Especially, for the bitter ones?
Will only accept what they need to believe for their self justification.

The media knows full well how to play those kind of people.

Perhaps you have forgotten the Forum Rules:
"Do not circumvent forum policies or publicly discuss staff actions."

Also I have given warnings to three Trump supporters. You just didn't know that.
I have most of them on ignore.

Question: Does this mean as a member of staff, you can do anything you want? You can call me "TDS", for example, for no reason other than I have a different view than you do?

Not discussing staff actions publicly ... that's very vague.

Is posting scripture off limits?

2 John 1:11
“For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

You can have the Holy Spirit ----and not be filled with the Spirit.
That is why it says....

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30.

You can have the Holy Spirit and still walk in the flesh if a believer is not careful.
That is why we are told not to grieve the Holy Spirit!

...g
No. To have the Holy Spirit is to be filled with the Holy Spirit; they are one and the same. That is completely separate from grieving the Spirit through all manner of sin, disobedience, thanklessness, neglect, etc.

Don't need to hear again the false claims you already made.
Which one(s) is(are) false?

There is plenty corruption that Trump is exposing. Both sides have improperly used tax payer money and overspent since 2000. In the 90's our budget was nearly balanced. Then 9/11 brought on the Iraq and Afganistan wars coatings trillions iver the years, then 2008 economic crash, then bailouts, printing money - trillions ... just foolish and wreckless governing. Americans themselves are in debt and spend 80% more on credit than they did in 50's and 60's when they paid mostly with cash. It's all out of control. Lawyers are at the bottom of the list of trustworthy people and most of Congress are lawyers. Trump is not.
Trump is by far the most corrupt and untrustworthy politician in the west, perhaps ever.

Doesn't even accept a salary nor does not need the job to increase his wealth like all others practically have. I think he actually lost wealth.
It's irrelevant that he doesn't accept salary because it is proven that he is using his position as President to substantially increase his wealth--more than all current politicians combined and significantly more that all past President's combined.

"After returning to office, Donald Trump’s net worth jumped to $7.3 billion, up from $3.9 billion in 2024, according to a tally that Forbes published in September. In mid-December, Trump Media and Technology Group announced a planned merger with TAE Technologies, a company working to develop nuclear fusion technology. That merger was the latest move to raise questions about Trump and conflicts of interests, given that his Administration oversees the regulation of the nuclear industry.

Most modern Presidents before Trump put their assets into blind trusts or broadly diversified funds in order to avoid concerns from the public about the White House favoring policy decisions that would benefit a President financially. Trump didn’t do that for his first term, and hasn’t done that for his second. Since his inauguration a year ago, he’s continued to stay involved in his companies while also entering into new ventures that have soared in value."

3 Ways Trump’s Wealth Has Soared Since He Returned to Offic

Lot's of info out there about his unethical dealings that increase his and his family's wealth. His willingness to (supposedly) not take a salary is just pulling the wool over his supporters' eyes while he robs them blind.

Filled by the Spirit is not the same as Indwelt by the Spirit.

If it were so?

Then why would Paul command believers to be filled with the Spirit?
When he wrote Ephesians 5:18 to believers who already had the Indwelling Holy Spirit?

And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to
reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit:

In post #106 – you minimized the importance of the issue of Abortion by stating:

“Two of the main problem with Republican evangelicals is 1) they are far too narrowly focused on LGBTQ+ and abortion as important as they are”
Again, bearing false witness.

They aren’t just “important” – but two of the MOST important issues of our time. Not only will this nation be judged for the unbridled MURDERS of tens of MILLIONS of innocent children – it was precisely the issue of “LGBTQ+++++++” that toppled the Roman Empire.

This world REFUSES to heed the warnings of history. We are ALL positioning ourselves to be conquered by Islam – just as the Romans were conquered by Germanic tribes.

And the band plays on . . .

WRONG.

In post #226YOU said:
“Are you even able to see that what I said is not all that different from what you just said?”

I responded with:

“I disagree because I follow Christ.”
Again, please try and follow the discussion.

I first stated that one of the main problems "with Republican evangelicals is 1) they are far too narrowly focused on LGBTQ+ and abortion, as important as they are." (HERE)

You responded: "As for the other "minor" problem, according to YOU." (HERE)

(That is falsely implying that I stated or consider abortion to be a minor problem.)

