Huh....
I've raised children, and before that I babysat many, many children and babysat many more after raising my own. When a child throws a tantrum, you MUST ignore them since they are caught up in their overwhelming feelings and thus, unreasonable. They have absolutely no capacity to be reasonable while in that state. When you walk into another room, they follow you. They want what they want, but don't/can't SEE (or remember in your case) that it was available to them the whole time, but because of the tantrum was put away out of reach because of their present behaviour.

Your behaviour doesn't warrant answering because you must first recognize your own behaviour and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for it. You've been spreading lies, ranting, ... in short, not acting like a reasonable, responsible adult. (It's people like you that kept me from becoming a member on the 2 Christian sites I was ever a member of.) Oh, it can be cute at times, and comical at other times, BUT ALWAYS UNREASONABLE.

YOU DON'T LISTEN/COMPREHEND for any amount of time (possibly a handicap???). YET, your posts are SO LONG and hard to follow/comprehend (English a second language, or just poetically minded??? who knows) to say what?? (You just practicing your typing skills?) I have to read your posts 2 or 3 times to understand you...I have to admit, most of the time I just skip over your posts...it's not worth my time for the effort it takes me. I'm not interested in a one-sided relationship where IF YOU don't get what YOU WANT/NEED, you keep railing. In other words, are you finished with your tantrums?

Now, for ALL the effort I took, what did you think about the podcast??
If you folks could only hear yourselves: "Drunken","religious nut," "are you handicapped???" or "just practising your typing skills?", "people like you". It's very unbecoming of a Christian at any stage. (shaking my head)

Sister, there are times where it is best to take a break from these forums, and simply lean on God, and His Word. I've done that several times while being here as a member. In the end, I'm sure you would agree, only God can lead us, and not men.

In my 17 years here I have taken many breaks. Sometimes our zeal gets the better of us and a rest does one well

And on and on it goes, year after year after year. No change. What does that tell us?

Much love!

I've been curious. Do you use AI to generate your comments? Your website is littered with AI. I say this as an artist, who has an I for computer generated content.
I knew that his comments were artificial...I just thought they were religiously so. A fake religious ideology lends itself well to copy paste.

I'm sure there are some who would like that.

I think the ones lacking in self control, who spend their time badmouthing others should be the ones to go. But that's just me.

Seeing who defends what kind of behavior is always an eye opener.

Someone points to another person's bad behavior, and the reply is, Maybe you should go.

We call this a "tell".

You are not answering the Scriptures. You are changing the subject and accusing me of teaching something I did not teach.

I never said grace replaces obedience. I never said grace is a license to sin. That accusation is false. Paul already answered it: “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid” (Romans 6:1-2). Biblical grace does not excuse sin. It breaks sin’s dominion: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14).

But none of that rescues what you have taught.

You said God accepts people “based on either works or faith.” Scripture says, “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law” (Romans 3:28).

Your verse doesn't back up your claim. The deeds of the law are the temple holiness laws that made a person a Jew...circumcision and such. You don't know what either righteousness or holiness is. All you have is an indoctrination into an UNLEARNED religious ideology that a LITTLE bit of study would overturn.

What do you think deeds of the law are? Humility? Fear of the Lord? But you rail and accuse because of your ignorance. So you sin double.
You said grace must be “purchased with our whole lives.” Scripture says, “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace” (Romans 11:6).

Paul talks about ABUNDANT grace besides the gift of grace. Are you walking in resurrection life over sin? Of course not...you are still in unbelief in regards to he gospel. You have taken the deception in as if it saved you. That's all you have. Have you ever read the words of Jesus? Buy from Me He says...to religious people who think they are rich and can see. You need to listen to Jesus. Look up the word "BUY" in the bible. That's something you will never hear in the Babylonian religious system. All the crowd wants is free stuff...not one of you will lay their life down to be a FOLLOWER of Christ. You only want what any carnal man would do...believe that Jesus is God. Acknowledging that does not make you obedient to God.
You said, “It’s not the death of Jesus that justifies us.” Scripture says, “being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him” (Romans 5:9).

