Yes, that is how I see it.

Much love!

There is a big difference between great tribulation/affliction faithful saints endure in this life, and the WRATH of God that shall be poured out upon the whole earth when the Lord comes again.

First the dead in Christ then the alive ones
The ones LEFT BEHIND then go into the 7 year tribulation
1 Thess 4:
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

No, after both the dead in Christ, and those alive at His coming are caught up in the clouds with Christ, then ALL who are left behind on this earth shall suffer God's fiery wrath that shall be poured down upon the whole earth from heaven. Then shall come the great white throne judgment for the DEAD.

It would not matter if I obeyed Jesus command..." pray that you may be counted worthy to Escape the things about to come upon the earth and stand before the sun of man."
This prayer is given to Israel, facing the great tribulation.

As I've previously said, the language in 2 Thessalonians 4:17-18 is inclusive, so I'm going with that.

Much love!

I don't agree. The rapture occurs on the last day of this age.
Oh, you don't agree.....I won't be going in that rapture as I will have been raptured...or resurrected if I croak first....7 years prior.

The base is Jesus, Peter. Do you find when Jesus is the factor to interpret scripture, it is faulty?
Jesus taught all His apostles for their specific role & audience and the ONLY Apostle that was chosen by Christ for you & I today is Acts 9:15, Rom11:13, Rom 15:16 Paul
ONLY Christ Gal 1:11-12 taught Paul the Gospel for you & I
Gal 2:2 Paul even had to tell the 12 of that Gospel.
They then agreed Gal 2:7-9 that Paul goes to us & they to their audience
So maybe listen to the teachings of Christ through Paul that applies to us today instead of putting everything in a blender and coming out with mush.