I replied: "First, I never said that abortion and LGBTQ+ were a minor problems." (HERE)

You replied: "You ABSOLUTELY did imply that they were minor problems compared to other issues." (HERE)

(Which is blatantly false.)

And: "There is almost NOTHING more important than the souls being LOST for eternity through the sexual indoctrination of our kids by the Alphabet Mafia. And Abortion is THE most crucial issue of our times . . ." (Also HERE)

So, here you're responding by making an implicit comparison to other issues. But that's all I did. Yet, after that, you replied with: "YOU said that we put too much emphasis on those things. I disagree because I follow Christ." (HERE)

However, my response that "You disagree with something I never said," is because I never said that "we put too much emphasis on those things." That's a blatant lie; I never even implied it.

You also got dangerously close to implying that I'm not a Christian when you said: "Maybe YOU should as well . . ." (Also HERE)

And, you have lied yet again in the quote above, because it was not in relation to what I said--“Are you even able to see that what I said is not all that different from what you just said?”--that you disagreed, it was in relation to what you falsely claim I said--"You said that we put too much emphasis on those things."

WRONG again.

In yet another attempt to minimize the horror of Abortion – YOU said in post #226:

“Are you even capable of seeing that there are many other significant issues in the world, including how we treat those humans being that are already born?
Again, bearing false witness. I have never minimized the horror of abortion. Not once.

I simply challenged you to provide similar numbers among those “already born” . . .
Again, it had nothing to do with my argument. You're simply not following the flow of arguments in the discussion.

PROVE it.

Your accusations mean absolutely NOTHING without
proof . . .

You keep accusing me of “bearing FALSE witness” – which is a LIE . . .
No, I've shown it several times. It's there for all to see, even if it is only based on a lack of comprehension on your part.

WRONG again, son . . .

In post #26 – YOU said:

He cares for nothing except what he and his family and wealthy friends can gain from him being President.

In post #211, I corrected your claim that Trump was only in it for the money.
I educated you about the fact that he not only LOST money from being president – but that he was faced over 400 years in prison on FALSE charges. I also had to remind you that he was SHOT during one of the MANY attempts on his lie.

Not “irrelevant” at
ALL . . .
Yes, entirely irrelevant since assassination attempts have nothing to do with what I said.

And YOU say that because he is making OUR country great – not yours.
That chore belongs to YOUR leaders . . .
Interestingly, the U.S. is considered to be going down and Mark Carney is considered the leader of the west by many. It's why Carney has been invited to address the European Parliament next month.

And all Trump can do is embarrass himself and the U.S. by trying to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. Incredibly petty and immature; it's embarrassing. Of course, now he's labelling two sovereign nations as U.S. territories. There is an obvious pattern here: Trump knows nothing of geopolitics and cares nothing for geopolitics. He's a narcissistic ignoramus.

Of course, as many have pointed out, Trump only treats poorly those countries that are his friends and allies and those he thinks are weak. He's much too cowardly to do anything to the countries that could actually seriously attack the U.S. That makes him also a bully.

Canada – and MOST other nations have been ripping is off for decades with tariffs and military protection. It’s time you ALL paid your fair share – and Trump is making SURE of that . . .
No, no they haven't. Again, Trump is literally clueless about foreign trade, trade deficits, and all things geopolitical. He has no business being President, as he has once again shown yesterday and today.

Hundreds of Christian leaders and scholars nationwide are denouncing President Donald Trump's administration and urging more active resistance among the faithful to “the injustices and anti-democratic danger sweeping across the nation.”
-----------------------------------

“We are facing a cruel and oppressive government,” their collective statement begins. “In moments like this, silence is not neutrality ‒ it is an active choice to permit harm.”

Titled “A Call to Christians in a Crisis of Faith and Democracy,” the letter says the nation is facing a PROFOUND MORAL, SPIRITUAL, and DEMOCRATIC EMERGENCY.

Can you be more specific, please?

Who specifically is feeling oppressed?

The evangelical dissent against Trump is about more than politics. It is about faithfulness to Jesus. Not faithfulness to parties, personalities, or power. The question for every believer is:

“Are you for Jesus or are you for Trump?”

Again?
Specifically which evangelicals?

You keep speaking dogmatically using generalities.

The question for every believer is: “Are you for Jesus or are you for Trump?”

That's what is called the false dichotomy fallacy.

A better question is whether a believer thinks Trump's policies more align with Jesus' teaching than Democrat policies do.
