Yes, that is how I see it.

There is a big difference between great tribulation/affliction faithful saints endure in this life, and the WRATH of God that shall be poured out upon the whole earth when the Lord comes again.

First the dead in Christ then the alive ones
The ones LEFT BEHIND then go into the 7 year tribulation
1 Thess 4:
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Bingo.First the dead in Christ then the alive ones
The ones LEFT BEHIND then go into the 7 year tribulation
1 Thess 4:
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
This prayer is given to Israel, facing the great tribulation. It would not matter if I obeyed Jesus command..." pray that you may be counted worthy to Escape the things about to come upon the earth and stand before the sun of man."
Oh, you don't agree.....I won't be going in that rapture as I will have been raptured...or resurrected if I croak first....7 years prior.I don't agree. The rapture occurs on the last day of this age.
The base is Jesus, Peter. Do you find when Jesus is the factor to interpret scripture, it is faulty?Based on your faulty interpretation of Scripture
Jesus taught all His apostles for their specific role & audience and the ONLY Apostle that was chosen by Christ for you & I today is Acts 9:15, Rom11:13, Rom 15:16 PaulThe base is Jesus, Peter. Do you find when Jesus is the factor to interpret scripture, it is faulty?
Except the rapture is not salvation.
Those left behind are saved.
They are not the bride.
You think the carnal believers Paul described are not the secular pew sitters of today's church. ?
Read the 7 letters to the 7 churches.
Some are worthy some are not.
Yet the letters are to BELIEVERS.
If there is a lump gathered passively as you suggest, then the prayer of Jesus can be obeyed, or cast aside.
It would not matter if I obeyed Jesus command..." pray that you may be counted worthy to Escape the things about to come upon the earth and stand before the sun of man."
How many times does the bible use "worthy saints vs unworthy saints"?
See that?
Saved worthy saints
Saved unworthy saints.
Both are saved.
The rapture is the gathering of the bride, not carnal ,secular, but saved, pew sitters.
Mush is when you divide the apostles or the message of the apostles. They all share Jesus according to their personality.Jesus taught all His apostles for their specific role & audience and the ONLY Apostle that was chosen by Christ for you & I today is Acts 9:15, Rom11:13, Rom 15:16 Paul
ONLY Christ Gal 1:11-12 taught Paul the Gospel for you & I
Gal 2:2 Paul even had to tell the 12 of that Gospel.
They then agreed Gal 2:7-9 that Paul goes to us & they to their audience
So maybe listen to the teachings of Christ through Paul that applies to us today instead of putting everything in a blender and coming out with mush.
..
"One taken, one left behind"I don't agree. The rapture occurs on the last day of this age.
What seven-year wrath/tribulation? Great tribulation is the lot in this life as the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ is being built.
That may be the way you read Acts 14:22, but the passage does not say only the saints alive when this was spoken must endure tribulation in this life. And again, why are you limiting tribulation to 7 years when the Bible repeatedly speaks of tribulation/affliction faithful believers, as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God must endure throughout their lives?
This is the topic! Because ALL believers shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds at His coming again.
Since the Bible says NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture, until you can prove what you allege, you're arguing against the truth.
ALL believers shall be caught up to meet the Lord to keep us from having part in the wrath of God that shall be fire that shall come down upon this earth. But the rapture does not keep us from tribulation/affliction that is ordained as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ.
"One taken, one left behind"
1) preflood
2) the setting , preflood, is described by Jesus.
3) that Greek word is used as "taken to a good place"
4) Noah is gathered into the ark preflood.(pretrib).
5) Noah RETURNS FROM THE HEAVENS POSTRIB/POST FLOOD.
Can not happen. When the last/seventh trumpet sounds and Christ has come again all of humankind, both the dead and the living, shall either be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds, or they shall be burned up along with the earth and everything on it. Then shall come the great white throne judgment when believers shall inherit the new earth, and unbelievers shall all have their part in the lake of fire that is the second death!
Who goes back with Jesus in the pre-tribulation rapture?
Is it all of Christ bride....just the worthy of Christ bride....just those that are looking for Jesus coming?
Currently I'm of the opinion all christians are raptured.
Thoughts?????
I'm not here to argue the biblical pre-tribulation rapture in the post...but if all saints will be raptured or just some of them when the rapture occurs.

Perhaps Daniels 70th week would sound better. That may be the way you read Acts 14:22, but the passage does not say only the saints alive when this was spoken must endure tribulation in this life. LOL...if you say so.Since the Bible says NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture
I agree. I was looking for some partial rapture ideas. All that are "alive and remain" will be raptured.
You're assuming this "last trumpet" is the one John wrote about in Revelation. When the last/seventh trumpet sounds
I agree. I was looking for some partial rapture ideas.
You're assuming this "last trumpet" is the one John wrote about in Revelation.
Thing is, Paul wrote about it before John wrote Revelation. This would indicate Paul had a different trumpet in mind.
