Ark of the Covenant. It was not that God wanted Jewish observances of their religion to stop, but that He wanted the vain exercise of religious observances to stop.

And so, God was perfectly justified in allowing pagan armies to come in and desolate Jewish holy places in order to show the Jews that it was not Jewish religion that He wanted, but rather, Jewish faithfulness to His word. There is no use in religious observances when it is coupled with Jewish immorality and injustice.

"Abominable armies" were allowed to come in and "desolate" Israel to bring them back to a relationship with God that befitted a covenant relationship. This was true in the time of Antiochus 4 as well as in the time of the Roman invasion of Jerusalem.

Yes. I am trying to gage the level of intellect on this forum to see how much people know around here. Getting too deep in this topics tends to freak people out.
God's Word is God's Word. No need to milk toast it.

I see fallen angels and non-fallen angels as having different physiology.

I would interpret those as non-fallen.

No such idea written in God's Word.

I am not sure what you mean by 'flesh' as there are different kinds described in the Bible. There are bodies celestial, etc.. Jesus came back with flesh and bones.

It depends what you mean by 'put on'. The redeemed will clothe themselves with a heavenly tabernacle. The fallen angels can do the opposite and clothe themselves with an earthly tabernacle.

Per John 3:6, Jesus said that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of The Spirit is spirit. Are you not able to grasp that difference He showed with that? Let me make it easy for you -- flesh is made up of earthly material matter, Spirit is not. A heavenly type body is not made of flesh, even as Paul showed in 1 Corinthians 15:49-50.

Only Lord Jesus' flesh body did not see corruption (Acts 2:31). Our flesh body does.

You obviously missed what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:44-45 that Christ as "the last Adam" was made "a quickening spirit."

Likewise, you have missed what Peter showed in 1 Peter 3 about Christ's resurrection with His flesh changed to a Spirit by which He went to the "spirits in prison" in the heavenly and preached The Gospel to them.

This means at some point after Christ's resurrection of His flesh body, it was changed to a Spirit body before He ascended to Heaven, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God according to Paul in 1 Cor.15:50.

But for the rest of us, our dead flesh bodies lay in the casket decaying in the ground still when our flesh dies. It breaks down and goes back to the earthly elements where it came from. But our spirit goes back to God Who gave it (as written in Eccl.12:5-7).

Oh Ronald, God told Abraham this in Genesis 15:16,

Genesis 15:16: - "But in the fourth generation/age they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete."

Which is found among the following recorded five prophetic words given to Abraham: -

Genesis 15:13-21: - First prophetic Word concerning Abraham’s descendants
13 Then He said to Abram: "Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.
Second prophetic Word given over Abraham

15 Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age.
Third prophetic Word concerning Abraham’s descendants
returning to the Land of Canaan in their own strength.

16 But in the fourth generation/age they shall return here,
Fourth Prophetic Word given to Abraham
concerning the Amorite people/nation

for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete."[1]
17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. 18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:
Fifth Prophetic Word given to Abraham as a sign that will confirm
that Abraham and his descendants will inherit the whole earth
in the distant future.

"To your descendants I have given this {entity portion of} the earth, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates — 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites." [2]

Here is the interlinear for Genesis 15:16: -

View attachment 88332

Another important passage that you have overlooked is this: -

Genesis 28:13-15: - 13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: "I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the earth on which you lie I will give this entity to your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; they shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families inhabiting My fertile soil shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to my fertile soil; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you."

The question that this passage raises is the duration of, "for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you?"

There are other prophetic words that tell us that God will not be done with His servants, Israel, until such time as the renewed Heaven and earth is completed, after which time all who have chosen to live planted in His fertile soil have entered through the final judgement.

As for your regurgitating the false reformation understanding of some 500 years ago, it is obvious that your understanding is blinked and that you cannot see that the five kingdoms that have had and still have dominion over the Land of Babylon are:-
  1. Babylon
  2. Medes and Persians
  3. Greek
  4. Iraq and finally
  5. USA led coalition of 2003.
The seventh bowl judgement in Rev 16 tells us that Babylon will be remembered once more, after a period of around 2,048 years, to receive once more God's wrath for what they had done against Israel, when France and Britian divided up the Otterman empire after WW1 in 1926 AD.