Are you that slow???? The blood of Jesus IS the life of Jesus. We are not meant to be like crows that feast on dead bodies. But you are a crow here.
Those statements are not “balanced doctrine.” They contradict the Word of God.

My doctrine follows the entire bible because I was taught by the Spirit of God. You were taught by manipulating pulpiteers and spew Lutheran heresies that dishonour God. You don't believe in the gospel. (On either level)
And now you are trying to hide those contradictions behind talk about obedience and holiness.

The only contradictions come from your attempt at theology.
That will not work. Scripture teaches obedience as the fruit of salvation, not the price of grace and not another basis of justification.

False. God gives grace to those who obey Him. Have you read the bible?

"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

You have no experience with God. Only bible reading and pew sitting. :confused You think grace is a free pass...but it is the power of God to obey the law PERFECTLY. If you sin then you are not under grace...but under the law.

If you OBEY God and repent you get the gift of the Spirit
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us” (Titus 3:5).

Yes. saved from sin. No one has the power to overcome sin unless they are under grace...to walk as Jesus walked. (It's funny you can ignore anything spiritual and victorious I say...because you have never known anything any deeper than a religious opinion).

The bible NEVER speaks of "getting" saved. That is a sunday school deviant doctrine that seeks to reward a selfish religious pursuit.
You also accuse me of teaching “a lawless salvation.”

That's all you have. You claim obedience is trying to be saved by works of the law...which is false. You don't know any of the meanings of these words.
That is simply bearing false witness against what I have said. I have repeatedly stated that genuine faith produces obedience.

You have parroted Lutheranism. Do you produce sin? Do you have a sinful holiness? (it's funny you don't respond to that one) Are you half holy? Your kind of doctrine is so foolish and has brought evil into the world...all the excessive sins we see in the world come from church disobedience and rebellion against the truth.
But good works follow salvation.

Good works better. Because some people who are not believers also do good works. What you should actually say...to not be a false teacher...is PERFECT works follow salvation...or else it's just a human trying harder. Your works are NOT from salvation..because you don't know what salvation is. Hint: It's not a saved status. That's churchy...not biblical.
They do not purchase it, complete it, or become another ground upon which God justifies a sinner.

Not initial grace. It is a free sample. Without the sample you would not lay down your life to buy the full measure. THAT is the gospel. We can walk as Jesus walked by grace through faith. But you don't obey the gospel. You only give it lip-service.

People in the religious system have been told that the free sample is ALL YOU NEED to be justified forever. But Jesus says that we should buy from Him gold, eye salve and garments that are purified in the fire of an eternal holiness....so that a person can be a vessel of honour.
Paul did not tolerate men corrupting the gospel, and neither should we: “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9).

Why do you condemn yourself? If you don't want to hear the truth...don't come to my threads and heap more condemnation on yourself.
So stop attacking a position I do not hold and answer the Bible.

Is a man justified by faith without the deeds of the law, as Romans 3:28 says, or not?

Of course. God will impute righteousness by faith or works. That is taught throughout the bible in both testaments. You have to actually pray a little and seek HARD. You need to break free of your religious conditioning to KNOW GOD. The glory of God is not available by looking online. You have to go to Him...which of course you won't. None of you crows will ever seek the Lord. Obey the gospel...seek FIRST the kingdom. Just one minute in Zion and you will change everything you think you know. You need to be baptized in the Spirit if you want to have any discernment.
Is a sinner justified by Christ’s blood, as Romans 5:9 says, or not?

You are like a child that thinks he knows what he is reading. Justification comes from the LIFE of Jesus...not His death. Because you have a dead religion you only see death. Awake you who sleep, rise from the dead and Christ will give you LIFE. That is the gospel...not a self-justification by claiming Jesus as your personal sacrificial Lamb.
If your doctrine cannot survive those plain texts, then your doctrine is false. Scripture does not need to bow to your “depth of understanding.” Your understanding must bow to Scripture.
The bible truth can't survive your reading of it. My understanding comes from God. The bible lines up perfectly with it's Author. You need to contact the Author if you want to avoid condemnation. .

I noticed this when he posted two lengthy comments, five minutes apart, on two separate threads a week or so. I'm here to learn. From you and others. Even when people disagree, I can look to God for His truth to discern. I enjoy the dialogue. When it gets ugly, I try my best to see where each persons heart is, and how God's Holy Spirit resides in them. As a lurker, I've been edified much from all of you in this thread, my brothers and sisters in Christ. True love to you all. I'll bow out for now. Hb

I'm sorry that people can not tolerate sound doctrine. And that the carnal mind is so hostile to anything regarding either holiness or righteousness. The devil sure knows how to do his job. I'm so sorry for the fighting here...but most of these people will never hear the truth away from what I'm posting...such is the lack out there.

Please go...you are a troll here. And there are other threads that you can get your ego edified in. May I suggest...the "happy thread".

If you leave the carnality level here will drop. But you won't know that. Start your own thread...encourage each other in whatever theological scheme is the latest fad.

No, it is talking about the letter of the law......deeds of the Law including moral/ethical laws.......it says "for by the law is the knowledge of SIN" in those same verses, not knowledge of Jewish ordinances. It is talking about a checklist of external obedience without requiring any internal change or even genuine love for God. You won't hear this, but It is another example of you splicing and dicing things too finely, overthinking, and going beyond what is written. You make it all sound so difficult and complex, as if you think we need to examine everything with an electron microscope or we will miss the message. The bible wasn't written that way.

It's like listening to children in the playground. I hope one day you can actually know Jesus.

Maybe you cannot see the immaturity in which you post, but others can. Take a clue! Christians don't talk that way. Well, not after the Holy Spirit spends some time cleaning them up. But after as many years as you claim to be Christian, still, listen to you!

When you write, your words reveal yourself, not others, but as many times as I've told you that, it's never taken root in you. So you simply continue to reveal yourself, a man without self control, who sees himself superior to others, though he does not practice what he preaches.

You are not reading Paul correctly...and twisting the verse as Peter warns. There is no differentiation between holiness laws and righteousness laws in the Mosaic law. There were 2 tablets given to Moses...and the ordinances he came up with were for national Israel...as a people.

The law that reveals sin is the law of God...basically the 10 commandments.

It is talking about a checklist of external obedience without requiring any internal change or even genuine love for God. You won't hear this, but It is another example of you splicing and dicing things too finely, overthinking, and going beyond what is written.

Not at all. Jesus came to tighten up the law....showing that the law is actually a holiness standard. But your argument means that anything less than a perfect holiness is going against the law. The righteous standard is just to do one's best. What religious people do is deny the righteous standard to the ones trying..and then just try to do the best themselves. No grace....no mercy...nothing.
You make it all sound so difficult and complex, as if you think we need to examine everything with an electron microscope or we will miss the message. The bible wasn't written that way.
The bible is VERY nuanced and not meant to be interpreted by people's opinions. Only prophets can teach the bible accurately. That's why you read about them in the bible...Paul says that in every meeting 2 or 3 prophets should prophesy....and any other one should sit by.

So the LEVEL of your understanding is far too superficial to penetrate ANY of what is being said. Why not save your soul and humble yourself? Are your religious opinions worth condemnation on judgment day??? What kind of boost are you looking for?

Catholics....who you condemn ....are far more righteous than you...NOT getting involved in things that are above them. They tend to be pious and humble, whereas the evangelical is normally arrogant, proud and obnoxious.

Humanity fell, because Adam and Eve decided they could declare what was right and wrong. God made everything "good". But after Adam and Eve fell, taking from the tree, Adam told God off, by basically saying God was wrong. Adam told God, he was naked. We are not God. Lets go back to being children. Those who can enter the Kingdom of God. "Adults" think they know everything, but they close off their minds and hearts.