Oh well let us not allow historical facts to get in the way of our understanding of Biblical prophecy.

Shalom

[1] It should be noted that the Amorite people had, at the time of some of Abraham’s descendants returned to the land of Canaan in 1948 AD, that they had fully embraced the Islamic Religion which proclaims that Jesus is not the “Son of God” which is the iniquity, among others, that they have committed.
[2] Verses 17-21 is the same entity parcel of the earth which God had previously spoken about to give it to Abraham’s descendants which is used as a sign covenant to confirm that when they had possession of the described land for a period of time, that they would then know that God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants.
Genesis 13:14-17 –– 14 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: "Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are — northward, southward, eastward, and westward;15 for this entity portion of the earth which you see I give this entity to your descendants for a period of time where the end point of this period will be beyond their ability to comprehend. 16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. 17 Arise, walk throughout this entity portion of the earth, its length and its width, for Me to give this entity."
Wow. this not debate, you lost the debate by dodging everything I said, which proves you to be in error and shows my points validity, and just POSTED SOMETHING not even germane to what the conversation was. So you lost the debate, or admitted defeat on the points.

That is your opinion.

In God's eyes this is not factual, God Himself stated that they would become as "Dead Men's Bones" unto Him, they were no nation, that is why he had to revive those bones in 1948. The Beasts were all put forth to bring Israel unto repentance. God stopped that 70 weeks judgment as Jesus died God left (rent the temple into) and thus the Judgment was put off until after the Church Age, meaning we are Raptured pre 70th week, and then Israel's 70th week will starts back up.

I searched the NKJV for the expression of "Dead Men's Bones" and only found that phrase in this portion of scripture: -

Matt 23:27-28: - 27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
NKJV
which Christ had stated the condition of the Scribes and Pharisees and was not an expression He used to describe all of the Israelites.

Also, the visitation of the iniquities of the fathers during the first and second generation/age of the existence of the nation of Israel as described in Exodus 20:4-6 could have been avoided if during the 490 years of Daniel 9:24a, the fathers had repented before the declared visitation of their iniquities would begin after the birth of Christ from the beginning of the third age/generation of Israel and was prescribed until the end of the fourth age/generation of their existence. Matt 24:32 tells us when the beginning of the seventh age of mankind would begin around 96 years after the sign of the Fig Tree budding leaves once again. The end of the fathers' visitation of their iniquities will end at the end of the sixth age of mankind in the years 2044AD with Armageddon and the Isaiah 24:21-22 judgement of the Heavenly Hosts and the kings of the earth will occur with their gathering together to be imprisoned in the Bottomless pit for 1,000 years.

After the Bottomless Pit is unlocked to release the Kings of the earth, Satan, the Beast and the Little Horn will only have a period of no more than 24 years for the 1,260 days, 1,290 Days and the 1,335 Days and the revealing of the abomination of desolation, to be played out before they will be captured once again and dispatched into the Lake of Fire and Christ will then return to judge all of Mankind.

Paul in Romans 11:25b-26 tells us that "after the fulness, with respect to time of the Gentiles is completed after 2,300 years, that all of Israel will be saved." Israel will be saved because God will begin gathering all of Israel to Himself and He will plant them in His fertile soils which exists all over the earth, where they are living scattered all over the earth and that He will teach them on the "Mountain" that grew out of the rock that comes down out of Heaven during the time of those kings, who become the toes and feet of the Daniel 2 Statue who gain dominion over the Land of Babylon in the year 2003 AD when they invaded the country know as Iraq.

It is our response to God's drawing us to Himself and how we put our relationship with God into practice that will decide whether or not that we will be counted among the righteous who pass to Christs right hand side to receive our inheritance of the whole earth.

As to your diagrams of the countries that will prevail during the last 24 years of the Seventh Age, they are really irrelevant at this point in time.

As to the saints being raptured prior to the 70th week, this will not happen because all of the earth will be refined by fire so as to remove the dross from the saints.

I trust that this helps you with your understanding.

Shalom

That is your opinion.
No, its a fact you had to dodge because you could not answer a rebut. ANYTIME someone dodges they admit the other person is correct, and they lose.

I searched the NKJV for the expression of "Dead Men's Bones" and only found that phrase in this portion of scripture: -
You want to play games? With God's holy word? Ezekiel 37's the Valley of Dry Bones prophesy, in which Ezekiel was asked by God, son of man, CAN THESE BONES LIVE? So, they were a Valley of Dead Bones, Israel were seen by God as DEAD BONE,S, then God revived those dead bones.

The above is why you can't answer, it defeats you so you have to pretend you do nit understand one of the greatest ever prophesies in the bible. Come on brother.

Paul in Romans 11:25b-26 tells us that "after the fulness, with respect to time of the Gentiles is completed after 2,300 years, that all of Israel will be saved.
Paul never said 2300 years, you added that in, and its1150 days which happens during the 70th week. Its 2300 Evening and Morning Oblations that is taken away.

You do no understand what Paul is saying by the Fulness of the Gentiles, THINK MAN. What is Paul doing in Romans chapters 9-11? He starts out by saying God uses whom He desires when He so desires. God is the Potter, not us, God HARDENED Pharaohs heart, God CHOSE Jacob over Esau etc. etc. He does all this to set up chapter 11, and you entirely miss this when you read vs. 25. He is talking about SERVICE unto God, thus the Gentile Churches SERVICE unto God will become FULL, then ALL Israel will be called to repent as a Nation.

Rom. 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

23 And they also, if they(Israel, Paul is clearly talking about TWO ENTITIES, not one) abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them(Israel, not the Church but THEM) in again.

24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part {{In PART means what? It means INDIVIDUAL Jews can come unto Christ, so that is NOT who Paul is talking about here, he's talking about a time, in the FUTURE when God will call Israel as a Nation unto repentance}} is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. {{ Recall Rom. 9 now, how Paul was showing the Romans are not special, God can use who He so pleases, so DO NOT FORGET THIS, lest you fall into UNBELEIF as Israel did. Then in Rom. 11 he shows them who Israel will only be blinded IN PART meaning as a Nation, not as INDIVIDUALS whoc would go against God's Nature, He desires that ALL MEN should be saved, so this proves you to be in error, if God has blinded Israel as ONLY a Nation, not as individuals, then when He chooses to lift that blindness, it can only be on the Nation Israel as a WHOLE.

Thus only when the fulness of the Gentiles [SERVICE unto God comes Full] will He call Israel unto Repentance.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved(Not every Jew but SEED from all 12 tribes preserve Israel as a Nation): as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

TBH, it is sad that people who do not undertstand these things try to teach them anyway.

I notice again, you run away without rebut.

I have no need to debate you over your flawed theological understanding. But what I have done is to actually present the facts as found in scripture. The question that you have not factually answered is when will the valley of dry bone become covered by flesh once more.

I would suggest to you that the fulfilment of this Ezekiel 37:1-14 prophecy is still a distant future event, yet you are claiming that it has already been fulfilled.

It is your prerogative as to when you believe that this prophecy has been fulfilled, that is your understanding, I on the other hand hold a contrary opinion as to when it will be fulfilled.

Perhaps we both need to wait for the events that will take place when the kings of the earth gather at Armageddon around the year 2045 A.D. and whether or not God will judge the kings of the earth for their part in trampling the nation of Israel.

I am happy to let the unfolding prophetic words of God to be revealed to confirm where we are along the timeline of the End Times.

It is time for this conversation between us to be put on hold until God reveals to us the relevant confirmations as to where we are along the timeline.

Shalom

I would suggest that prophecies tend to be fulfilled more than once.

From my view, this one was fulfilled in the 1st century with the adoption of the Gentiles to re-constitute Israel. That doesn't mean it can't/won't be fulfilled again.

It has not been my observation that prophecies are fulfilled multiply times, but I am happy for people to provide their proof where this has happened for my consideration.

That doesn't seem to be the purpose of this topic, but a couple prominent examples:

"Out of Egypt I have called my son"
"The virgin shall be with child"
